Leonardo DiCaprio and Bar Refaeli have split, Gossip Cop confirms.

The superstar actor and the supermodel broke up last week. The parting was amicable.

As Gossip Cop recently reported, DiCaprio and Refaeli’s relationship had hit a rough patch as the two grew apart.

They began dating in 2005, and took a six-month break in 2009 before reuniting.

Today’s news was first reported by the NY Post.

    Bar Refaeli’s career has suffered significant damage in Israel because she was dating a gentile. Seems more than a little ironic to be hearing that from the folks who scream racism and anti-semitism all over this planet in the loudest voices available. I guess it depends whether you’re pitch’n or catch’n.

    First I feel sorry for both Leonardo DiCaprio and Bar Rafaeli. I’m sure my sympathy matters to them. My thoughts are DiCaprio is portraying J.Edgar Hoover in the Clint Eastwood directed movie. J.Edgar’s lover was at one time thought to be Joaquin Phoenix. Phoenix was on “Late Night with David Letterman” with that notorious interview around 2/09/09. Bar Rafaeli was a guest too. JP with his bizarre interview upstaged the world famous model. In fact I remember she was on the show because she was on the cover of that year’s Sports Illustrated Swim suit model issue. Finally her name is Rafaeli. Her name I wonder if its Hebrew for Raphael, the archangel of healing. Maybe with some luck , good fortune the relationship can be healed. Joaquin Phoenix’s middle name is Raphael.

    Didn’t mean Joaquin Phoenix was J. Edgar Hoover’s lover. JP is definitely too young. What I mean was he was at one time supposed to play J Edgar’s lover in the biopic.

    It was only a matter of time before this happened. If he didn’t propose to her the first year they where together, then it wasn’t going to last. Well, at least Leo is back on the market now!
