Leno Not Jaywalking Away from NBC

During a week that’s seen one late night TV twist after another, PopEater is floating a shocker: Jay Leno might leave NBC.
The site’s “exclusive” claims the former (and future) “Tonight Show” host is angry over the mess his network has created with him and Conan O’Brien, upset that he’s been made to look like the villain, worried about winning back an 11:35pm audience… and prepared to jump ship.
“Now that Conan has made it clear he is leaving the troubled network,” PopEater quotes a “TV insider” as saying, “Jay is considering doing the same.”
Really? After all of this, could it really be that Leno “might have one foot out the door as well”?
No.
A source close to Leno assures Gossip Cop he’s not leaving NBC. “He has a contract with NBC,” and is going to honor it.
Chin up, NBC. Looks like one at least one of your hosts will be sticking around.
