There’s a rumor going around today that Lenny Kravitz sold his New York penthouse apartment to Alicia Keys.

Reportedly, the “Empire State of Mind” singer bought the duplex in Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood for a cool $14.5 million.

But while everyone else is asking questions, Gossip Cop has the answer.

A source very close to Kravitz confirms to Gossip Cop that Keys indeed purchased the pad, which both Nicole Kidman and Denzel Washington have rented from Kravitz in the past.

As for the dollar amount, our source would only say that the reported figure is close to the actual sum.
