Lena Dunham thanked Niall Horan for praising her HBO series, “Girls,” by putting her own spin on the lyrics to One Direction’s “Perfect.”

Earlier this week, Horan tweeted that “Girls” is “absolutely hilarious,” adding, “love your work.” On Wednesday night, Dunham responded to the singer’s compliment on Instagram by rewriting “Perfect.” The actress’s version of the song goes: “But if you like having panic attacks up in hotel rooms / And if you like a lot of complex fear stuff around men and sex / If you like to do the things you’re too ashamed to admit to anyone but your therapist / Then baby, I’m perfect.”

The original lyrics are: “But if you like causing trouble up in hotel rooms / And if you like having secret little rendezvous / If you like to do the things you know that we shouldn’t do / Then baby, I’m perfect.” Dunham’s version, of course, is inspired by “Girls” storylines.

The fifth season of “Girls” is currently underway, and Dunham recently announced that the show will end with Season 6 in 2017. Meanwhile, One Direction is currently on hiatus, meaning Horan has plenty of time to catch up on television. In fact, shortly after complimenting Dunham’s HBO show, the singer wrote, “Literally haven’t left the couch all day. Watched telly, ate Chinese food, ate an Easter egg.” No word if he’s binged “Making A Murderer” yet.
