The couple was reunited at the LA premiere 12/15/10, after several months of being apart while he filmed On The Road in several countries and she filmed Monte Carlo. He picked her up and hugged her and told her “I love you angel” and the paps got it on video. It is all on You Tube. These two fell in love. Leighton broke off with Sebastian Stan right after Country Strong wrapped in April 2010. Garrett went to NYC for the COSTUME GALA in May for the purpose of seeing her. He was very jubilant about his success and how his life had changed at Comic Con in July 2010. They wanted to make sure it was the real thing and not just a movie romance. They are also private people. Garrett knows Rob. Leighton knows Camilla Belle who is friends with Rob. They know what he has been through with his private life invaded and the emphasis on that instead of his talent. Garrett is the next it guy. If Garrett had not met Tim McGraw on Friday Night Lights set, he would not have been suggested for Shana Feste’s movie Country Strong that Tim was in. Garrett would not have known he could sing and deliver such a touching performance. Leighton had been in LA and had moved to NYC around the time that Garrett had come back from filming Georgia Rule and Death Sentence down south.

Perhaps if Tim and Faith’s friend, Taylor Swift had been available, she would have gotten the part and Garrett would not have met Leighton. Garrett had a little crush on Olivia Wilde after Tron but she was still married. He has known Olivia since they were 18 but she was married at the time to an Italian prince, so nothing happened between them but friendship. Garrett was 26 when he met Leighton on the Country Strong set. He was ready for love. Leighton recorded “Someone To Love” in 2009 before meeting Garrett. It is about wanting true love and romance. She also talked about believing in the notion of having great chemistry, finding the right person and a once in a lifetime love. Timing is everything. Holding out for true love is always worth it.
