LeBron James “GMA” Video – Watch “Good Morning America” Interview!
LeBron James appeared on Thursday’s “GMA” to discuss his foundation and, of course, the Cleveland Cavaliers. Watch below!
The LeBron James Family Foundation works to give back to children in his hometown of Akron, through educational partnerships and various outreach programs. “What my foundation has been able to do has been unbelievable,” the superstar athlete told Robin Roberts. “Just to hit home, into our inner city, make sure our kids understand how important they are to us long-term, because they’re our future.”
James acknowledged, “I don’t have all the answers. I know that. But what I do know is going back into our communities — it starts there.” Naturally, the interview also included lots of Cavs talk. Reflecting on winning the championship, the NBA player said, “To be able to end our drought, to be able to uplift so many people… it was awesome.”
“It feels so good to be back with my hometown team and just commit for another three years on continu[ing] to build excellence on the court and off the floor,” James said of his new $100 million deal. “It’s a good time for my family, a good time for Cavaliers fans, and everyone else that’s a part of it.”
James further opened up about his new CNBC show, “Cleveland Hustle,” and his acting work in Trainwreck with Amy Schumer and Bill Hader. Check out the videos below!
