I think Leah was the most interesting, entertaining one on the panel…maybe to the chagrin of the ‘creators’ . If they’re concerned about ratings, why look to Leah and cut her? The woman that fancys herself the host and a few others bore me to tears. Leah needs her own show, and so does holly for that matter.

I hate this. Leah is my favorite, besides Sharon. Who the hell are we supposed to watch that are as entertaining as these ladies (besides Holly) on The Talk? Who could they possibly replace them with?

It’s interesting that Julie Chen is the person at that table that people are least able to relate to and yet she is getting rid of the others who actually have charisma. Leah was very funny most of the time, but I hated her foul mouth. If she could be funny without the foul language, I would love for her to stay. I don’t know how good the show will be without her though. I really love Holly Robinson Peete. I hate to see her go, if that is the case. I would like to see Sarah Gilbert though. She
doesn’t add anything to the show. I love love love Julie and Sharon. It’s gonna be interesting to see how it goes. I will definately watch and see.

I really enjoyed the dynamic that all these ladies brought to the show and thought that everyone appeared to get along and that Leah and Holly brought much of the comedy to the show, along with Sharon.
I really like Sara Gilbert and to those that think that she should leave, she won’t, as she is the reason this show is on the air in the first place, it was her concept and since it’s on CBS, there’s no way that Julie Chen will be off the show, with her husband Les Moonves running the network.

I will be sorry to see Leah and Holly not on the show and am disappointed in this decision.

It is clear Sara would not leave because she is a producer and Julie is married to Moonves, however, they were the least entertaining and Leah, Holly, and Sharon put the laughter, the tears, and the heart and soul into this talk show. The new dynamic will be an epic fail, as I stated in another post on GC about Kris Jenner replacing Holly and Leah, more people have things in common with Holly and Leah than with Kris and this is one show that will not be watched by me. It is a shame. I give my best to Leah and Holly if her contract is not renewed they could have their own show and that is one I would definitely watch.

Have to admit I only watched The Talk a handful of times, but when I did it was Leah that made it watchable. She obviously wasn’t blowing the right people at CBS, but Julie Chen sure is. She is the one that needs to go. It’s bad enough she hosts Big Brother, no one needs to see and hear her everyday.

It’s obvious Leah was “probably” not asked back because Julie Chen is most likely intimidated by Leah’s uncanny ability to better entertain the audience, is liked more, and is better looking than her. I can understand her jealousy; we all have it from time to time. Now, let’s get real here: the network needs to put Julie in a board room or behind the scenes giving orders, anything else but in front of the camera~~she has no show business talent and is no match for Leah with or without a script. She’s as exciting as a table.

I think she’s as good as Lucille Ball was but the dumb, dumb networks just can’t seem to find her a decent writer and show. Love, Love, Leah, such a huge disatrous move to not invite her back. We do not need another “The View”, they bore me to tears. They (View) are too political and often times hostile, The Talk could have a few tense moments, but Leah and Sharon could get a laugh out of it and that is what makes them great.

I am so disappointed with this decision. This show has been appointment tv for me. I watch every day with my mother and even though there is a 30 year age difference between us, we both loved Leah and Holly both. I doubt we will watch again, especially if Kris Jenner is there. We are fed up with the Kardashians, their 15 minutes are about up.

I really liked watching the show. I enjoyed the information they shared and I thought the entire group had
chemistry. Then a few weeks ago they discussed an article that appeared in a celebrity magazine about Arnold S., Maria Schriver and the woman he had an affair with and her comments that were published in this magazine. I could not believe what I heard and saw on that particular show. They basically were saying that this woman had no right to make comments because she was not a celebrity…Leah and Sharon were the most vocal about this woman. In fact they said something like, who is she to give an interview? Like she is the celebrity.

Ladies you are not above the rest of us. You insulted your audience along with the thousands of people watching your show…as if we have no business making comments because we are average people, not on TV or in the industry.

Your noses were so high out of joint my TV just could not focuse on your faces, just did not fit on the TV screen.

Leah loved you on the show King of Queens. Leah, leave your Mom alone. You reminded me of a spoiled brat that I was friends with as a child. On your next show, if there is any interaction between you and the audience, leave Mom home. She seemed like a sweet lady and did not need the hassel from you.

Julie, should be a little embarrassed, that she back stabed Leah, and I guess Holly, as they dumped her also. I watched The Talk mainly for the Leah laughs and Holly’s as well. They are both cute, quick, and clever. Sharon acts like she’s drunk half the time although the combination of the entire group is what made this show. Producers are fools to let Leah and Holly go. Before all else, I watched The Talk for about 2 weeks before I decided it wasn’t for me and took it off my DVR record schedule. It looked like a poor attempt to compete with The View and it was boring. Everyone was trying too hard. It was a strangely put together panel and Julie Chen was doing a bad job of trying to emulate Barbara Walters. She came off as having zero personality/appeal. I’m surprised the show is still on the air. I’m guessing they will give it 1 more season, since Chen is married to Moonves, and then they’ll cancel it. If Kris Kardashian is the type they are considering as replacements, they are going waaaay off in the wrong direction. The only way they will get the show to survive is to wipe the entire panel, including Chen, and start again, maybe with Holly moderating. I’d keep Sharon. Scratch the rest of them. And get new producers.

sounds like you have some serious issues of jealously and racism going on that this panel nor this show can address or fix. You need to remember Holly was just an employee and had to follow the format that was set for her. She was to add color, humor and autism awareness. I am truly disappointed that Holly and Leah are not returning. Both provided unique points of view and contributed to making The Talk an interesting show, though Leah was a bit “brash” for my taste, at times. The chemistry between the five hosts was very good, in my opinion. It will be interesting to see if the CBS brass can find another group of five that will be as interesting and entertaining.

I really have been upset with CBS for taking off the air 2 soaps that have been on for years & generations without giving us the people a right to weigh in on it. They claim its ratings but thats crap cause I know many people watched, taped, dvrd, tivod the shows and watched them faithfully. It was crushing when they replaced those beloved soaps with this show & the game show that follows. It took a long time before I started watching this show & the reason I have been watching it is because Leah is so lively and fun & Holly & Mrs. O too. Sarah is so shy and reserved that Leah and Mrs. O are the ones that bring her out of her shell even the little bit that she does on the show. Julie is also very reserved and more informational than personality. I will no longer be dvring this show daily without Leah as she was the LIFE of this show & it will only bore people without her. I hope CBS gets a clue and realizes that whatever happeened they better fix it quick or no one will be watching Julie & whomever is left. It almost appears from watching the show that Julie is jealous of the friendships between Leah, Holly & Sarah when they talk about birthday parties or hanging out at each others houses on the weekends etc. This is not going to make you more popular.

I also watched the show EVERYDAY. The show will not be the same and I don’t think I can watch it anymore. I tried watching it today and was very disappointed. The show was so boring. I hope they bring back Leah and Holly!!!!

Wow!!! What a surprise. Got all excited when I got home because I was going to watch the first day of the new season. Seriously?? Really?? You fired Leah and Holly?? Are you freaking nuts? If I would have had to pick someone to “not come back” for the new season, it would have been Sara. The first year was great, cast had good chemistry onstage, for the most part. I haven’t even gotten past the first part of the show and had to voice my opinion. You had something good going on; now you don’t. You now have one less viewer of The Talk. Back to The View I go! I won’t watch anything Kate Gosselin is on. Kris Jenner doesn’t thrill me either, but after watching one episode of Kate when she was still married and the way she treated her husband made my swear off anything she was on, including Dancing with the Stars! I feel sorry for her kids.

Leah always said what I would have said or thought. I hate the way Julie thinks her stories are so funny or that she’s so cute…NOT! She never adds anything to the conversations and neither does Sarah. I did like the friendship b/t her and Leah! I believe “The Talk” has made a HUGE mistake not bringing Leah and Holly back to the show. I thought all five girls had very good chemistry together. My opinion is the show won’t last another season, especially without Leah. I always made sure I recorded the show so I wouldn’t miss a day. I have watched it the first two days of the new season and I have taken it off of my recordings. Hopefully it wasn’t jealousy on Julie’s part that Leah and Holly were not asked back. If so, she is the one that loses in the end because I believe this will hurt their ratings.

Leah was a little annoying, but look what they’ve got now? They are totally boring. I too left The View to watch The Talk, and am going to take it off my schedule for records. As for the “baby machine,” on The View… I CAN’T STAND HER! And the worst insult by Ms. Chen and her husband, is that they aren’t even mentioning Leah or Holly. Why? What a bummer!

I was completely devastated when I heard that Leah and Holly would not be back on The Talk…..I thought they were hilarious and helped to show women that they can be good mothers and working women…..I love Sharon and felt that there was a lot of good chemistry between Sara and Leah….I have seen the new cast members and feel that there is no real chemistry there…The show’s replacement co-hosts are boring to me.. I enjoyed the show with all five women. I have watched the view since the beginning and think this show finally gave us something different. Leah Remini and Holly Pete are my favorites and I looked forward to seeing themgive their opinions. They are so down to earth, but hilarious with it. Sara may have been the one who thought up the show and Julie’s husband may be a big ‘mucky muck’ with CBS but they have no personality!!! The shown now lacks interest because they are two of the dullest women you could ever have as hosts. Sharon is great but not available for a few weeks. CBS I think you owe it to your fans and to Holly and Leah to say why they were not invited back……big mistake! From reading all the other comments left on this page alone you have a bunch of angry fans. It’s not too late to invite them back and save your show. Otherwise the ratings will kiss your show goodbye in a few weeks with your more than dulol cast that I for one cannot relate to in any way, shape or form. I for one will now take the View more seriously.

I will no longer be watching The Talk. I love Leah and without her the show does not hold my interest for me. I dislike the replacement very much.

I loved the talk until I tuned in for the new season, and found two of my favorite people on the show would not be returning. At the beginning of the first season Julie said that all of the women on the panel were friends both on and off the show. Sounds like that was completely false. I think these two women were stabed in the back by women who were suppose to be friends. Why have you not made a statement to the fans as to why holly, leah will not be returning for the second season? Doesn’t sound like there was any kind of friendship going on there.
I know that I will no longer be watching the show. Shame on CBS.

I dont want to assume i know the situation at “the talk”….but WHY would they fire or “let go” two of THE most entertaining and carismatic women on the show (Leah and Holly)??? I just HAVE to say that i have taken the show OFF of my dvr due to the fact that i am NOT entertained in the least!! I have never missed an episode because of the fact that i have never seen another show on TV that just has a group of women sitting around talking about average everyday topics (UNLIKE the view who has opinions on politics etc…annoying). Leah could be very funny. Unfortunately she was often loud and made every show, every interview, and every segment about LEAH, LEAH, LEAH. It was obnoxious. I did like her interactions with Sarah, but sometimes it came across like she was constantly picking on Sarah. Not surprised Leah was let go. Wouldn’t be surprised either if Sarah had a say in that decision.

The one person I really wanted to see fired is Sharon Osbourne. She’s a lousy co-host and a lousy interviewers. Inappropriate things always come out of her mouth in the name of “comedy”, and she sometimes act inappropriately with the male guests, ie groping them. Sharon also tends to talk about herself during interview segments. And can she please stop making those stupid heart-shape hands gesture every time she walks out on stage? So FAKE.

I like Holly. Don’t know why she was let go. Holly’s a lot better than the token black woman they currently have on the show now.

Watching Sarah on the show is like watching paint dry. But she’s one of the producers so it’s not likely that she will be fired.

I have watched The Talk from the very 1st episode. I thought it was going to be like The View which I do NOT enojoy watching. I was pleasantly surprised when it was nothing like The View. I DVR The Talk daily and can’t wait to get home and watch it. Now that Leah and Holly were taken off the show, I find it very dull and boring. I think Leah and Holly made the show. Big mistake getting rid of Leah and Holly. This show really annoyed me at first, but I stuck with it and enjoyed watching Sara come out of her shell and laughed at/with Holly and Leah, but I still can’t stand Julie. I agree with you Pam. The panel was well balanced as it was now it is not interesting, and I will not be eager to watach. I personnally do not like the addition of the comedian, she is a loud mouth. It is odvious that Sarah has gotten more confidence this year and is trying to talk more but she is still not interesting.

I don’t appreciate the current replacements on the show. I’m sick of the Kardashians, and Underwood is a bit too vulgar for The Talk venue. They may be okay as guests, but NOT hosts. If Sharon does not return soon, the show will be in more trouble. (Please don’t bring Kate G. on as a host). What a tacky move; no explanation as to why two of the best personalities are no longer present. I will only watch “The Talk” when you have a guest I want to see, maybe.

I totally agree!! The chemistry of the 5 original host is unbeatable. The new ones just seem like permanent guest.I used to look forward to watching and seeing what Leah and Holly would be up to next now I don’t watch much or if all anymore.Bring Leah and Holly back, I miss them!!!!

I would be interested in why ABC didn’t ask them back I thought all of them together were great I use to laugh all the time with Holly and Leah, it was fun! I tried to watch the show without them and I just don’t like it anymore, they need to come back to the show….

I started watching The Talk in the beginning after CBS cancelled my beloved AS THE WORLD TURNS. At first I was resentful but found that I liked the show. I didn’t have a favorite but when Leah and Holly were not on the show for a few days I noticed it had lost its zip. I felt like they were a family, doing things together outside of the show. I wonder if Sara had something to do with Leah leaving because she always gave her a hard time, but she always showed her she cared about her too. And yes Leah was loud and sometimes I didn’t agree with her opinions but then this is true of everyone. Time will tell if it will last.

I am done also. Since Leah & Holly have left the show and Sharon is hardly on, I don’t care about watching. I hope the station gets the hint and brings back the original cast.

It amazes me that so many people actually liked Leah. To me, she was the most obnoxious, spoiled and intolerant people I have ever had the displeasure of watching. Holly was just conceited. I love Sharon and like Julie. Poor Sara seemed to have been stuck with trying desperately to politely put up with Leah’s nonsense. Maybe now that Leah is gone, I will watch the show more often. The reason I would switch channels was that she irritated me so much.

It’s funny how they took Leah off the show and replaced her with ANOTHER comedian. Leah was much better!!!! I def. liked Holly much better than her replacement. She is annoying!!

I think that all the original woman brought something different to the table. They each have strengths and weakness- meaning we could like and dislike them all at times. But it was how they worked together that made the show unique. Making changes ultimately changes the show. And face it, in this world right now with this economy people don’t want to turn The Talk on and see change.

wow….i must be clueless…..i’ve been wondering when leah and holly were coming back…..i thought maybe they were on vacation together as they are close friends….and finally…..FINALLY….i decided to google leah to see what’s up…..& i’m upset…..those two were my favorite….but especially leah….she cracked me up….& i loved her and hollys friendship….i really thought the chemistry between the entire group was great….& i really have not been enjoying the show….but did not know that they were GONE….not happy :<<<<<

Well, letting those 2 go from the show, has just lost the 2 of us from watching the show. The combination was good with the 5 of them, but I guess Julie thought they were down grading her. I will never watch that show again. Maybe not Big Brother again either since Julie is the host of that show. Just like “The View”, I will never watch that show again either. I don’t like that combination at all.

I like the show with Leah and Holly. They can get rid ot Sharon Osborne, she is not good at all. I would replace her and keep the others.

there is a lot of people not watching the talk now i clean now this is extra time for me the show sticks if you like all the teeth showing when they smile looks like a tooth paste comm. we like leah back on but you wont do it so your show wont last long just like rosie taken off the veiw i wont watch that no more you need people on there so you can laugh we have not alot to laugh at these days but my husband always liked too so i hope sharron and leah go together and start a new show after a while there will not be nothing to watch on daytime with all soaps going it seems that when they get a good show on they take it off.

Leah and Holly should have a sitcom together. They are real, smart and funny and gorgeous (but Leah wears too much make-up, imo) The Talk is lame without them. Cheryl looks like a female Wesley Snipes and is unfunny. Sharon is batshit crazy but I love her. Julie and Sarah are smart but lack personality. Hope this show dies real soon and something better comes along.

I also won’t be watching since Leah and Holly ‘were removed’. Sarah is a one-dimensional, vegan prude and Julie is witless. Leah and Holly are responding to this publicly with dignity. I do hope a new show is developed that is centered around one or both of them.

I am so…..dissappointed since the humor and the heart has gone from the show. Yes! Leah brought the humor and Holly had the heart to be down for any and everything. It was my favorite talk show but now it’s a turn off (and that’s what I did – turned it OFF, no longer recording and watching). You ladies really had a great chemistry balance but now you literally suck. The View wasn’t all that great but now I welcome it. To me, you’ve turned into a washed up talk show. Throw in the towel and move aside. You should be the next show cancelled.

The Talk is not the same without Leah and Holly. I enjoyed Leah’s “I don’t care what people think” attitude and I could relate with Holly because I have a son with autism.

Why didn’t they get rid of Sarah Gilbert (who adds nothing to the dhow) & Julie Chen Although about Julie I think that her husband produces the show which sucks. I loved Leah. The best thing about that show. I have only been tuning in to see if she would be back. Now after reading the above, lost my interest in the show. How bland it will be without her.

The original cast was a hit! Good mix of attitudes and personalities. Everyone balanced each other out. I have to say I no longer watch the show. This show will soon pass as well. The world can’t leave well enough alone. And Julie, open your eyes!

This used to be one of my favorite shows and I had it DVR’d. Now that Holly and especially Leah are gone it is incredibly boring. Leah was the star by far and now it is just a snooze fest. What a shame. A once great show now sucks!

I really miss Leah and think the show has gone down hill greatly without her. Big mistake getting rid of Leah. I didn’t care for Holly but think the replacements for both ladies are terrible. As for Julie she is only there because of who she’s married to . I do like Sara though and think she shows a lot of compassion and probably would talk more if she could get a word in over some of those other loud mouths. Mrs. O is the best one on there and the only reason I tune in occasionally when there is nothing better on .

Leah was terrific she made that show. Was she getting to much attention? I don’r bother watching that show anymore. I’m sure a lot of other people feel the same way. They should have a show of their own . Leah, Holly, and some other new comers that are also talented.I will continue to watch Leah on King of Queens.

I think Leah didn’t let anyone else speak, and if they tried, she butted in too much before they could finish….just saying. She’s a beauty and good comedic actress….but on this particular show, I am not sad to see her go. She’ll move on to something else. And as for Julie, she is a class act. Very much needed on this panel. Like, Sharon Osborne. Could listen to her talk all day, love the accent. And I think Sarah brings a balance to the show. I haven’t watched in a long time, so I am just getting caught up on who left etc. I am trying to find out the new replacements.

That’s why I liked her for all her annoyances,, interruptions, being boisterous and being tough! Bring her back!

I did too. At first I liked it because they all shared in the conversation not compet4e with each others stories. I thought it was different. I never understood why Julie had to be the one to always come out first or be the lead one on the shiow. I don’t that is necessary. They all had their own graces to bring to the table.

I agree with you. Holly brought a lot of heart to the show as Leah brought a lot of laughter. She is straight forward and honest. I miss them both.

I agree, everyone cowtow’s to Julie because her husband owns the network. Leah was loud, but honest and had a heart. Holly was in my opinion a good example of a mother. Replacing them with Sheryl Underwood was a big mistake. She is 3 times louder than Leah ever was and says more cuss words than should ever be allowed on a daytime show! All she thinks or talks about is men and sex and not in an appropriate way in my opinion for a daytime show, and Iesha isn’t much better. I understand they had to put some color on the show to not look racist, but they could’ve chosen better!
