Stutterer Lazaro Arbos “Loved” By Judges After Muse Cover on American Idol (VIDEO)

Lazaro Arbos continues to defy the odds and overcome his stutter on “American Idol.”

On Wednesday’s show, the judges unanimously praised the contestant’s cover of Muse’s “Feeling Good” — and the crowd went wild.

“Goodness me, if the audience here tonight is a good indication of America’s vote, we’re gonna be hearing from you very soon,” said Keith Urban, adding, “I love the way you connect with everyone.”

Nick Minaj agreed, saying, “The people, obviously, they went crazy for you. It’s almost like you got an album out already.”

“I loved it,” she added. ”I love you.”

Randy Jackson said Arbos proved he’s “in it to win it,” and Mariah Carey noted, “I was excited for you and proud for you.”

“It impresses me how you just throw yourself into whatever song you’re doing,” said the judge. “Whatever adversity you’ve had to overcome, you put in your music.”

    It’s a fantastic performance, but I’d say this closer to the Sinatra version than Muse. A nit-pick, but it’s something that should be known.

    The guy sounds like he is mumbling through most of his songs. I get that people are inspired by his story, but his voice just isn’t that great and he shouldn’t be making it week to week on a sympathy vote.
