Hernandez is coming off receiving the first perfect score of the season on “Dancing With The Stars.” As Gossip Cop noted last week, Hernandez danced a a flawless jazz routine to Michael Jackson’s “The Way You Make Me Feel” on “Cirque du Soleil” night, earning her the 30 out of 30 points. Afterwards, Julianne Hough exclaimed that Jackson was the “King of Pop but you are Queen of the Ballroom.” And Carrie Ann Inaba expressed that while “hard to emulate” Jackson, Hernandez executed ““every move perfectly.”
For Hernandez, 2016 has been her “most memorable year,” having recently competed in the Rio Olympics and winning the gold as a member of the U.S. Women’s Gymnastics team. She also won a silver in the balance beam. Her year continued to be memorable after nailing her latest routine.
For her paso doble, Inaba felt, “You are a warrior goddess.” Hough said, “That was fantastic… You have so much strength.” And Tonioli exclaimed, “You really are an irrepressible force of nature, incredible dancer.” As a result, Hernandez and Chmerkovskiy got 25 out of 30 points.
