Laurie Hernandez ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Eras Night Routine Called “Amazing” (VIDEO)
Laurie Hernandez and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy once more gave an “amazing” performance on Monday’s “Dancing With The Stars.” The two performed a quickstep to The Chiffons’s “One Fine Day” on the show’s “Eras Night.” Watch the video below.
After a couple of weeks of losing her position at the top or close to it on the leader board, Hernandez wowed again with her latest routine. After a disappointing performance during Week Five, the Olympic gold medalist, who was the first contestant to get a perfect score, returned last week on Latin Night with a somewhat better salsa. Bruno Tonioli felt she “killed it,” while Julianne Hough called Hernandez “phenomenal.” Carrie Ann Inaba expressed, “You are the most powerful performer.” Meanwhole, guest judge Pitbull noted, “What you brought on the dance floor was amazing.” For her and Chmerkovskiy’s routine, they earned a solid 37 out of 40 points.
This time around, Inaba said, “I thought it was really great.” Hough offered, “That was amazing.” Tonioli added, “You really light up the room.” And Len Goodman related, “You gave it your all… but you rushed it.” Still, he felt they did a “good job.” For Hernandez and Chmerkovskiy’s quickstep, they received a total of 34 out of 40 points.
