Lauren Conrad Walks Out Of Bachelorette Party Dinner To Protest Anti-Gay Policy
Lauren Conrad walked out of her own bachelorette party dinner on Thursday to protest the restaurant’s alleged anti-gay policy.
The lifestyle and fashion entrepreneur kicked off her celebratory weekend festivities in Cabo San Lucas at The Office on the Beach — with former co-star Lo Bosworth and other pals — but abruptly left the venue.
“The Office in Cabo does not allow same sex couples to participate in couple games. Had to walk out.
#equality #StopTheHate,” she explained on Twitter.
Bosworth took to Twitter to share similar sentiments, writing, “If you support
#equalityforall don’t eat at The Office in Cabo San Lucas.”
Conrad had started the night on a happy note.
Before the incident she took to Instagram to share a scenic photo, which she captioned, “Let the games begin… #donttellmrtell” (see below).
On Friday, she added a snapshot of an adorable cookie in the shape of an engagement ring, writing, “Almost too cute to eat… Almost” (see below).
As Gossip Cop previously reported, Conrad got engaged to law school graduate William Tell in 2013.
