Lamar Odom Traded to Dallas; Khloe Kardashian “Sad” About It

Lamar Odom is headed to Texas.

A couple of days after the NBA nixed a deal to send Khloe Kardashian’s husband to New Orleans for Chris Paul, the one-time Los Angeles Laker will now be suiting up for the World Champion Dallas Mavericks.

Lamar has not said a word on Twitter since it seemed he would remain in Los Angeles, but Kardashian tweeted early this morning, “I am blessed and happy anywhere as long as I am with my family!”

Still, she tweeted to a follower later: “we are all sad but positive energy gets you farther then negative.”

In exchange for Odom, the Lakers will get the Mavericks’ first 2012 draft choice.

    People come on here to interact, sometimes regardless of who the actual celebrity is. People are allowed to share their disdain, as well as their like of a celebrity. Saying people should just simply “not watch” their trashy show does not make it go away. That would be reactive, not proactive. That’s also not quite how the Nielsen ratings work. The person with the petition above isn’t going to go posting about the boycott on non-Kardashian-related websites. How much sense would that make? Gossip Cop does a respectable job with their posts so this is a more respectable place to post as well. If I want to say I think Lohan is an idiot, I can. If I want to say Jay Z wanting to pay more taxes is awesome, I can. That isn’t going overboard to trash or support anyone. No one is swearing up a storm or making threats. Keep it classy, kids.

    I think you are right…this may be a blessing in disguise for Khole. Not to mention marriages in CA for the most part do not work. Not to mention the travel distance between TX and CA is not that far. I say rent a house or and condo in TX and when the season is over fly back home to CA. Kobe released a statement he is very upset about Lamar’s trade to Dallas as well.

    I think that her and Lamar will be fine in Dallas; I think her mother will have issues, though. Lamar seems like a decent guy, and he had a rough time growing up. That $17 million dollar salary is probably the reason for the trade, not anything the Kardashians have done, or haven’t done, for that matter.

    I totally agree with everyone that is saying this trade will most likely be a blessing for the Odom family. It gets them away from Khloe’s mom who has, in my opinion, too much of a say in their lives. Hey, if anyone else wondering where Rob is going to end up? Wasn’t he living with Khloe?
