Lady Gaga Tackles “Hot Topics” on ‘The View’ [VIDEOS]

Lady Gaga, as Gossip Cop reported, co-hosted “The View” today, and her black-and-white houndstooth ensemble (skirt, hat, sunglasses and even note cards) did not disappoint.

The singer sat down with Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, and Barbara Walters to discuss an array of “Hot Topics,” including the passing of Amy Winehouse, Gaga’s drug use, the late Clarence Clemons, health warnings about hot dogs, Tim Gunn‘s remark that Hillary Clinton is confused about her gender, and an Oregon woman who was bounced from a store because she was dressed in a bikini.

About Winehouse, Gaga said, “I’m so devastated, so sad,” and that she could barely speak for the first 48 hours after the singer’s death.

Lady Gaga also noted that the life of a star can be “very lonely,” and shared that she likes to cook. The eccentric star even challenged Behar to a “meatball cook off.”

While Gaga said she no longer does hard drugs, she acknowledged she’s “part of the green club.”

When the topic turned to the health hazards of eating hot dogs, Gaga said, “I do diet — eat really healthful.”

And when everyone discussed Tim Gunn‘s comment that Hillary Clinton seems confused about her gender with all her pantsuits, Gaga chimed in, “He’s being a bully… Hillary Clinton has more important things to worry about than her hemline.”
