Lady Gaga Announces Movie: Terry Richardson Documentary On Life, ARTPOP

Lady Gaga had a special Christmas Day announcement for fans: photographer pal Terry Richardson is making a movie about her.

The singer tweeted, “Merry Christmas little monsters! Terry Richardson @Terry_World is making a #LadyGagaMOVIE documenting my life, the creation of ARTPOP + you!”

She added, “Thank you for being so patient waiting for my new album ARTPOP I hope this gets u excited for things to come. I love you with all my heart!”

“I love you @Terry_World thank you for believing in me and my fans, I have looked up to you and your work for so long, its a dream come true!” continued Gaga.

While details about the project are scarce, the singer did clarify, “Not a special, not a concert video. a movie.”

    There is way too much of these pop singer documentary films coming out. I guess it’s good for the fans, but it’s a little annoying that so many people are doing it now in my opinion.

    Lady Gaga, please stop wearing fur. Like millions of admirers of your music and fashion sense I don’t understand why you continue to promote this cruel and unnecessary practice. Don’t you understand how difficult it is for fans to reconcile your vision of a “kinder world” with an industry that butchers tens of thousands of animals after “growing” them in tiny cages? If you are the visionary/revolutionary you say you are, surely you must foresee the end of this barbaric practice. And then will your most lasting legacy be that of animal abuse? After all, tens of millions of your fans follow your example.

    Please don’t equate the fur industry with commercial meat production. The latter can be
    justified and will always exist to feed humans, and it is only right to utilize the entire animal for the leather by-products, etc. The fur industry feeds no one. And finally, please don’t assume that everyone who objects to fur is a member of PETA. One does not have to belong to that organization to be saddened by the inhumane treatment of four-legged creatures.

    Seriously?! A movie?! About Lady Gaga?! It seems that someone tries to keep her “carrier” going, scared that her influence to young generation may fade. It’s a real tragedy that teenage girls are influenced by this creature.
    There are so many important role models who should be influencing young generation and its up to us to make sure our kids looking up to right people. But why bother right?

    Interesting! I think Lady Gaga is a great singer-songwriter and it’d be nice to know more about how she goes about with her concert, philosophy and daily life.

    You literally just go to a gossip blog just to nag about your PETA crap? Yeah, it is terrible how they treat animals when making fur, but you literally make a big thing pulled out of your butt that wearing leather is going to make fans and youth want to be a butcher … That is just LOW. Do you have anything better to do than make up lies on the Internet making people want to hate lady gaga just because she decided to wear fur? Come on, everyone wears fur, it’s a fashion statement.
