Lady Gaga, Metallica Grammys Video: Watch “Moth Into Flame” Grammy Awards Performance!
Lady Gaga rocked out with Metallica to “Moth Into Flame” at Sunday’s 2017 Grammys. Watch below!
It was originally announced in January that Metallica would be one of the acts to perform at the 59th annual Grammy Awards. It was then revealed just days ago that the iconic group would be joined on stage by Gaga. The Grammys are known for featuring inventive collaborations, and this team-up certainly fits under that category.
This marks the third year in a row Gaga has performed at the Grammy Awards. As Gossip Cop reported at the time, Gaga did a tribute to the late David Bowie at last year’s event. That performance came a week after she sang the National Anthem at the Super Bowl. Now this year, Gaga is following her Super Bowl Halftime Show, which took place exactly a week ago.
Gaga is a six-time Grammy Award winner, but she isn’t up for any honors tonight. The pop star’s most recent album, Joanne, came out in late October, weeks after the deadline for the 2017 ceremony. But the record will be eligible for the 2018 nominations.
Metallica, meanwhile, went into tonight nominated in the Best Rock Song category for “Hardwired.” The honor is a songwriter’s award, and the track was penned by members James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich. Check out video of their Grammy performance with Lady Gaga below!
