Lady Gaga to Make Movie Acting Debut in Machete Kills

Lady Gaga will make her big-screen acting debut in Machete Kills, the star-studded sequel to 2010′s Machete.

Director Robert Rodriguez made the announcement on Twitter on Thursday: “I just finished working with @LadyGaga on @MacheteKills, she kicked SO MUCH ASS! Holy Smokes. Blown away!”

Rodriguez then posted the official poster featuring Gaga as her character, La Chameleon.

Gaga herself confirmed the news shortly thereafter, tweeting, “Yes its true, I will be making my debut as an actress in the amazing MACHETE KILLS BY @RODRIGUEZ IM SO EXCITED!!! AH! Filming was insane.”

Mother Monster joins a huge cast that already includes Danny Trejo as Machete, along with Jessica Alba, Sofia Vergara, Amber Heard, Mel Gibson, Vanessa Hudgens, Michelle Rodriguez and Charlie Sheen as the President of the United States.

That’s a pretty interesting collection of people.

    I was really excited for this movie, still am, but not sure how I feel about Gaga. She might be a good fit for it though! The first one was really good but didn’t do amazing at the box office, I wonder if this’ll make it big!
