Lady Gaga “I Want Your Love” — Watch Tom Ford Fashion Show Video Here!
Lady Gaga’s cover of “I Want Your Love” premiered on Friday as the soundtrack to a one-of-a-kind Tom Ford fashion show. Watch below!
The designer’s spring/summer 2016 line is presented in a new music video directed by Nick Knight. As models strut their stuff in a dance party-like setting, Gaga sings about wanting love. She makes an appearance as one of the models, and while she wears a number of different outfits, one is nothing more than an open shirt exposing her bra.
Later on, Gaga flashes her butt, before writhing around on the floor in her panties. By the end, she’s topless and holding a jacket up to her breasts. Gaga tweeted about the project, “The first time Tom Ford and Nick Knight worked together, I got to be there,” with a crying a emoji.
The video serves as Ford’s first-ever “Fashion Week film,” which he decided to make instead of hosting a typical in-person runway show and presentation. He explained to Women’s Wear Daily, “Instead of having a traditional show this season, I decided to try something new. I wanted to think about how to present a collection in a cinematic way that was designed from its inception to be presented online.”
And Knight posted on Instagram, “I’m delighted to announce the launch of my fashion film for @tomford – pleased he’s pioneering this innovative alternative to the runway. The film shows the incredible new S/S 16 collection and features the wonderfully talented @ladygaga.” “I Want Your Love,” of course, was originally recorded by Chic and released in 1978. Check out the video below, and tell us what you think of Gaga’s take! Note: Video no longer available.
