CLAIM: Lady Gaga Calls Adele “Fat Cow”

“Since Adele swept the Grammys, Lady Gaga is worried that her star is fading,” begins a piece in Star titled, “Green-Eyed Gaga.”

According to a supposed “source” for the tab, “Gaga feels that her career may have plateaued and that she’s been eclipsed by Adele.”

The purported insider goes on to claim that Gaga is “consumed with jealousy,” and “slams Adele all the time, even referring to her as that ‘fat cow.’”

Wow.

We’re certainly familiar with Star’s penchant for fabricating feuds between celebrities, but to refer to Adele in such a nasty way and attribute it to Lady Gaga is low even by the tabloid’s standards.

Gaga is a huge fan of Adele, and has even spoken about how they’ve exchanged e-mails expressing “our mutual love.”

And the “Poker Face” singer, who started her own foundation to stop bullying, publicly denounced fans on Twitter who posted insults about Adele when she surpassed Gaga last fall in worldwide record sales.

At the time Lady Gaga said, ”Anyone that would say anything negative about Adele, I wouldn’t support… I love her immensely.”

In any case, a rep for Gaga tells Gossip Cop that Star’s story is “completely untrue.”

    Who knows what Lady Gaga says behind the scenes. She is arrogant and is a desperate fame and attention whore. She lies and manipulates through her teeth. She has shown her hypocritical ways and statements so many times. Gaga definitely does feel threatened. Her “album of the decade” got sh!t on by 21 and “the best singer in the industry” as Gaga referred to herself, got eclipsed by Adele. Lmao.

    Your arguments against Gaga sound like ignorance spewing from a typical hater. Lady Gaga and Adele make completely different music. Adele makes thoughtful adult contemporary ballads and Lady Gaga makes mainstream dance/pop. I don’t think either could genuinely feel threatened by the other. This story is obviously bullshit, which is why it makes it even more obvious that you’re one of those haters looking for any excuse to belittle Gaga’s success, even if its an article as blatantly fabricated as this.

    Obviously this is fake. While it’s true Adele has an unimaginable voice that is a huge talent, it’s not like Gaga doesn’t have any abilities. She is a good singer. Adele is a one in a billion singer, with her rich and powerful voice, but Gaga is rare as well. So haters of Gaga, you can just shut up. And anyways, Gaga wouldn’t say something like this after she started an anti-bullying movement.
    Plus Star is known to fabricate things, as well as the fact that Gaga and Adele are, quite simply, friends. Also, people who say Gaga copies people, she doesn’t. She has her own unique style of pop which has been derived from other artists, it’s true, but is blended and touched up by her only. And if you don’t like Gaga, then why do you have to post it everywhere? Just don’t listen to her music or whatever, but don’t try to turn others against her too.
    Her songs are her own as well.
