Lady Gaga is the victim of a death hoax.

The singer is the center of a phony rumor being spread thanks to “RIP Lady Gaga” and related terms trending on Twitter on Wednesday.

The rumor is 100% fake.

Gaga is NOT dead.

She’s alive and well.

The hoax seems to have begun with social media users calling Gaga a “Really Inspiring Person” in conjunction with the one-year anniversary of her “Born This Way” album release.

Of course, this is not the first time she’s been the subject of disgusting death rumors.

Hopefully the trend of “killing” celebrities online will soon run out of steam.
