Lady Gaga Bodyguard Takes Down Overzealous Fan in Hotel Lobby (VIDEO)

VIDEO

(YouTube)

Lady Gaga is currently in Romania and seems to be having a nice time.

We’re not sure the same can be said for one overzealous fan who approached the singer in her hotel — and got slammed to the ground by her bodyguards.

In YouTube footage of the incident, the gentleman runs into the lobby to get an autograph from Gaga, only to be thrown against the revolving door.

Gaga is momentarily startled but quickly led outside, where she’s greeted by a sea of fans and cameras.

The autograph seeker was shaken up but not seriously hurt.

This is what professional executive protection specialists look like. Calm, cool, collected. No posturing, no attitude, no hesitation. So many entertainers have died in these exact situations. This detail was awesome. They used precisely the proper amount of force, assessed the true situation and moved on. Maybe the Hip Hop world should take note.

that is overkill for an excited fan just looking for an autograph. he held out a piece of paper, not a weapon. and to see him laying on the floor with his hands over his head to protect himself makes me sad. i hate these a-hole celebs.

soooooo……no no one can get in front of her? I love how she just walks away like nothing happened? It was just a piece of paper.

  • D. Martin

Man I agree. That was totally cool and calculated. Didn’t miss a beat. And the way that man approached…that was scary.

  • Peaceoutalyssa

He looked more like a paprazzi or somthing

  • Hollywoody5000

You are obviously demented & in need of mental help

  • Hollywoody5000

I find this GaGa character totally repulsive – even more so now. What a slap in the face to one of the people who helps pay this creep and keep her in the media. I think if her IQ were known, it would be about 2 and that would explain her disgustingly distasteful life. I don’t think she knows any better than to think people admired her “dress” made of raw red meat. She is a very deranged person.

I wouldn’t doubt if it was set up to look that way…

Both the guards did ABSOLUTELY Professional work and should receive huge bonuses for their actions. Their reactions were instant and strategic. You cannot wait to ask questions when someone is running towards your client from a concealed, or in this case not pre-swept area. (He bolted through a door at the last second. He was not already in the lobby like registered guests would be.)

  • Gool

How is this supposed to be a slap in the face?

  • Gool

    How is she an a-hole?

  • Gool

What’s she supposed to do freak out about it? She had fans waiting outside for her.

The security probably did realize that or care because he was waving it n the air.

Clearly he was aggressive and not well-meaning.

Multiple Gaga hater account detected. Stop wasting your life.

Sorry, but that was scary, and if it were anyone they would immediately scream and call for help. Gaga did the right thing – moved on.

You seem more deranged than her, though.

  • Chloe

I am not a big fan of Yuck Yuck…I mean Ga ga but…the security was on point. That was pretty scary for a big man to run up to someone like that, all we saw was a piece of paper but he could have had a concealed weapon met for her harm..

  • Cesarcabral1969

THIS IS ABUSIVE USED OF FORCE BY SOMEONE WITHOUT ANY AUTORITHY

if the fan have a gun the bodyguards are the first to be killed

if the bodyguards are “so professionals” they would control the fan without the “need” to putting down

if Gu-Gu was a true lady would stop the “abusive bodyguard” and handled the situation with class, talking with the fan and be sorry about the incident

Gu-Gu is become a “insensitive idiot clown” and someone must call her out for this do not happen again

  • Jennifer

    Yeah? Tell John Lennon that.

  • Jennifer

Hmmm… I think maybe you fit that classic envy syndrome wherein the patient projects their own personna and shortcomings onto someone else.

If you don’t like her, like her music, like her taste in clothes, etc., then don’t follow her press around the various web sites and comment. It will only cause you great discomfort and angst and we certainly don’t want that, do we?

  • Jennifer

Awww… did you bumb your widdle head on the way down?

  • Hello

Not an overkill in my opinion. This fan is a big guy and he acted a ‘little’ aggressive and got too close to Lady Gaga too fast – in less than 3 seconds. The bodyguard HAD to react. Glad the fan is alright.

  • liz

    I totally agree

  • just me

ITA. i think she is a great performer and singer but her indifference..is just repulsive. i mean how do you walk away after seeing your fan being thrown on the floor in the most bizarre way . he is an idiot but all he had in his hands were a paper and a pen. wow.. i didn’t know such a reaction is legal in the first place

  • Dando

I completely disagree. There was not need to use that amount of force against the guy. Plus, the bodyguard never even took a backward glance at the guy, who could have run up behind them if a ‘genuine’ crazed celeb attacker. If it was in the U.S. he could open up a lawsuit against her…
