Lady Gaga Dropping Ball In Times Square On New Year’s Eve

The queen of the Monster Ball is gearing up to officially drop the ball.

Lady Gaga will help ring in 2012 by pushing the button that drops the iconic crystal ball in Times Square on New Year’s Eve.

The pop star was chosen by New York City’s Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who selects a special guest each year to help him carry out the task watched by millions worldwide.

Past choices include such notable figures as the Clintons and boxing great Muhammad Ali.

As Gossip Cop previously reported, Gaga is also slated to perform in Times Square on “Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve.”
