It is wrong to publish a story like this, particularly if you know it's fake, and I'd bet the tabloids know full well, but the choices the Kardashian's make do contribute to this sort of thing. The point everyone is making is that when it comes to this family, what is fake and what is real? If the Kardashian's themselves feed false or sensationalized stories to the tabloids, do the tabloids have a duty to feed out which false story came from the Kardashian's directly, and which are just strictly made up? BUT the reality show universe of which she is a part is just as sick for the same reasons. You create a fake facade and use the media to plant stories about yourselves for publicity, you will lose control at some point. If the stories aren't true (which I'm sure they're not), her family can sue for slander. I'd also point out that this girl is very beautiful but still a child. She hasn't allowed to be a child in awhile now. That's all for publicity to make money as well. The tabloids should respect the fact that she's only 15, and her mother should as well. You don't have to like these folks but this is wrong all the way around, so stop trying to justify it, these tabloids just go out here and make up these lies without any concerns as to who it affects, yes they choose to put their lives out there, but they are also Americans and they have the right to be protected under all of our laws, and wrong is wrong, celebs or not, and magazines who post stuff like this should be forced to prove it if they are going to print it, where is the evidence? they don't need to prove who told them, but they sure do need to prove that they fact checked prior to printing it, and if I were the Jenners I would sue on behalf of Kylie just to prove a point, I know it's a headache and money for these starts to sue every publication but one like this, they should go ahead and use them as an example, like Tom Cruise and a few others have done in the past for lies, that will make all the others think twice about doing it.
