Kylie Jenner: Justin Bieber Tells Me I’m “Amazing” (VIDEO)
Jenner is the cover star for the February issue of Elle UK, and touches on a number of topics, including her anti-bullying campaign. As Gossip Cop reported, Jenner started “#IAmMoreThan” earlier this year to combat the negative things people say about others on the Internet. And the teen has faced more than her fair share of cyber bullying.
But one person she’s been able to count on for support is Bieber. “I’m so close to him because I feel like he’s been through exactly what I’ve been through in a completely different way but very similar,” Jenner tells the magazine. “So, he’s just… he just… he gets me, and every time I see him, he always sits me down and is like, ‘Are you okay? You’re amazing. You can get through this. Just stay true to yourself.'”
Jenner adds, “He helps me a lot.” The 18-year-old also relies on dad Caitlyn Jenner, with whom her dynamic has changed a lot over the last year. “It’s an honest relationship, you know? I feel like you can’t build a strong relationship if there are secrets,” she says.
“Everything’s out in the open and now we’re closer,” continues Jenner. “I feel like we want to hang out more. I think there was always something on her mind before she transitioned.”
And what’s on Jenner’s mind right now? Well, she took to Instagram on Tuesday afternoon to celebrate her Elle UK cover story, and connected it to her own growth in 2015. “This has been such an amazing year & every moment was a learning experience. There has been so much light and love in my life and only in the past few weeks have I realized the importance of staying true to myself,” she wrote.
Jenner went on, “I am very much over people telling ME who I am. We are all in this together. Let go of all the negative people and energy in your life. Because 2016 is lookin real good from over here.” Indeed, the star said of her new cover story, “What an amazing way to start off the new year.”
