Kylie Jenner On Bruce’s Transition To A Woman: “This Has Been Very Hard For Me”
Kylie Jenner admits that Bruce Jenner’s transition to a woman has been a little rough on her. Following her father’s interview with Diane Sawyer on Friday, Kylie tweeted, “Understandingly, this has been very hard for me. You will hear what I have to say when I’m ready to but this isn’t about me.” She added, “I’m so proud of you, Dad. You are so brave. My beautiful hero.”
As Gossip Cop reported, the Kardashian and Jenner families have been very supportive of Bruce and his journey. After months of speculation, the former Olympic athlete confirmed that he is in the process of becoming a female. Bruce explained, “I was always very confused with my gender identity.” He told Sawyer during the interview that he thought he was born with “the soul of a female,” and admitted, “For all intents and purposes, I am a woman.”
Throughout the interview, Khloe Kardashian was retweeting positive messages about Bruce, and shortly after it ended, she wrote, “Just finished watching #BruceJennerInterview with the family. Bruzer, I’m sooo proud of you! Dads really are heroes.” Kourtney Kardashian posted, “Couldn’t be a more proud daughter. With courage and bravery, let’s change the world. I am honored to stand by Bruce’s side and support him.” Kendall Jenner told her father that she loved him, adding, “So very proud of you, my hero.”
Kim Kardashian expressed after the East Coast airing of the special, “Love is the courage to live the truest, best version of yourself. Bruce is love. I love you Bruce. #ProudDaughter.” Meanwhile, Rob Kardashian tweeted, “You have always been a role model to me and now more than ever, I look up to you. LOVE YOU.” And Kris Jenner, who divorced Bruce last year after more than two decades of marriage, tweeted, “Not only was I able to call him my husband for 25 years and father of my children, I am now able to call him my hero.” Did you watch Bruce Jenner’s interview with Diane Sawyer?
