Happy 18th Birthday Kylie Jenner! Gossip Cop Blows Out 5 Wrong Rumors About Reality Star
Kylie Jenner turns 18 on Monday, and to celebrate her birthday, Gossip Cop looks back at five really wrong rumors about the “Keeping Up with The Kardashians” star that we exclusively “blew out.”
In late July 2015, the Daily Mail alleged that Jenner was married to boyfriend Tyga after she posted a couple of photos to Instagram of herself wearing a diamond ring on her left hand. But the ring was not a wedding band, despite the report from the terribly inaccurate tabloid. Gossip Cop was exclusively told by an impeccable insider that rumors of her being married are “100 percent false.”
In early July 2015, RadarOnline published a ridiculous story that Jenner snubbed the Kardashians at the ESPY Awards. The Jenners and Kardashians were in attendance to support Caitlyn Jenner, who was receiving the Arthur Ashe Courage Award. However, during the ceremony Jenner posted a handful of Instagram photos she took with the Kardashian sisters, and even changed her outfit to a black ensemble, just so she could match her clothes with her half-siblings.
Gossip Cop exclusively busted OK! in June 2015 when the tabloid put out an absurd report that Jenner was pregnant with Scott Disick’s baby. The issue hit newsstands just weeks after we corrected the magazine for claiming Jenner was pregnant with Tyga’s baby. Gossip Cop was told, again by an insider, that both stories were ludicrous and untrue.
Earlier this year, Life & Style falsely claimed that Jenner’s family was staging an intervention, and that she was being “forced into rehab.” Gossip Cop was exclusively told that the report was completely false, and that there were no real concerns about alleged drug use. The tabloid went on to shamelessly make up a tale that blamed Justin Bieber for allegedly getting her hooked on drugs. Gossip Cop debunked all of this, and Jenner herself slammed the allegation in a Snapchat video.
Star, HollywoodLife, and MediaTakeOut all reported a flurry of inaccurate stories in December 2014. First, HollywoodLife claimed that Jenner wanted to “become the next Iggy Azalea,” and that Tyga was helping her to get a rap career going. Next, Star alleged that Jenner and Tyga were “thinking about eloping in Mexico.” And finally, MediaTakeOut falsely reported that Jenner was pregnant with Tyga’s baby. Jenner took to Twitter shortly after to shoot down all three rumors at once, tweeting, “Not trying to become a rapper, I’m not getting married, & I’m not pregnant.”
Gossip Cop wishes Kylie Jenner a happy and rumor-free birthday!
