Kristin Chenoweth Not Returning to Oz

According to numerous outlets all picking up on the same wrong item, “Glee” stars Kristin Chenoweth and Lea Michele will reunite on the big screen, lending their voices to an animated movie called “Dorothy of Oz.”
Michele reportedly plays the title character in an adaptation of the “More Adventures of Oz” books written by Roger S. Baum, great-grandson of “Wizard of Oz” scribe L. Frank Baum. The story’s events take place after those of the original story, with characters such as the Scarecrow, Tin Man, Cowardly Lion, and others making return appearances.
But be wary of any casting buzz, because at least one major role rumor is flat out wrong.
While the stories all have her playing the China Doll Princess, a representative for Chenoweth, who famously portrayed Oz’s Glinda in the Broadway smash “Wicked,” tells Gossip Cop the actress is not doing the movie.
