Kristin Chenoweth Hospitalized After Suffering Injury on The Good Wife Set

UPDATE – 7/12/12 – “Kristin has been released from the hospital and is home recovering. She thanks everyone for their prayers and well wishes,” her rep tells Gossip Cop.

Kristin Chenoweth had to be hospitalized after being hurt on the set of “The Good Wife” in New York on Wednesday.

The actress was struck by a piece of lighting equipment and hit her head on the ground.

“This afternoon, while filming a scene for ‘The Good Wife in Brooklyn,’ a gust of wind blew a lighting silk out of place striking actress Kristin Chenoweth,” CBS Television Studios says in statement furnished to Gossip Cop.

The statement adds, “She received treatment on the scene by the show’s medic until a New York Fire Department emergency medical team arrived and transported her to the hospital.”

“All of us at the studio and the show are thinking about Kristin and wishing her a quick recovery,” CBS concludes.
