Kristin Cavallari Brother Michael Died From Freezing Temperatures?
Kristin Cavallari’s brother, Michael, reportedly did not take his own life, but rather most likely died from being exposed to freezing temperatures. This is what law enforcement officials in Grand County, Utah, currently believe was the cause of death.
As Gossip Cop previously reported, Michael was found dead on Thursday after first going missing on November 27. Local law enforcement sources say that a suicide note was not found and his body did not exhibit any signs of major trauma. Because temperatures in the Utah desert were in the 30s during the day and dropped below 20 degrees at night, it’s believed his prolonged exposure to the frigid elements was what caused him to die. However, an official cause of death will not be announced until the results of toxicology tests are completed.
Michael’s body was discovered three miles from where he crashed his car in the desert. The vehicle was found about 100 yards off a Utah highway. Law enforcement agents found a cell phone inside the car, but it’s unclear if he was able to get reception in the remote area.
On Thursday, as Gossip Cop noted, Cavallari’s family issued a formal statement asking for privacy and thanking fans for their “love, support and prayers.” Kristin Cavallari later posted an old photo of herself with her brother, along with the caption, “My heart is in a million pieces.”
Gossip Cop will continue to update this story as more information emerges about Michael Cavallari’s tragic death.
