Kristin Cavallari Breaks Silence About Missing Brother Michael, Thanks For Support And Prayers
Kristin Cavallari has broken her silence about her brother, Michael, who’s been missing since November 27 after his car was found abandoned on a Utah highway. On Monday, the actress tweeted, “I appreciate the thoughts & prayers that have been extended to me & my family. I have such gratitude for those that have shared their support.”
As Gossip Cop reported, Utah’s Grand County Sheriff’s Office is terming Cavallari’s brother’s disappearance “an active missing person investigation” after his 2014 Honda Civic was discovered on the road, though he was nowhere to be found. According to law enforcement, Michael Cavallari, who lives in Clemente, California, was last seen on by surveillance camera at a convenience store in Monticello, Utah. It’s also the last place he used a credit card.
In the days following her brother going missing, Cavallari made no mention of it, instead posting messages on Instagram on such banal subjects as a hot chocolate recipe and the snow. On Sunday, Gossip Cop sought a comment from her rep about Michael Cavallari being considered a “missing person.”
While the star of “The Hills” broke her silence to express gratitude for her fans’ support and prayers, she didn’t give any insight into whether the police had any leads or theories about her brother’s disappearance. As Gossip Cop previously noted, if anyone knows anything about Michael Cavallari’s disappearance or whereabout, contact the Grand County Sheriff’s Office at 435-259-8115.
