Kristen Wiig Joins Anchorman 2

Kristen Wiig has joined Anchorman 2.
The “Saturday Night Live” alum is on board the highly anticipated Will Ferrell comedy sequel, tentatively called Anchorman: The Legend Continues.
Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, Christina Applegate and Dave Koechner will return from the original hit.
Wiig’s character has not been confirmed, although it’s been widely reported she’ll portray the wife of Carell’s dimwitted Brick Tamland.

Applegate tweeted, “So excited Kristen Wiig has joined our cast for anchorman2. Going 2 b best movie ever made. Besides the best movies ever made.”
Wiig and Ferrell’s chemistry was on display during a hilarious joint presentation at the Golden Globes.
