Kristen Stewart, Alicia Cargile Wedding Claims NOT True
Kristen Stewart and Alicia Cargile are NOT planning a wedding, despite a report falsely claiming they’re “getting hitched.” Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk the story.
Wednesday’s new edition of OK! recounts Stewart’s recent comments about being “in love” with her girlfriend. The magazine, though, apparently can’t regurgitate accurate information without throwing in some falsehoods, too. And so, it’s said, “Kristen told Alicia she wanted to marry her!”
“They have yet to set a date,” claims the tabloid, but a so-called “source” is quoted as saying, “They’ve been hashing out the details ever since. They know want [sic] to have a small, outdoor ceremony, probably somewhere north of L.A. like Santa Barbara or Big Sur, with a bohemian feel. They want it to be romantic but nontraditional.”
OK! even says, “We’re betting on KStew rocking a pair of her signature Converse.” The outlet’s alleged tipster adds, “Kristen feels sure now that she’s found the love of her life.” Uh, not so fast.
Wasn’t it this very same publication that said Stewart and Cargile were “secretly married” nearly a year ago? And wasn’t it also this magazine that said Stewart and Cargile were married in January? Yes and yes.
Yet, here we are now with a new nuptial tale from the very same outlet, one that’s all about getting married. The inconsistency and history of inaccuracy is not lost on Gossip Cop. And when we looked into these latest claims, our impeccable contact laughed, and joked that the (non-existent) wedding is actually today. Maybe OK!’s invite got lost in the mail.
