Another publication, another absurd “Twilight” tale.
The National Enquirer reports that Robert Pattinson faced down an angry Kristen Stewart at the Teen Choice Awards when Stewart accused him of having the hots for co-“Choice Hottie” winner Megan Fox.
“You’re into Megan Fox!” Stewart reportedly blurted, adding, “I saw how you put your arm around her waist . . . I saw the way you touched her!”
Um, everyone saw them. It was on television. (And they were being cordial winners.)
Nevertheless, the Enquirer claims an exasperated Pattinson allegedly shot back at Stewart, “Oh, for Pete’s sake! She’s just a friend.”
Megan Fox’s rep, who was on the scene, tells Gossip Cop, “There’s nothing to this story.”
And that’s exactly what Gossip Cop feels, but when false stories start spreading like wildfire, we respond by dousing them with truth.
