Kristen Stewart: “I’m Dying To Make Another Movie” With Robert Pattinson

VIDEO

(Celebuzz)

If it were up to Kristen Stewart, she and Robert Pattinson would be starring in another movie together yesterday.

In an interview with Celebuzz, Stewart is asked about the possibility of reuniting with Pattinson in Fifty Shades of Grey, saying that while she currently has no involvement in the movie, she is “dying to make another movie with Rob.”

VIDEO BELOW

Stewart notes, “I think that we’re a good team,” emphasizing their next film together would need to be “so ridiculously ambitious.”

“I would love to work with him again,” adds the Snow White and The Huntsman star.

Check out the video below!

I really would love to see this happen someday. They have both said they want to do it, they just have to wait a while. Just not 50 shades.

  • Cowboy

Kristen i love you but get rid of footface. You need to stand alone get out of the spotlight and work on your acting. I mean i don’t want you to become the next Jennifer aniston. Get rid of footface

  • Chloe

Hmmm… Rob has said he wants to make another movie with her…. Kristen has said that she wants to make another movie with him. Let’s get this going!

Honestly I don’t see them doing another movie together or a few years. Like Kate & Leo.. I would like to see them in something like The Notebook.

  • JessMarie414

^ Exactly. Please, please not 50 Shades. They need to get away from Twilight. All 50 shades would do is suck them right back in.

  • Kate

I think both are making excellent decisions with their movie choices. It will be interesting to see what film they decide to do together.

  • JessMarie414

Seriously? If you don’t like Rob that’s fine. But lowering yourself to name calling? How immature.

  • Buffy_2012

Really? You must not love Kristen too much or you would know better than to insult a man that she clearly loves and respects. You don’t have to like Rob, but as a Kristen fan you should be respectful of Kristen and her feelings towards Rob.

  • Satine

I personally believe that the next movie they do together will be some indie flick that they both can sink their teeth into (no pun intended). They both love indie films and I could see them as sort of Sid and Nancy type roles or maybe a dark comedy in the vain of War of the Roses. I think it would be brilliant.

  • Guest

You did what you wanted to do here and by no means did you mean those words. You’re just a troll/hater that likes attention and being anonymous on the internet. No way would you ever say those words to Kristen’s face or say to Robert what you said about him. You need places like the internet to feel important because in your real life it must be very unsatisfying and very miserable. Robert and Kristen are together and from the looks of it very very happy with each other. Hope someday you can be as happy as they are but if this is how you get enjoyment, well that day won’t happen for you.

  • Guest

Yes, would love to see Rob and Kristen in another movie together. It would be a huge hit, no matter what it was, lol.

  • Cowboy

of course i would say it to Kristen face that drunk can’t stop embarrassing her. How long till he cheat again. It time for her to leave him and become a women know for her acting not be with a drunk cheater.

  • Big Bang

I respect the success of Fifty Shades but it is an insult to two people who enjoy actual literature (and hae done movies based on classics like Bel Ami and On the Road) to be “dumbed down” to play the leads just to appease the fanfic wishes of some of their fans. Kristen was diplomatic in her answer but there is no way she or Rob will do this. Key words were “ridiculously ambitious” after all…

Perhaps Fifty Shades can be a great stepping stone for people like Ian Somerhalder, whose expressed interest and enthusiasm.

As for Rob and Kristen…haters will choke on it, but they’ll have an excellent professional and personal future. Apart and together. And another movie together will happen when the time is right.

  • Guest

Either you are young or not from the US. It’s easy to spot with your use of words. Rob is not a drunk or a cheater. You’re not a fan of Kristen either so don’t pretend to be. Like I said, it’s easy to spot who you are. Kristen is smart and you don’t have a very high opinion of her at all. You are not a fan of Kristen and that my dear is a fact. You can’t fool everyone, because you’re like a glass house, we see right through you. Just remember this the next time you see a Rumor -”RUMORS ARE STARTED BY HATERS, SPREAD BY FOOLS, AND ACCEPTED BY IDIOTS!” Guess which one you are?????

  • JessMarie414

Holy crap, I was just thinking that they would be great in a remake of Sid & Nancy. Gary Oldman was great but we need a remake!

  • Insatnlf

Why not? They should do sth like DiCaprio and Winslet in Revolutionary Road. But it should be in no fewer than 10 years from now.

  • JessMarie414

I’d love to see your evidence that Rob is a cheater. The last time that we saw him out with friends without Kristen was December… and he was with four other people leaving a restaurant. In fact, when is the last time he was even photographed leaving a bar?

He’s not a drunk or a cheater. If you were really a fan of Kristen you wouldn’t make up lies about her boyfriend. It’s funny that you only ever comment to bitch about him but not on any of her other articles. Stop trolling.

  • http://www.twitter.com/itsRooona Rania Aly

Kristen is so funny .. I loved how she said ‘beautiful’ .. she’s hilarious! :)

  • Emilie

Poor DC spewing his hate for Rob all over the internet… Except we don’t know if cowboy is a girl or a guy…

  • JM

Um..no. Rob should do movies with an actress who can actually ACT!!!

  • Fu

Kristen should do a movie with an actor who does not look constipated the whole movie.. you know Rob and his constipated look.

  • just saying……

Please find a dictionary or take some proper grammar lessons. Your post was horrendous and based on your own spiteful and ludicrous imagination. Grow up.

  • emilie

Rob is playing Edward like he should be played: self-controlled.

  • Peaceoutalyssa

I totally agree with you 50 shades would mess up their careers!!

  • Liz

I’d like to see them in an indie and a romantic comedy (but more along the lines of Adventureland, which was subtly funny)

  • Lo

I love their chemistry but i would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to see them in something like War of the Roses where they maybe start of as lovers and then completely hate each other. It would definitely show their acting abilities and so completely opposite of the relationship of E/B in Twi.

  • Janet

Oh please no. Five turkeys in a row were enough.

  • D. Martin

I agree with both of you. They’ve been picking projects that are very far removed from Twilight. Twilight made them household names and probably eliminated the “cattle calls” of Hollywood but if they DID do this movie than everyone would be bringing up Twilight — they are NOW and the movie isn’t even made.

  • Chloe

Those “turkeys” are what made them famous. They are each very appreciative of that. They have each said that they want to work together again. No one is forcing you to watch them.

  • conan

Let’s see, who’s more popular? Bitchface or footface. Well, it’s not Bitchface, that’s for sure.

Too bad Rob isn’t dying to make a movie with KStew. He’s moved on, and he’s never needed to ride on her coattails. He’s the one who’s films outside of Twilight have been profitable, Remember Me and Water For Elephants were both successful. Her 3 indies were so bad, they couldn’t even make back their production budgets.

And Cosmopolis is the film that’s getting all the attention at Cannes. Rob’s on the cover of several French magazines, and at the top of all the must see lists. Cosmopolis also has much better odds of winning the grand prize than OTR. They’ll never work together again, he’s smarter than that.

  • Lee

Your confused gender issues are showing again, Cowboy. KStew is never gonna love you, even if she does like to dress up in men’s clothing and think she wears the pants in a relationship.

Still saving up for that gender switching surgery? Good luck with that. Too bad they don’t have a personality switching surgery, you could use that even more.

  • Scared_789

Oh really? You mean the actress who is famous for wooden acting is too good to act with Rob? What a joke. He’s the ones the fans scream for and pay to see, not her. Have you seen the SWATH reviews? The critics hate her as Snow White.

“Snow White and the Huntsman” By Christopher Fowler
Which brings me to Kristen Stewart, whose frozen face and inability to PLACE the RIGHT emphasis on HER words virtually wrecks the film. The unsmiling, flat-faced, dead-eyed ‘Twilight’ star shows less animation than the Dark Wood’s scary trees, and her big troop-rallying speech is less of an urgent call to arms than the needy screeching of a teenager who’s had her mobile tariff capped. Even when she’s eventually crowned (that’s not exactly a spoiler, is it?) she only manages a superior smirk that suggests she might make a much worse ruler than Theron.

  • Anonymous

Unlucky for you he loves said actress. Go and cry.

  • Anonymous

oooo I agree. Something sweet..but deep like that would be great.

  • Anonymous

That guy is a blogger, not a pro critic Rob and Kristen aren’t in competition and they care about each other. all you are doing is opening up nasty Krisbians to dig up bad reviews of Rob, just stop it.

  • Anonymous

Too bad for you Rob told Josh from MTV at Comicon that he doesn’t care what anyone thinks, he wants to do another movie with Kristen. rob and Kristen are not at war like you hateful, jealous fans are, they love and support each other. I think it is great that Cosmopolis is getting the attention that it is and I am sure Kristen thinks so too. Their two movies are very different and Kristen’s role is not as large as Rob’s as she is not one of the leads.

I will be seeing both movies when they come out in my area and hope both are considered for lots of awards this year.

Just be happy for both of them for once instead of always bitter. It is so obvious that they make each other happy. They both have great careers ahead of them. Fans of Rob posting horrible things about Kristen disrespect him just as fans of Kristen posting horrible things about Rob disrespect her. You bitter fans need to grow up. You all sound like a bunch of immature school kids with your fake competition.

  • Anonymous

The only embarrassing thing in Kristen’s life is so-called “fans” like you who make up false accusations about Rob. Kristen would hate you. But I doubt you are actually a fan of hers. You just sound like a troll.

  • Anonymous

There’s new tv spots for SWATH. More footage of the Prince and Snow White. Kristen is truly haunting in this. Love it.

  • JessieB

You nonstens never learn do you. The one bad review was written by a nerdy blogger who is mad at Kristen for taking a role like Snow White. The blogger himself admitted that. Also, the owner of the site his review was posted on said that the blogger has weird taste in movies preferring low budget scifi movies to mainstream ones. By the way. The one you just posted is a review of the trailers and tv spots. Move along…..

  • Wtf

I am a Rob fan, and so-called “fans” like you are an embarrassment to his true fans. Rob loves Kristen. Pure, plain, and simple fact. Rob has stated dozens of times he wants to do another movie with Kristen and does not give a shit what you nonstens think about it. David Cronenberg has a long history with Cannes. I am excited about Cosmopolis being there, but the reason it’s getting alot more coverage than the rest of the films is because of David’s long history and ties to Cannes. It would be nice if you nonstens could learn the art of shutting your mouths and quit setting Rob up to fail. You did the same thing when Bel-Ami came out and as much as Ioved Bel-Ami the truth is it was not a success. The Cannes jury panel looks for more in a movie than just violence and sex, which is 95% of what Cosmopolis is about. A jury decides the movie that wins Cannes not fans.

  • Buffy_2012

Poor nonsten. I see you are as stupid as ever. There are new legit critic reviews of SWATH and hate to burst your bubble but SWATH and Kristen are being called flawless and fantastic. Sucks to be you..

  • Deandra

No, Rob has not said any such thing dozens of times. When he was asked point blank at ComicCon he gave the polite answer, what else could he do? “No, I never want to work with her again, we’ve already made 5 movies together and I don’t want to drag that baggage along with me for the rest of my life. I have a career to think about, I’m going to make serious, adult films and I don’t need to be associated with teen popcorn movies any more.”

He can’t say something like that, he has to give the polite answer that co-stars always give. And she just uses his name to get more attention. But you see the kinds of films he has lined up, and they don’t include roles for her. Actions speak louder than words.

  • Wtf

My gosh you nonstens come up with the most pathetic bullshit. When Rob said that at ComicCon he was dead serious. He also said he did not care what his fans thought about it. Why would Rob consider his girlfriend baggage. Kristen does not have to name drop anyone to get attention. Nice try nonsten bitch, but you fail…again

  • MollyJune

I hope they don’t make anymore movies together, 5 is enough. Rob would be great in 50 Shades,
but not Kristen. Ana is supposed to be beautiful to be able to catch Christian’s eye and she just
    isn’t that attractive.

  • Lynn

Why on earth can’t you people compliment one without insulting the other! Grow up!!!

  • Lynn

Kristen was beautiful enough to catch Rob’s eye….just sayin

  • http://twitter.com/renate2009 gabi

are you 12..name calling is so dumb and inmature…I’m sure u look like a Greek God

  • http://twitter.com/renate2009 gabi

all you 50 shades supporter stop playing with yourself..it’s embarrassing ..how many complained about SM writing and now you read that Garbage …

  • JessMarie414

    1) I love how you pretend that Kristen isn’t popular. A google search proves you wrong each time.

    2) Rob has said that he wants to work with Kristen after the Twilight Series is over.

    3) Her indies were VERY SMALL releases. The Runaways was 244 theaters and Welcome to the Rileys was 11.

Whereas Panic Room, The Messengers, In the Land of Women, Into the Wild, and Adventureland have all been very profitable.

    4) it’s convient that you forget to mention Bel Ami. BA is an indie with a smaller distribution as well. It has only made slightly over $5.5 million (on a $11.9 million budget) overseas. And it’s only being released in five cities on June 8th. It probably won’t make it’s budget back either.

    5) Cosmopolis is getting all the Cannes attention? Then why is OTR beating it in the polls? You can’t use Kristen’s fans as an excuse. I mean, you just said above that she isn’t popular.

Both OTR and Cosmopolis are getting more attention than the other Cannes nominees. Deal with it.

    6) Yes, Rob has a magazine cover out. Kristen has three. But he’s more popular right?

    7) Again, Rob has already said that he wants to work with Kristen again. He said that they talked about it all the time.

Haven’t you nonstens realized that he isn’t taking your ‘advice’? You can write all the letters to his management team that you want but all they are going to do is laugh their asses off. Despite what you think, Summit/Lionsgate CANNOT force him to spend time with Kristen outside of filming and promos. BD2 is six months away. He CHOOSES to spend time with her. He and his sister CHOSE to go to the SWATH premiere and after party. He will CHOOSE to go to the OTR premiere. Deal with it.

  • JessMarie414

    1) That is not from a critic. It’s from a wannabe film blogger who hates anything Twilight related.

    2) “he’s the one fans scream for and want to see”- that’s complete bs and you know it. Kristen and Rob each have millions of fans. If no one want to see her then why were there tons of people lined up for the SWATH premiere? Why does she have dozens of fansites? Why are there thousands of twitter and tumblr sites dedicated to her? Once again, you nonstens lack all proof and logic.

    3) Every film will get at least SOME bad reviews. But it’s funny how you conviently forget that Bel Ami got bad reviews as well. SWATH has over 90,000 user ratings on rotten tomatoes. 90% of those people want to see the film. It’s getting huge predictions for its box office.

    4) Hate to break it to you but Kristen has won more acting awards than Rob has. Not including the MTV/People’s choice/ Teen Choice, she has won : Orange Rising Star BAFTA, Best Actress @ the MIFF, and Best Supporting Actress @ the Young Artist Awards for Into the Wild. Not to mention that she has multiple nominations (3) for Leading/Supporting Young Actress @ the YAA, multiple Best Actress awards @ the Scream Awards, and she got nominated at the Gotham awards for Best Cast (Adventureland).

Rob’s a great actor but outside of MTV/People’s Choice/Teen Choice he has only won: Best Actor @Strasbourg Film Festival (How to Be), Best Foreign Actor @ Russia’s Georges Award, National Movie Award for Best Actor, and two Scream Awards.

  • JessMarie414

Once again, silly nonsten, you are wrong. Rob also said in an interview how he wants to work with Kristen again. How they talk about it all the time. It’s amusing that you completely ignore the words coming straight out of his mouth. He also said that he dreamt of Kristen, how she is his celebrity crush, and amazing she is. And he has also said that “some people think we are doing it for publicity. We’re not” when questioned about his relationship with Kristen. Of course you completely ignore all of that.

I’m not sure how she uses his name to get more attention. SWATH is getting loads of attentions simply because of her. She’s not even the lead in OTR and it’s getting it’s attention because of her. She has three movies coming out this year, two of which are slated to be blockbusters, the third which is premiering at Cannes. But she needs his name to get attention? You should tell that to all the magazines, interviews, and talk shows she has been doing for SWATH promo.

  • Anonymous

Nope, sorry to ruin your delusions, but Rob was serious. If he was kidding he would have said “sure” and moved on. But no, he was very enthused and said they would probably have to wait but actually didn’t want to because he didn’t care what people like you thought. Kristen said they talk about it all the time, he also talked about it in another interview or two. These are the words coming out of his mouth. You are just writing the delusions in your head. I get it you don’t like Kristen, but don’t transfer those feelings onto Rob thinking he feels that way, because he doesn’t. As someone heard him say the other night, he thinks Kristen is amazing. Show some respect for him and stop talking trash about her.

  • Taymarc26

Kristen loves Rob, Rob loves Kristen. Anyone who is a fan of either has to respect that. Why are you people creating a battle between the two? Neither of them would appreciate any of it. It’s classless and trashy to sit on this site & bash them. They are both two extremely talented people with huge things coming in their future. They will be successful without the help of you so called ‘fans.’ They will go on to do brilliant things & will love and support each other every single step of the way. They work extremely hard and put everything they have into their careers, to me that should earn them all of the respect in the world whether you like them or not!

  • guest

jealous much. when K cleans up she is as attractive as any other HW try-hards. the problem is she always looks like she needs a shower & i´m saying that as a fan.

  • Syndi

Buffy, I saw the robsten letter you posted on your tumblr and may I just say again that you fucking rock… Your blog is awesome and I love it!!!!

  • kikay

I would like to see them in romcom movies like Sweet Home Alabama ,they would look awesome in that,i bet thats where they got their dogs name Bear,so cute!

  • Info

Reviews of OTR are coming in from critics. It’s being called excellent, and the cast (yes Kristen Stewart) are all getting praise for their strong performance. They also said OTR was a definate contender of winning.

  • kikay

Did you guys see the OTR after party robsten kissing video, isn’t it Rob the most passionate boyfriend in the world? His love for Kristen is so endearing !!After 4 years of being with Kristen ,he still can’t get enough of her,it seems like he’s seeing her for the first time all the time,so sweet!!I mean even if he knows Kristen will pull back or push him when he kissed her,he will still go for it,such a determined guy!And when Kristen hold him tenderly he just melt in her hands.Such a sweet guy!The haters from HL are foaming again, saying he was just drunk!Drunk or not,the guy is clearly so in love with her,it’s like shes the only girl in the world that exists when shes around him and you ‘ve got to be in denial or blind not to see that. But i’m so happy for them,i’m glad they found each other!

  • Deandra

Actions still speak louder than words. Rob’s lined up 5 new films and there aren’t parts for her in any of them. OTR bombed, it’s getting horrible reviews, and Cosmopolis got the longest standing ovation of any film at Cannes this year, and fantastic reviews. Rob’s the king of Cannes, his star is the brightest and he’s doing great on his own. Everyone wants to work with him, including Scorsese.

  • Connie

Guess you can’t tell passion from a drunk friend consoling another friend when their movie got a lukewarm reception at Cannes, and bad reviews. I saw more passion when Rob kissed the beautiful French girl that the Festival assigned to him when he got off the boat. A forehead kiss is not passion, and the quick peck isn’t either.

And as soon as he saw the cameras he sat down and that was the end of that. He still doesn’t want people talking about his private life, too bad her fans don’t respect that.

  • MaryLou

Most of the OTR reviews are bad. It’s at 33 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, two thirds of the reviews are negative. It’s another one of Kristen’s indie bombs and it probably won’t make its budget either, just like the rest of her failures.

The Telegraphs hated it, giving it 2 out of 5 stars, and the same for The Guardian:
    http://www.guardian.co.uk/film/2012/may/23/on-the-road-review?intcmp=ILCMUSIMG9382
the heroes of On the Road, who strenuously insist on how passionate and life-affirming they are, with dozens of self-consciously staged parties, in which the characters heroically swig from bottles, smoke joints, have sex and become narcissistic, flatulent and boring in a way that isn’t entirely intentional.

    http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2012/05/23/on-the-road-as-filmed-by-walter-salles-doesn-t-measure-up-to-kerouac-s-original.html
Since Kristen Stewart regaled journalists at the film’s press conference with heartfelt anecdotes of listening to old tapes of LuAnne Henderson’s reminiscences and betrays a strong empathy for her character, it’s disappointing to report that, although she pouts nicely, her turn as Marylou is rather lifeless.

    Film school rejects….
“Elsewhere Kristen Stewart again flatters to deceive, offering brief moments of passion, but reverting to her ice-cold angsty Bella shtick for the most part, criminally underplaying a character in Marylou who is supposed to burn with energy.”

    http://thefilmstage.com/reviews/cannes-review-on-the-road/
Unfortunately, a film without a narrative purpose feels like a shallow act, and soon enough watching purposeless characters continue down that road over and over becomes tiresome. Add to that a character change in the film’s third act that’s poorly handled, and you’ll almost feel guilty looking at your watch waiting for it all to end.

  • Buffy_2012

Nonsten bitch. Move the fuck on. You nonstens are the joke of every fandom. You bitches have screamed for pda and guess what bitch you got it. Rob’s “secret” message to you nonsten bitches was FUCK OFF!!! Sit your bitter, vile ass down and shut the fuck up. It’s Robsten all the way bitch. Deal with it….

  • Anonymous

    Deandra, grow up.

They never said they would be working together soon, they both said they would have to wait a long time. And stop putting Kristen down when you don’t have your facts straight. Both movies have been getting mixed reviews but both of them gave gotten great reviews for their performances. This one has OTR rated higher than Cosmopolis. As a fan you should just be happy for his success and stop trying to insult the woman he loves. It is not a competition for them because they obviously support each other. You hateful fans have to constantly make it a petty war that does not exist. Just be happy for them.myhey have worked so hard and are both doing very well. And here is another fact for you, Kristen also has projects lined up, one being Cali that will start shooting this summer and then there is also the SWATH sequel. After that she is attached to Back Roads.

If you are a fan of Rib’s then be a fan and support him and stop saying crap about his girlfriend. You just come off looking like a jealous little girl.

You nonsten really look desperate and pathetic now. Even cynical people on ONTD can tell how cute nd in love they are.

  • Denandra

I know it’s difficult for you to deal with reality, but OTR is at 33 percent on RT UK, with 7 good reviews and 14 bad ones. That’s a fact, it never had any real Cannes buzz, it never had any chance of winning a prize, it got a lukewarm reception and it’s getting lots of bad reviews. It’s going to bomb, get used to it. Just like Kristen’s other indies, it will get a limited release in a few theaters and disappear and be forgotten, except as a badly done adaptation of the classic book.

I don’t know why Rob has anything to do with a discussion of Kristen’s career, he’s not in OTR or swath. People are allowed to think she’s a bad actress, it doesn’t matter who she hangs out with. You people need to learn a little objectivity. She can trail around after Rob and try to ride his coattails, but it doesn’t translate to good reviews or gaining an audience for her bad movies.

  • RedBrigade

So he’s just a blogger, so what? He has an opinion and it’s just as valid as yours. The real critics aren’t all going to hop on the bandwagon either. OTR has horrible reviews, across the board, and they pointed to how Kristen’s performance was less than stellar, like this:

The Daily Beast:…it’s disappointing to report that, although she pouts nicely, her turn as Marylou is rather lifeless.

    from film school rejects….
“Elsewhere Kristen Stewart again flatters to deceive, offering brief moments of passion, but reverting to her ice-cold angsty Bella shtick for the most part, criminally underplaying a character in Marylou who is supposed to burn with energy.”

  • Wtf

Poor jealous nonsten. The greater majority of the OTR reviews are outstanding with rave reviews for Kristen as well. Cosmopolis has gotten some bad reviews so if you are to pit Rob and Kristen against each other, then you failed miserably as usual.

  • Imogene

You’re right, when Rob’s in a film with a good actress, like Juliette Binoche, he gets fantastic reviews. You can only do so much if the person you’re acting with has a blank expression and doesn’t give you anything to work with.

Another great review of her lackluster performance in OTR:
“Stewart takes her top off so many times that even the perennially shirtless Taylor Lautner would be impressed…”

Most of the reviews for OTR have been very bad, saying “skip it.” Not surprising really, with that cast.

  • 411

If her reviews for OTR are so good, then why is the movie at 33 percent on RT? That’s considered rotten. Very rotten, you need 60 percent to be fresh and that’s nowhere close.

If she doesn’t need attention, then why is her PR woman working 24/7? She’s desperate for attention, that’s why she suddenly became a fashionista, selling out to Balenciaga, attending fashion shows, but she isn’t fooling anyone. Her dirty sneaker say it all. She’s a hypocrite, just playing the game to get more famous, signing on to another franchise instead of doing those indies she supposedly loves so much.

You would have thought she’d be happy enough with her BD payday, but I guess she’s greedy along with ungrateful.

  • Info

Robert Pattinson’s dark new film Cosmopolis attracted all the right kinds of attention with its provocative trailer, but critics are not impressed with the full product.

The film, directed by David Cronenberg, has been met with a cold reception with reviewers at the Cannes Film Festival.

The Guardian’s Peter Bradshaw awarded the film two stars out of five, writing: “You don’t go to a Cronenberg movie for comedy, but rather for something exciting, exotic, daring and precise: really, none of those things is present in this agonisingly self-conscious and meagre piece of work.”

Digital Spy agreed, saying of Pattinson: “There’s a nihilistic sarcasm about his performance that’s nicely judged and you can feel Cronenberg channelling his vampiric blankness… Stylised but not stylish, [the film's] satire of a society driven to self-destruction fails to pull into focus often enough.”

Film School Rejects said: “Robert Pattinson does well enough with the material, convincingly aloof and alien, and coping with the necessary rampant biological urges well without caricaturing, but really his is a rather thankless task… Cosmopolis is a mostly impenetrable exercise in posturing and self-importance.”

Cronenberg had rated his chances of winning the top prize at Cannes as “slim to none”… and we fear he may be right.

I’m not having difficulty dealing with anything. Reviews don’t bother me. I just laugh at you bitter and angry Rob fans who can’t deal with how he is with Kristen so you have to attack her on the internet. How would you like it if someone attacked someone you cared about? Well that is how Rob would feel about you. Think about it. Have some respect and grow up instead of sounding like a jealous little 12 year old.

Your petty little posts won’t change anyone’s mind about her. You just display more about yourself than about her.

  • Anonymous

Cosmopolis AND Rob have gotten rave reviews as well you know.

  • kikay

Connie ,Connie my nonsten Connie, give it up already! It’s been freakin’ 4 years they’re together!I know your poor little nonstens hurt has been trampled by Robs passionate love for Kristen time and time again by kissing her in each other most important day and show the world that shes the only girl in the wotrld for her,but can you blame the guy,his girlfriend is drop dead gorgeous, nobody can compare to her!Especially when after he kissed her and she pushed him and saw how sad he got she hugged him back right away and then Rob put his head on her shoulder tenderly for so long, even if you don’t have a heart you can see that he love her with all his heart. He may not want people talking about his private life but he don’t have problem showing his affection for Kristen in front of the whole world to see,too bad you can’t see and respect that.

  • Linda

You’re wrong as usual. Rob said he wants to work with Kristen again. I bet those pictures of Rob and Kristen kissing at the OTR after party are just killing you nonsten. You can no longer deny that Rob and Kristen love each other, and it’s a big FU to the K haters like you. So go sob in your donuts.

  • Linda

Also, Rob and Kristen hugged right after the Cosmopolis premiere in front of everyone. He went right to her. They’re officially out now and nothing the idiot nonstens can say or do will change that.

  • Reality Check

Those pics showed Rob drinking from a bottle, his judgement was impaired. I saw her clinging to him as usual, and him acting like a friend consoling someone who’s movie got bad reviews. I’ve always thought they were friends with benefits, so kissing is not a big deal. I didn’t see epic romance, I saw a quick peck, not a passionate kiss.

I also see him lining up work that will keep him busy for the next two years, work she’s not involved in. Once all this BD promo is over they will go their own ways, they’re already setting the stage for that, she’s got movies lined up, too. They aren’t planning for a future together, that much should be “so obvious.” He spent the majority of last year in a different country than her, real boyfriends choose to be in the same country as their girlfriends. And I don’t care where they’re supposedly living at the moment, he’s going to be off on location and so is she, and things change. This isn’t permanent.

  • Ana

@Wft … always the same nonsense of jealousy …. is just the reality, the ovation at Cannes was very short, left Cannes on Thursday with the bad reviews, canceled their appearance at LGJ, Kristen was booed in all instances … that’s the image that OTR and Kristen have been featured in Cannes

  • Wtf

@Ana- Umm, looks like you are the jelous bitch. A 5min standing ovation at Cannes is fucking awesome. In addition to being praised for OTR, Kristen owned the red carpet. The ladies from Cosmopolis could not compete with the goddess in red. But, let’s get real here. You’re problem is Rob and Kristen shoing the world that they are a couple. A very in love and committed couple at that. Go cry in the corner nonsten.

  • JessieB

@Reality check- Sounds like you are the one that needs a reality check. Since when does a “friend” consoling a friend involve french kissing, rubbing each other, etcc?? Kristen’s movie did not fail, and she rocked the fashion world. You nonstens are so fucking pathetic. The only thing Rob and Kristen are setting the stage for is taking the next step in their relationship, and that step involve’s the word’s I do. BD has nothing to do with Rob and Kristen’s relationship. They don’t even have to promote it because it is a surefire hit, and early box office predictions prove that. You FAIL…again. Move along bitch.

  • JessieB

@Deandra- Yes bitch, actions speak louder than words so when Rob was kissing Kristen, caressing her face, and holding her did you get the message? The message was fuck you nonstens. Yep, Rob made it quite clear that Kristen is his lady, and don’t give a shit waht you say.

  • JessieB

@411- Come back after OTR is released and talk bitch. Kristen desperate for attention? All she had to do was wear that sexy red dress and she stole the show and rocked the red carpet. Even the critics that may not have liked OTR are praising Kristen’s performance. Here’s a 411 for you.. Rob will never fuck you. He has a red hot girlfriend named Kristen Stewart. Deal with it bitch.

  • JessieB

@DEANDRA- Yep, Rob was the king of Cannes, and was there with the queen of Cannes Kristen Stewart.

  • JessieB

@Deandra- Get ready to eat crow. An article about Cannes noting Kristen and OTR were good.

English-language directors did their share of wild noodling too. With “Cosmopolis,” David Cronenberg set nearly an entire movie in a stretch limousine as Robert Pattinson starred in a futuristic exploration of the end of technocapitalism.

The Oscar nominee Lee Daniels, meanwhile, tried his hand at an intensely heightened 1960′s melodrama in “The Paperboy,” a period movie about race and murder starring Nicole Kidman and Zac Efron; the movie was so filled with over-the-top touches that it prompted pundit Eugene Hernandez to proclaim this the auteurs-gone-wild festival. Neither “Paperboy” nor “Cosmopolis” went over well with critics or festivalgoers.

Indeed, U.S.-set films, the subject of much hype coming into the festival, were also some of its biggest disappointments. Also faltering with festgoers was John Hillcoat’s Prohibition-era “Lawless,” which starred Shia LaBeouf as a brother in a family of bootleggers.

LaBeouf and many Hollywood stars sought to use Cannes for another purpose: to reinvent themselves as more serious actors. Perhaps none did so more successfully than Matthew McConaughey, the romantic-comedy staple who established himself as a potential Oscar contender with his turn as an enigmatic homeless man in “Mud,” a contemporary spin on “Huckleberry Finn.” Directed by Jeff Nichols, “Mud” was by far the best-received movie of the English-language crop.

Attempts at a career makeover were also undertaken by the stars of one of the globe’s biggest franchises. In addition to Pattinson’s turn as a paranoid Wall Street mogul in “Cosmopolis,” Kristen Stewart, his “Twilight” costar and comrade in tween idoldom, tried a prestige turn in the long-awaited adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s “On the Road.” The film received reasonably enthusiastic responses, as did Stewart for her role as Marylou from the iconic book.

“I just want to take good roles,” Stewart said, when asked by The Times about how this turn might propel her career. “That’s true whether it’s a big movie or a small one, or a comedy or a drama, or if a director wants to try something completely new.”

She’s in luck. Judging by this year’s Cannes, plenty of filmmakers are willing to oblige.

Typical nonsten trying to re-write history. Both Rob and Kristen got boo’d on the red carpet for each others premieres when they wouldn’t sign autographs. No one left on Thursday. I know you must have broke down into tears when you saw Rob go to Kristen after his big movie and they shared that amazing moment. Not to mention the extreme meltdown you must have had seeing him kiss and cuddle with her at the OTR party. You can write all the hate you want, but it will not change reality, Rob loves Kristen and he can’t stand fans like you who constantly put her down.

  • Anonymous

Oh Alyssa, you will never change will you. He spent the time while she was filming SWATH setting up their new homes in LA and taking care of their pets and working on his own things. You know he visited her several times. They always give each other space when working. You have no clue about “real boyfriends” because you have never had one. Especially not one who works in movies. And they have spent the majority of THIS year together. He followed her to Paris to see OTR, he followed her to her junket in England for his birthday weekend instead of being with his friends and family. They are only apart now due to work obligations.

You and your “time apart” words mean nothing to them or any of us sane people. That was more than evident in everything we saw and heard from Cannes. Witnesses who were there all said they looked more in love than ever. FWB’s don’t live together, share pets together, travel all over the world together, etc. You are the one who needs a REALITY CHECK and realize that they are together. Just be a decent fan for once and wish the best for them and their happiness. Whatever happens in the future happens and none of us can control that.

You nonsten just look ridiculous now to everyone in the world who can see how solid they are. I just LMAO when I saw your post. Was wondering how long it would take you to come up from under your bed crying.

  • Linda

Hey – there’s some good reviews for Snow White and the Huntsman on Rotten Tomatoes. It’s listed right now at 83%. I’m sure the nonstens will say that the film is good because of Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth, and not Kristen Stewart. Likewise, if OTR receives negative reviews it’s Kristen’s fault even though Garrett Hedlund and Sam Riley are the main characters!! The girl simply can’t win.

  • Jillian

Rob was in Paris during Fashion week to meet with the French director of Mission Blacklist and to get his wardrobe for the Cosmopolis promotion and Cannes ready. He had to have fittings, and they took place then.

He was working, it wasn’t a trip to get himself photographed at a fashion show. He doesn’t play that game. If KStew’s publicist didn’t have the paps on speed dial, there would have been no pics of him going about his business. You notice there were only shots of him when she was around. Funny how that works. He was able to conduct his business there without being bothered by paps.

  • Maria

OTR was a bomb and SWATH is getting bad reviews, too, like this one.
    THE TELEGRAPH
The design and effects are good but Snow White and the Huntsman is disappointing fare.
    By Tim Robey, Film Critic

As exhibits for a personality profile — and also as mass-market blockbusters, for rather different audiences — the two movies are chalk and cheese. It’s certainly hard to imagine Kristen Stewart’s incarnation of Snow White attempting to whistle while she worked — all you’d get is a pained screech.

  • JessieB

@Jillian- So where is your proof to back up your claim as to why Rob was Paris? He was with her the whole time she was there. So Kristen has the papz on speed dial. What an ignorant, delusional bitch you are. Geuss you didn’t get the memo that Rob was not shy showing how he felt about Kristen in Cannes. You nonstens are in for some nasty surprises.

@Maria- Spoken like a true Kristen hating bitch. OTR was anything but a bomb, and Kristen is being praised for her portrayal of MaryLou. As for SWATH the majority of the ones I have seen are excellent on both the movie and Kristen. Look at some of the reviews on Rotten Tomatos, and there are quite a few negative’s on Hunger Games. SWATH is going to be huge. As is always the case Kristen gets the last laugh.

  • Maria

And the bad reviews for SWATH just keep on coming. Time Out hated it, just 1 out of 5 stars!!! That’s horrible!!! I knew that first time director was in way over his head, and this proves it:

Perhaps the filmmakers thought that having Stewart strap on a scabbard and go looking for some queenly ass to kick would make this a modern girl-power parable, but in fact the opposite is true: by placing so much focus on Theron’s preening, psychologically scarred Ravenna, the film feels deeply reactionary. The tone is wildly uneven, skipping from humourless knockabout slapstick to bizarre psychedelic whimsy to sub-‘Game of Thrones’ swordplay without ever getting close to likeable or charming. Witless, heartless and dull. Even the Twi-hards are going to want their money back.

  • JessieB

@Maria- Why are you nonsten bitches so stupid?? You do realize there only 10 reviews so far, and the few that slam Kristen are obvious haters that hardly even talk about the actual movie because thy are so focused on their personal thoughts of Kristen. Not to mention the fact that most of the reviewers are stalking Kristen’s imdb page and posting links to their “reviews”. Desperate much?? Come back after June 1 and when the real reviews come in.

  • Anonymous

The French director lives in NYC, lol!!!! What is even your point? What are you even trying to prove? It just looks like you are trying to convince yourself of your delusions. When he was done with his screening in NYC he went to Paris and stayed with Kristen until the day she left. All the things you list could have been done in two days and anywhere else. I bet you that is when he saw On the Road for the first time, you know the movie that he says she’s “amazing” in!

Kristen has said rob is her boyfriend, time to accept reality.

Cosmopolis got a cold reception at Cannes? You must be insane. It got an 8 minute standing ovation, the longest of any film at the festival. How is that cold? The critics there gave it a 7.5 out of 10, and it’s had a majority of good reviews so far, especially Rob’s performance.

    http://www.variety.com/review/VE1117947638/
While commercial reach will be limited to the more adventurous end of the specialty market, Robert Pattinson’s excellent performance reps an indispensable asset.

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/film/filmreviews/9290609/Cannes-201 2-Robert-Pattinson-in-Cosmopolis-review.html
    4/5
At its heart is a sensational central performance from Robert Pattinson – yes, that Robert Pattinson – as Packer. Pattinson plays him like a human caldera; stony on the surface, with volcanic chambers of nervous energy and self-loathing churning deep below.

    http://www.empireonline.com/empireblogs/under-the-radar/post/p1243
For Robert Pattinson, however, this is another league, and his celebrity status certainly suits the part. But Cosmopolis does prove that he has the chops, and he parlays his cult persona beautifully into the spoiled, demanding Packer, a man so controlling and ruthless that only he has the power to ruin himself. Lean and spiky – with his clean white shirt he resembles a groomed Sid Vicious – Pattinson nails a difficult part almost perfectly, recalling those great words of advice from West Side Story: You wanna live in this crazy world? Play it cool.

    http://www.timeout.com/film/reviews/91485/cosmopolis.html
That said, there’s a consistent air of charged, end-of-days menace running through the film, which Cronenberg handles with an unbroken sense of precision and confidence. He’s well-served, too, by a leering, disintegrating Pattinson, giving a commanding, sympathetic portrait of a man being consumed by his own vanity and power.

    http://insidemovies.ew.com/2012/05/25/cannes-robert-pattinson-in-cosmo polis/
Cosmopolis, which premiered this morning, may star the Most Coveted Sexy Franchise Heartthrob in the Universe, Robert Pattinson,
Robert Pattinson, pale and predatory even without his pasty-white vampire makeup, delivers his frigid pensées with rhythmic confidence, but he’s not playing a character, he’s playing an abstraction — the dapper gazillionaire hotshot who flies too close to the sun, but he likes it up there, so f— you!

    http://www.filmoria.co.uk/2012/05/cannes-film-festival-2012-cosmopolis -review/
    5/5
But the film’s true driving force (excuse the pun) is Pattinson’s utterly fearless, audacious and sizzling performance. Both Twilight stars have now had films here in Cannes and both Kristen Stewart and Pattinson have given some of the festival’s strongest roles. Packer is a multi-layered, cynical and chillingly captivating character; Pattinson’s darkly comic and distressingly real performance here embodies everything Cosmopolis desires to express; he whispers and scuttles but his manners and aura leave a deafening echo hanging in the tainted, dystopian atmosphere.

    http://www.littlewhitelies.co.uk/blog/cosmopolis-cannes-film-festival- 2012-20491
Robert Pattinson is magnetic as Eric Packer, slick, jaded 26-year-old CEO of Packer Capital who decides to take a fleet of Limousines across across New York City in search of a haircut. This is his best performance to date by some considerable margin. Yes, even better than Remember Me.

    http://www.hammertonail.com/reviews/cosmopolis-film-review/
The smartly cast (or is it expertly used…?) Robert Pattinson plays Eric Packer, a 28-old billionaire NYC asset manager who starts questioning the capitalist order of things, as well as spiraling down into the bog of existential fears.

I could go on, there are dozens of great reviews.Cosmopolis is a critical success and it’s already doing well at the European box office.

  • Bunny

The SWATH RT score keeps going down, it’s at 52 now, which is ROTTEN. OTR is at 33, even worse. But there’s time for SWATH to catch up, I have faith that the critics will be honest and report on how bad it is and how badly miscast KStew was.

She’s just not Snow White, not in any version. She looks ridiculous in that velvet dress, she’s too short to carry it off, and if that was real armor, she wouldn’t even be able to stand in it. Most of her riding was done on a fake horse and it shows. She has no chemistry with either the huntsman or the prince and it’s offensive how she wants to drag out the triangle, very much like Bella wanting to have her cake and eat it, too. It shows that the script had to be rewritten 4 times, and they never did get it right.

  • Donald

And then there is Kristen Stewart as Snow White. Her performance is uneven, and while that’s a step up from her portrayal of Bella Swan in the “Twilight” films, it’s not really enough to carry the movie. Oh, she’s not bad, and at times she’s good. Just not all the time.

…unsatisfying fairy tale revision. Snow White is special because she has to be for the story to work, not because director Rupert Sanders, the trio of screenwriters or Kristen Stewart give us any reason to believe it.

…and then the Huntsman (Chris Hemsworth), who with a gruff Scottish accent and axe-throwing skills frequently seems as bored to be stuck with Snow White as we are.

  • Wtf

You and bunny need to catch up. SWATH is 83% and the reviews are great.

  • Arod

No, you need to catch up.It’s at 47 and it keeps going down as they add more reviews because it sucks. Kristen is not Snow White, she’s the anti-SW, and no one wants to see that.

This is going to be another huge bomb for her. Variety just said the budget was $175 million or more, so there’s no way it will make a profit. Or a sequel, unless it’s just about Charlize and KS is not in it at all. You can see all the special effects and locations, it had to cost way more than they tried to make people believe. I knew those early numbers were wrong, and now the truth is coming out.

  • Wtf

Again, hater YOU need to catch up. Rupert Sanders the director himself said the budget was 70 million, so I will believe him over variety, and Kristen is getting alot of good reviews for SWATH.

  • http://www.primeinformationcenter.com/ Shandra Lemay

“I would love to work with him again,” adds the Snow White and The Huntsman star.
