Kristen Stewart Returning As Snow White Is Possible, Says Chris Hemsworth (VIDEO)
Stewart played the title character in 2012’s Snow White and the Huntsman, but she didn’t reprise her role in the film’s spinoff/sequel, The Huntsman: Winter’s War, which is centered around Hemsworth’s character. When asked during an interview if he’d like to see Stewart come back for a potential follow-up to the new movie, the actor said, “Yeah, she was fantastic. [The first] was a great film and she helped set up what we’re doing now.”
Hemsworth added, “I’d love to work with her again, and if we have the opportunity to pick up that story again, I think there’s a lot of room for creative, different versions of what we’ve already done.” The actor further elaborated on one of the reasons why the focus is no longer on Snow White, explaining, “The goal here was to do something different and then whether we segue back into that world, who knows?”
The Huntsman: Winter’s War, which also stars Charlize Theron, Emily Blunt, Jessica Chastain and Sam Claflin, hits theaters on April 22. Watch Hemsworth discuss the possibility of Stewart returning as Snow White in a future sequel.
