Kristen Stewart NOT Quitting Acting For Directing, Despite Report
Kristen Stewart is NOT quitting acting to become a full-time director, despite an inaccurate webloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this claim. We’re told it’s not true.
As Gossip Cop reported, Stewart premiered her short film, Come Swim, at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this week. Celeb Dirty Laundry notes this in a new article and then asks, “Is she looking to quit acting for good?” The repeatedly discredited outlet goes on to claim that supposed “insiders” are saying that Stewart is “no longer interested in being an A-list Hollywood star.”
The site also notes that Stewart recently co-authored a research paper about the use of artificial intelligence in filmmaking, a technique she used to create impressionistic painting effects in her short film. The site, however, deemed the actress’s paper a “bizarre rant,” despite it having been published through the Cornell University Library and co-written by a special effects engineer.
Naturally, the webloid doesn’t have a single source to back up its bogus claims, but Gossip Cop still checked in with a reliable source close to Stewart, who exclusively assures us she isn’t planning on quitting acting. The site’s assertion that simply because Stewart is embarking on a directing career means she’s no longer an actress is just ridiculous and untrue.
