How is going to a movie premiere or after party “looking unclassy?” Rob looks like a winner to me, having friends like Adele and other pop stars at the top of their fields. His first love is music, why shouldn’t he go out and have a good time? He’s got several projects already lined up, to start filming later this year. Do you ever see all the pictures of them together and how they act together. They are definitely a couple and they make it work by seeing each other as much as possible. It’s been a while since my last Twi-Bites column. There have just been so many Twi-hard topics that have required more in-depth analysis. However, with the recent release of the “Breaking Dawn-Part 2″ teaser, “Twilight” stimuli (Twi-uli?) is starting to flow fast and furious.

Not being able to pick just one thing to talk about, I’ve decided it’s time to bring back Twi-bites and easily distill all of this month’s Twi-hard–worthy news into easy-to-swallow nuggets. Imagine them wrapped with bacon and stuffed with cheese for maximum enjoyment.

Drowning in New Vampires

Unless you’ve been trapped under parking-garage concrete (sorry, “True Blood” reference), you’ve seen the new “Breaking Dawn – Part 2″ teaser that Summit released on June 20, a.k.a. Edward Cullen’s 111th birthday. Predictably, it looks epic. I mean, it has to after “Breaking Dawn – Part 1″ suffered the worst reviews of any “Twilight Saga” installment and any of director Bill Condon’s films (however, not as bad as screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg’s “Step Up”).

There are numerous things to be psyched about. Chief among them is the number of new vampires with interesting new powers. While Stephenie Meyer is already financially set for six lifetimes, she could easily make millions more on various spin-offs starring these vampires: Alistair, Garrett, the Amazon clan, etc. She wouldn’t even have to write them, just farm them out like the “Bourne” series.

R.Pattz’ Career in Jeopardy?

I’m an R.Pattz believer. While I won’t claim to have enjoyed “Water for Elephants” or “Bel Ami,” I understand why he took the roles. He’s trying to break out of the Edward Cullen typecasting. Unfortunately, he’s choosing films that aren’t helping his case as a post-”Twilight” leading man. Over in the U.K., “Bel Ami” and “Cosmopolis” are tanking at the box office.

What roles should he be taking instead? Anything by Lee Daniels, I say. That dude made us believe Mo’Nique is a Academy Award-worthy actress and that Billy Bob Thorton is not creepy in a sex scene with Halle Berry.

K.Stew is Rich, Bee-yotch

Unlike her boyfriend, Kristen Stewart is killing it. “Snow White and the Huntsman” is second to “Madagascar 3″ at the box office this month and Forbes just named her the highest-paid actress in Hollywood. That has to be emasculating for Pattinson. I bet when they’re on a date, Robert reaches for the check and Kristen just laughs and says, “Ahh, that’s cute. He thinks he has money.” Then she pulls out her American Express black card and buys the entire restaurant. I can’t confirm that, just hypothesizing here.

We’re so used to it, we sometimes forget how totally hot she can be. Thanks to this month’s issue of Vanity Fair for reminding us that she’s a woman and not Scout from “To Kill A Mockingbird.”

In the set of photos, K.Stew wears elegant dresses that the women in “Downton Abbey” would think are “overdoing it” and looks like she was born in them. Now, if we can only get her to show up for a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, I can die a happy Twi-hard.

Backstreet Who?

For our final Twi-bite of the month, we have an absurd tidbit from E! Online. This weekend my “Twilight” news alert sent me the headline, “Backstreet Boys Star Taking on Twilight and True Blood?!”

For those of you too young to remember Backstreet Boys, think One Direction but older, creepier and American. I got worked up, wondering why any 40-year-old who still calls himself a “boy” feels justified in “taking on” either vampire hit. Well, it turns out the boy (man) band member, Kevin Richardson, is just playing a vampire in an upcoming B-movie and E! is trying to stir the pot by asking Richardson if he’s familiar with either series. Turns out, he likes “True Blood” and hasn’t seen “Twilight,” but says nothing negative about it.
So, Twi-hard threat averted, you can go back to not caring about Kevin … who again?

Why do people feel the need to defend their relationship? It’s nobody’s business! Some seem to get a little ferocious…Huh…looks like some need to get a life.

I’m always surprised at the staggering amount of comments that a KS and/or RP article receives. (Yes, I know I’m adding to the comments.)

I’m also mystified by all the feuding. We do not know these people. Does it really matter if KS and RP are dating or not? And, if you truly believe that their relationship is a publicity stunt it is one that is obviously paying off since you’re giving it any thought.

Why are people so vicious towards KS? I’m a fan of the Twilight books/movies and although I think she is really beautiful I am a but underwhelmed with KS’s acting ability yet I don’t feel the need to say terrible horrible things about her. So, she curses a lot in her interviews? I don’t like cursing so I don’t read them. I don’t need to hate on her for it.

Somehow all this drama about people that we don’t actually know needs to stop. Either the KS haters need to keep all their horribly negative comments to themselves our the KS fans just need to ignore it. Someone needs to take the first move to end all the insanity :-D

I’m a huge fan of both Rob and Kristen but that doesn’t mean we can’t be honoust about their work. I hated Rob in Little Ashes and also in Bel Ami, he constantly looks constipated. I loved him in water for elephants and Remember me (didn’t get good revieuws either remember!!!)
I loved her in Welcome to the Rileys and SWATH but I didn’t like The Runaways.
Why are we comparing careers. They both can be proud of what they’ve accomplished so far.
They are both very succesful young actors with a lot of fans who wish them all the best.

When you can provide your proof not things you have heard but proof in pictures, interviews, and statemenst from R/K costars, producers and directors who workd with them in the Twilight Saga proving they are pr, and proof that none of those same people talked about them as a couple then I will say I was wrong. Show me pictures from when R/K started dating until now with Rob rubbing another females ass like he does Kristen’s or him holding another female as close to his side as he can get. Show me proof of Rob saying he hates Twilight, or him not stating that Kristen was the reason he even did Twilight. Show me proof of Rob not admiring Kristen or talking about her constantly.

Sorry, but Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield are a couple. That’s how a couple acts. They are huge stars and they don’t sneak around pretending to be something they aren’t. Oh puh-leeze. Both Jimmy Fallon and Craig Ferguson made fun of KStew last week, pointing out that she’s always known for looking miserable. She has a horrible reputation, she doesn’t just swear, every other word is a curse word. The New Moon cast and director said she swore more than anyone. Her own fans nicknamed her Bitchface. She’s been papped flipping the bird at least a dozen times, screaming hateful things, acting like a brat.

You can try to drag Rob down to her level, but it won’t work. He’s swears occasionally, not as a habit. Almost everyone who’s 26 has smoked pot, but he’s not stupid or arrogant enough to be caught by a photographer doing it. Other unfounded allegations are just stupid and baseless distractions to try to make her look better, but she’s the well known pot head, not him.

And he’s quit smoking while she was still seen with a cigarette in Australia. Her bad habits seem to be hard to shake.

They’re not stupid, unlike other celebs, Pattinson and Stewart do not advertise whatever kind of a relationship they have. They respect themselves, each other and value their privacy too much to get cheap like that. The paps are not after Stone, Garfield, Lawrence or Hoult. Unfortunately, for Pattinson (especially) and Stewart, the paps are chasing after them 24/7, 7days a week, always giving them bad publicity and writing all kind of crap about these two. No wonder they don’t want to give the paps more reasons to trash them all around by revealing the intimate details of their lives.It’s classy, not trashy.I was hoping that with Hunger Games , the Twilight absurdity will fade away, but it didn’t happen. I’m glad the franchise is almost over, perhaps then, Pattinson and Stewart will be left alone.

In my language there are in fact male and female (and also neuter) words, Freundin is the female form of Freund (friend), but the common usage of Freundin means girlfriend. No matter if you live in Germany, Austria or the German-speaking part of Switzerland, Freundin is the usual common parlance for girlfriend. Buffy was right to post my question to her blog here. While it’s obvious that this pregnancy rumor is a load of BS, it is also obvious that K & R are a couple. They are not hiding it as much as before. There are many candid photos of them, that are not paparazzi photos of them together, like the one at the wedding sitting next to her with his arm around her, and many others. Just like they popped up in NJ, they can be together and most of us wouldn’t know it. I wish that people could just be happy for them.

And he may only be in Aust for a short amount of time, as his role is not a lead role in that. So really, for the past three years both have had demanding work commitments, along with media scrutiny…if they have survived that, I’m pretty sure they can survive a few weeks without each other. But really..it’s their relationship..they will make the decisions…you just wishing Rob and Kristen to break up, and saying he doesn’t take her into consideration is a really ugly thought. Mission Blacklist and Rover are indies, not big studio movies. The others haven’t even secured financing yet.

Yes, we’re talking about films over the next two years, not the next 2 months. It’s called being in pre-production. Who cares if ScarJo commits to Hate Mail? Her part can be easily cast. It’s an ensemble, and Phillip Seymour Hoffman has already committed.

Cosmopolis hasn’t even opened in the US and it won’t until August, so it’s a bit premature to talk about it like it’s all over. Independent films have staggered release dates, that’s the way they roll.

I wouldn’t brag about her abilities as a box office draw, since SWATH still hasn’t made a profit and all her indies bomb.

@Taylor: Kristen’s SWATH is not a bomb. It has almost doubled its budget so far at 334,000,000 worldwide, plus there will be ancillary revenue (DVD’s Blu-ray etc.).

I think robert and kristen will make great parents i believe in that because they are my favourite actors ever they make twilight look so real and the way they were in braeking dawn part 1 with the baby was as if they’ve had a baby before apart from they aren’t vampires in real life i believe in them all them i hate it when they braek up because they are such a great couple together. x
