Kristen Stewart in “Snow White” Rumor

Kristen Stewart‘s name is at the center of rumors surrounding Snow White and the Huntsman.

Right now, the Twilight Saga actress “looms large” for the title character role, according to Deadline.

Due to scheduling conflicts, Viggo Mortensen has become the most likely Huntsman, replacing Michael Fassbender.

Charlize Theron is attached to the project as the Evil Queen. Rupert Sanders is due to direct.

Gossip Cop is looking into the Stewart casting rumor, but it’s still extremely early in the process, with most major pieces still in flux.

    i hope she gets the role. because from the cast that are going to play this i’m sure it’s not just a big movie it’s going to be a great dark movie. i think kristen stewart accepts the role. she’s gonna shine in it.

    i think she is perfect for the role or she should do belle instead if they did the movie beauty and the best but either one she do it awesome.

    Am I the only one that realizes what a terrible actress she is? I love twilight as much as the next person but not because of the acting at all. She was most suited for her role in The Cake Eaters as a girl with a neuromuscular disease because of how awkward her acting style is. Casting her would be a sure way to ruin a beloved story.

    NO Way! This is a kids movie and she has already shown she does not do well with kids as fans. Emily would be great for this part IMHO. My 6 yr old loves twilight and I’ve already had to explain why “HER” Bella has been seen smoking pot and flipped the bird more than once at pappz. a 6 yr old needs her fantasy movies to be that and not the drama of someone who can’t handle fans with gratitude and appreciation. So please not the Stew.

    Kristen would make an AMAZING Snow White!!! I really hope this isn’t just a rumor….and to MarySway…you do know that this is not a kids film right??? And if you’ve read the Twilight books yourself, you would know that they’re not necessarily for children either. I mean sex, fighting, burning of bodies, a painful labor, and tons of killing….yeah…how did you explain that to your six year old? Plus, there NO proof that Kristen smoked pot, and if she did, screw it! It’s legal in California!

    the twilight series, i believe was aimed for young adults meaning 16 and older yes?….if so, i wouldnt allow a 13 yr old reading it since even at that age, some tend to mix fantasy with reality

    i don’t know why her jealous haters comment here. she can’t act?! please give me a break you defiantly hadn’t seen her other movies. and by the way you think you know better than experts like Jodie Foster or Sean Penn or Amy Adams or Melissa Leo , Micheal Hurt , should i continue and name the other actors and directors and critics or is it enough names for instance.

    @ Aryanaz Thank you someone that actually makes sense. Everyone has a right to their own opinon on her acting skills you DONT have to like her just dont watch her movies then but to go on rants about Kristen personally is ridiculous….you dont know her from a hole in the wall!

    Great advice goldigger99 for a very confused marysway. Why would ANYONE think Twilight was something for a 6 year old! ? YIKES!! I am so tired of people who are in such a hurry for their kids to grow up or they are too selfish to realize that their kids are not old enough for something they want to enjoy.

    I hope that she gets the role. She would be wonderful in it. I don’t understand all of this jealous hatred to this girl. Even though not all her films have been financially successful, believe me it was not because of her acting. I have seen all of her films. We don’t realize how a terrible actress she is, because simply she is not a terrible actress. She is a very good actress, respected by every actor, director, producer that she has worked with. I hope that, if this role will be a true opportunity for her, that she gets it.

    @Marysway, you probably wouldn’t be taking your six year old to see this version of “Snow White” anyway, this will not be a children’s story but a much darker version of the tale, not a Disney version. The original version also was not Disney version either, it was quite scary.
