Kristen Stewart To Be Honored At New York Film Festival
Kristen Stewart will be honored at the upcoming New York Film Festival, it was announced Tuesday. The actress will be sitting down for a conversation as part of the Film Society of Lincoln Center’s “An Evening With…” series, and three of her new movies will also be screened at the event.
As Gossip Cop reported, it was announced earlier this month that Stewart’s films Personal Shopper and Certain Women will screen at the NYFF this fall. Ang Lee’s war drama Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk, in which Stewart co-stars in a supporting role, has since been added to the festival’s lineup. The “An Evening With Kristen Stewart” event will include a dinner and discussion with festival director Kent Jones.
Stewart is one of two performers being lauded with their own “An Evening With…” section, which recognizes actors and actresses who have made significant artistic contributions to film. The other honoree is Adam Driver, whose new drama Paterson will debut at the festival. Past participants in the series have included Kate Winslet, Ethan Hawke, Richard Gere, Cate Blanchett, and many more.
The 54th annual New York Film Festival is slated to take place September 30 – October 16 at the Film Society of Lincoln Center. “An Evening With Kristen Stewart” will be held on October 5.
