I don’t believe that for a minute. Nor do I believe the so-called “relationship” between Stewart and Pattinson has ever been anything more than a private agreement between her and him to act those parts. I think Ms. Stewart was ill-advised to get involved in a relationship that had no goal other than “good PR” from the beginning. Pattinson is a flash in the pan. With the demise of the “Twilight” series, he will soon disappear, but she is a young woman with real talent. According to unverified reports, he’s been having sex with at least two of his former “Twilight” co-stars, and hasn’t even been particularly careful to conceal that fact. She would be much better advised, even if she has some personal issues to deal with, to bite the bullet, dump this pretense of a relationship, and move on with her life.

I don’t think Rob would let Kristen buy her own engagement ring, and we will be the last ones to know when Rob does propose to her. I think they will get married with no one suspecting anything, and then announce it after it’s done. Can you imagine the chaos if anyone knew when and where they will get married.

Not being able to pick just one thing to talk about, I’ve decided it’s time to bring back Twi-bites and easily distill all of this month’s Twi-hard–worthy news into easy-to-swallow nuggets. Imagine them wrapped with bacon and stuffed with cheese for maximum enjoyment.

Drowning in New Vampires

Unless you’ve been trapped under parking-garage concrete (sorry, “True Blood” reference), you’ve seen the new “Breaking Dawn – Part 2″ teaser that Summit released on June 20, a.k.a. Edward Cullen’s 111th birthday. Predictably, it looks epic. I mean, it has to after “Breaking Dawn – Part 1″ suffered the worst reviews of any “Twilight Saga” installment and any of director Bill Condon’s films (however, not as bad as screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg’s “Step Up”).

There are numerous things to be psyched about. Chief among them is the number of new vampires with interesting new powers. While Stephenie Meyer is already financially set for six lifetimes, she could easily make millions more on various spin-offs starring these vampires: Alistair, Garrett, the Amazon clan, etc. She wouldn’t even have to write them, just farm them out like the “Bourne” series.

R.Pattz’ Career in Jeopardy?

I’m an R.Pattz believer. While I won’t claim to have enjoyed “Water for Elephants” or “Bel Ami,” I understand why he took the roles. He’s trying to break out of the Edward Cullen typecasting. Unfortunately, he’s choosing films that aren’t helping his case as a post-”Twilight” leading man. Over in the U.K., “Bel Ami” and “Cosmopolis” are tanking at the box office.

What roles should he be taking instead? Anything by Lee Daniels, I say. That dude made us believe Mo’Nique is a Academy Award-worthy actress and that Billy Bob Thorton is not creepy in a sex scene with Halle Berry.

Unlike her boyfriend, Kristen Stewart is killing it. “Snow White and the Huntsman” is second to “Madagascar 3″ at the box office this month and Forbes just named her the highest-paid actress in Hollywood. That has to be emasculating for Pattinson. I bet when they’re on a date, Robert reaches for the check and Kristen just laughs and says, “Ahh, that’s cute. He thinks he has money.” Then she pulls out her American Express black card and buys the entire restaurant. I can’t confirm that, just hypothesizing here.

For our final Twi-bite of the month, we have an absurd tidbit from E! Online. This weekend my “Twilight” news alert sent me the headline, “Backstreet Boys Star Taking on Twilight and True Blood?!”

For those of you too young to remember Backstreet Boys, think One Direction but older, creepier and American. I got worked up, wondering why any 40-year-old who still calls himself a “boy” feels justified in “taking on” either vampire hit. Well, it turns out the boy (man) band member, Kevin Richardson, is just playing a vampire in an upcoming B-movie and E! is trying to stir the pot by asking Richardson if he’s familiar with either series. Turns out, he likes “True Blood” and hasn’t seen “Twilight,” but says nothing negative about it.
So, Twi-hard threat averted, you can go back to not caring about Kevin … who again?

No, Lill, you’re a big fat liar. After Twilight Rob is the only actor to be in a film that made a profit, and in fact, 2 films. Both Remember Me and Water For Elephants made a profit. None of KStew’s indies did that, not Welcome to the Rileys, or the Yellow Handkerchief or The Runaways. They were all bombs, epic failures, not even earning back their production budgets.

So Bel Ami and Cosmopolis are both still in theaters around the world. Cosmopolis doesn’t even open in the US until August, so it’s just stupid to say it’s failed, especially when it’s Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes and a lot of fans in the US can’t wait to see it.

Who cares if KS got a big paycheck? She got horrible reviews for SWATH, some of the worst ever, for any actress. And as usual, she had two co-stars who really attracted the audience. She’s proved for the past ten years that all her indies bomb and audiences don’t like her. Now the critics don’t like her in SWATH, either. So check Box Office Mojo before you try to spread more lies in the future.

You need a reality check.. Bel-Ami tanked as did Cosmopolis. You can go look at deadline, movieline, just about any site and you will see it’s true. Bel Ami debuted on Cable — for free — we taped it — prior to hitting theaters under very limited release.

SWATH a failure? The hell you say. Here is your reality check.

Finally SWATH gets the recognition that fans have been waiting for since its June 1st opening. In other words, finally giving SWATH its props…its just due.

SWATH was supreme among the sea of 3D IMAX summer blockbusters which opened in June. Being only a 2D film, Box Office Mojo reports that SWATH was one of the films that topped the $50 million mark making $56.2 million in its opening weekend. It also came in second overall with a total $144.3 million domestically only to the mega children’s 3D IMAX hit Madagascar which made $176.5 million. Afro Circus just could not be beat.

SWATH beat out highly touted 3D IMAX Prometheus (considered Ridley Scott’s Alien comeback film) which came in a disappointing 4th only making $116.7 million. Brave came in 3rd with $121.4 million

BO Mojo states, “Its no Lord of the Rings for sure, but its on pace for a final tally around $155 million, which is admirable for this revisionist fairy tale. In comparison, the most recent Narnia movie and Universal’s Robin Hood only earned $104.4 million and $105.3 million, respectively.”

No it’s no LOTRs. The story does not take up hundreds of pages in a novel but only a handful of pages in a children’s fairy tale. However, Director Rupert Sanders placed SWATH on a grand scale visually; Colleen Atwood created costumes that are second to none in the industry; and the cast was top-notched which does rival LOTRs. SWATH also has the potential to reach over $350 million worldwide in this competitive summer box office season. Not bad, not bad at all.

So, congratulations to Universal, Director Rupert Sanders and the entire cast and crew for the film’s success. Now, moving on to the sequel and the release of the DVD.

And I never dreamed of sleeping with Rob, poor Krisbian! I leave that to the old biddies obese Twi-hard.

If you were actually a Rob fan, you would realise that in numerous interviews he has given this year, when asked about “has your Girlfriend seen the movie?” he will go on to say, yes she has. And bring up Kristen’s name. However when asked further about his relationship…Rob said he doesn’t want to talk about his relationship. Never has and never will. Lets see, there was this girl he went to dinner while K was in London… oh… wait… that’s right, they were with something like 5 other people aswell… ok… then it was KP who was photographed w/ him looking at him w/ goo-goo eyes… oh!, my bad… she was IN CARACTER at that award show (i think it was at the PCA’s)… then it must be this blonde girl who was photographed w/ him after KP’s movie… OH!!, THAT’S right… she was from KP’s entourage and was just passing by if you saw the vid… lmfao (ok… if you didn’t notice this was written w/ sarcasm all over it)

He says a lot of rather odd comments on these interviews. For instance on national television “Kristen is pregnant”. See he says things almost like your brother does to get a razz out of you. He laughs and lets it lay there for you people to spend weeks analyzing.
