Kristen Stewart’s Maroon Suit NOT Homage To Robert Pattinson, Despite Report
Kristen Stewart did NOT wear a maroon suit to a red carpet event to pay homage to Robert Pattinson, who wore a similar colored suit to the premiere of 2010’s The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, despite a ridiculous webloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this claim. We’re told it’s “nonsense.”
The actress donned a maroon suit for the premiere of her new movie, Certain Women, at the New York Film Festival earlier this month. And HollywoodLife is now making the absurd claim that Stewart’s choice of outfit was a shout-out to her ex-boyfriend. “Kristen Stewart Channels Robert Pattinson,” blares the site’s headline, which goes on to ask, “Who Wore It Better?”
Without a single source to back up its purely speculative claim, the site says, “It looks like they’re still influencing each other… I guess old habits die hard!” The repeatedly discredited webloid adds, “This isn’t the first time Kristen paid homage to Rob in a maroon suit,” before noting the actress happened to have also worn a maroon outfit to a 2012 photo call for Snow White and the Huntsman.
Despite the site’s entirely theoretical piece being completely preposterous, Gossip Cop still checked in with a source close to Stewart, who exclusively assures us she didn’t wear a maroon suit with Pattinson in mind. We’re told the webloid’s speculation about the actress paying homage to her ex is pure “nonsense.” Of course, we’re not surprised by the outlet’s bogus piece. Gossip Cop recently wrote an article pointing out HollywoodLife’s many made-up Pattinson and Stewart stories. The webloid’s latest attempt to arbitrarily rope the ex-couple into a report together is flat-out ridiculous.
