Kristen Stewart Not Slated to Start ‘K-11′ Anytime Soon

Kristen Stewart‘s post-Breaking Dawn production schedule has been the subject of intense scrutiny, and this week there appears to be a new wrinkle.

The actress is still attached to K-11, a drama directed and co-written by her mother, Jules Mann-Stewart.

Now, IMDb and other outlets claim that K-11 will begin production on June 6.

As Gossip Cop reported, Stewart has also been offered the title role in Snow White and the Huntsman, leading many observers to wonder whether there’d be a potential conflict between the two productions.

There will not be.

Gossip Cop looked into it, and a production source on K-11 told us there’s no official start date as of yet.

Should Stewart and the Snow White filmmakers come to a final agreement on their offer to her, it will in no way interfere with K-11.

Would love to see Kristen Stewart in different roles including Snow White. But, at this moment a big studio movie is probably the best move for her career, a career in the usual Hollywood sense (which may not be what she wants).

obviously the reason she hasn’t agreed on Snowhite is a) K-11 and b) the fact that there is another Snow White that has an earlier release; plus, it’s been proven time&again that studios don’t reveal anything to GossipCop, why would they? Besides, Preproduction for K-11 starts in June 6th, so does preproduction for Snow White; the thing is, which one will she do? Cause now, even Snow White is not a good choice anymore!

I wish Jules Mann-Stewart the best in her endeavors, including K-11 should that move forward. However, I hope that Kristen does not have a significant role in the film. From what I have read of the film, I have no interest in seeing it. As much as I like Kristen, I really don’t think I could force myself to see the film.

I’m a Kristen fan so if she does K11 I’ll see it. From her interviews I have seen/read it seems to me she wants this project. As a fan, that’s good enough for me. Glad to hear that as of now there is no conflict with Snow White, because despite the dueling Snow White films, I’d still love to see her do Snow White and the Huntsman.

she is going to be amazing in any film, she is an amazing actress!!!

there’s this creepy person claiming that they used to live with robert pattinson…its hilarious.
    @Drkside11
they wrote a friggin book about it lmao

Last I heard about K-11, everyone but Kristen backed out of it. Nikki was slated for it and quietly moved on. From what I understand of the plot it will be a film for a small audience. In an interview with her and Robert, I recall Kristen saying that she can’t get funding for it. I wondered why such a hot ticket actress isn’t able to get this movie made. Perhaps the box office dissappointments of Adventureland, The Runaways and Welcome to the Rileys made it clear that her most loyal fans are more interested in Bella than Kristen herself. That’s why they confuse the two.

    I thought Adventureland was cute

  • KateWinterman

It was cute, but her name is not a box office draw and it’s really bizarre that someone with so much media attention and devoted fanbase can’t make a low budget movie break even. Again, I suspect there is a significant confusion of Kristen with the character Bella. On her own, she isn’t interesting to the ticket buying public. Yet many will maintain how fierce she is and how they love her.

All of the people behind her understand this disparity and they struggle to keep her in the spotlight. Problem is, Kristen wants to act, but she doesn’t want to be a celebrity. She wants to live her life as she pleases without the pressure to be Bella, or a starlet, or anything she isn’t. Well. in our culture, you can rarely have both when you aren’t a proven talent.

So she has no choice but to be put on display for public consumption and she resents it – and says so. I don’t think she will be suffered much longer if she can’t expand her fanbase outside of Twilight.

the writer/co-producer said on his twitter that the film is still on, Stewart is very much attached&it will go in production SOON!

  • noraluce

    I agree 100% Ms KateWinterman!

Rob, Kristen and Taylor did an interview sometime around the premiere of Eclipse and Kristen stated that they were having trouble getting anyone to want to produce K-11, no one seemed interested in this project. Could that still be the problem with starting this movie?
