Kristen Stewart Film “K-11″ In Development, Not Imminent

Before buzz from “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” even died down, chatter about Kristen Stewart‘s upcoming slate of films – including “The Runaways” and “Welcome to the Rileys” – picked up.

Now there are online rumors that “K-11,” directed by Stewart’s mother Jules Mann-Stewart and costarring “Twilight” mate Nikki Reed, might be postponed or lost in the mix. Spurred by initial reports that had filming scheduled for last summer and then for January 2010, fans began to worry that the production had encountered major problems.

A source close to Stewart tells Gossip Cop the film is in development but not shooting in January. It was described to us as happening but not imminent, because several elements still had to come together, including Stewart’s schedule.

    If Ms. Stewart had half a brain and she does she would never make this garbage, the script is absolute trash. As is the entire thing.

    She needs to branch out and do movies like Angelina Jolie and Halle Berry have, both are Oscar winners and very savvy women.

    Thanks GC It would be good for Kristen to support her mums work but isnt there meant to be news on another yfilm American Girl in January? John Woods did say early Jan we would hear more, now thats a stor with some grit a great role for Kristen. Any news on this one?

    I wonder what is imminent. I don’t believe James Woods has An American Girl with a studio yet and BD won’t be filming until later next year. Other than that, she has promo for The Runaways and surely WTTRs will be out there for us to see next year after Sundance. Oscar nom hopefully coming up soon.

    While I think KStew will get an Oscar nod one day, I don’t think it’s going to be any time soon. I think she’s going to end up distancing herself from Twilight and end up doing something epic.

    How is her schedule that busy? She has to attend Sundance festival for her 2 movies, another movie and BD not really scheduled yet, am I right? I don’t understand, I probably missed something, what does she have in January (or early 2010 for that matter) that creates schedule conflicts? *is confused*
