I don’t understand why people can’t just be happy that Rob and Kris are happy together, Everytime we see them ejoying their lives some crapy stories comes up to destroy their relationship or when they are mot together people assume their break up. The nonsens are desperate. Kristen was asked at the MTV Awards if she and Rob were working on a script together. She said that they are always working. So now the nonstens took that to confirm their relationship was PR. Because apparently working on actual movies doesn’t count.

That is exactly what comes on my mind. The nonstens are getting crazier and crazier. Their melt down is really coming. They don’t know what to do anymore. They are circling around and chasing their own tail now.

The nonstens here are the only people who are not happy of Rob & Kristen being together.

My God, what is it about some people not wanting to admit that Robert and Kristen are in a committed relationship? I just don’t get it. You know what I notice, the hollywood couples that you see in the tabloids all the time flaunting whatever, and everything…they are the ones that people oooh and awww about, and do you notice that they are also the ones who break up at the drop of a hat? Robert and Kristen are trying to keep what’s important and special to them just that. They are not going to sell anything. Therefore, they refuse to flaunt it in public and that is what they are constantly getting shit about. Geez…just leave them alone! They are smart and they seem very much in love. Do you see the way their faces light up whenever each one is discussed without the presence of the other one? My God, there are videos and tons of pictures of them supporting each other at Cannes. They are head over heals in love with each other, IT IS SO OBVIOUS! Why can’t people just be happy for them, why?

These two will be together until the last Twilight movie has had its run, then they’ll break up.

Monday:tabloid 1 – they are getting married; Tuesday: Tabloid 2- they are fighting, Wednesday- Kristen is pregnant; Thursday- One of them is gay; Friday- One of them with someone else; Saturday: they are spotted together; Sunday: They are happy, married and have 4 kids; Monday the rumor mill starts all over again. I know this isn’t true but on some other websites they made it sound like Rob was being a douchebag at Cannes I’m not sure what he did but it seems maybe some things went down in Cannes people aren’t happy about? What is that there is a sudden backlash towards Rob now? This is very confusing to follow sometimes which normally I don’t but Im curious as to why people and the mags are turning against Rob he hasn’t done anything lately imo to justify this backlash.

Well I’m sure Paul Newman did not have rabid, crazy fans that hated his wife because they thought she stole him from them. I would also say his obsessed fans were making plans to beat up his wife either. Rob and Kristen were very openly affectionate in Cannes and seem to genuinely be in love.

ITA, I am eagerlly awaiting to see Cosmopolis in August as well. Robert has received such great reviews about his performance, even better than the movie.

Well I was on Hollywood Life I go there because they usually have good stories about nina and Ian or anything vampire diaries related and they said rob did an interview apologizing for his pretentious attitude at cannes but I don’t know what they are talking about what did he say that was so pretentious and bad? N on this article about him whether or not he has staying power in hollywood I read basically I guess bel ami hasn’t been getting good reviews and some people there were saying its because he’s been acting “shady” and stuck up I’ve asked them to explain and am waiting for what they mean. I just don’t understand what he did wrong and why are the kristen fans turning against him?

And people are happy for Rob and Kristen it seems there are specific groups who aren’t and who will never be so why focus on them? No matter what proof you give they will believe they are not a couple that’s fine as long as you believe that’s all that should matter.

@Satine Newman & Woodward were discreet about their relationship because they were taught to be by the studio system they came up as a part of plus they knew the press would twist anything they said and often did. Rob & Kristen don’t have the bennefit of the studio system nor the talent that Paul & Joanne did so they are an easier target.

I thought it was no secret that she left his afterparty early, and he went on to another. There’s video of her going back to her hotel lobby with her entourage but Rob isn’t the guy with his arm around her shoulder in that video.

The shots of her sprinting into a hotel was them arriving at the afterparty, not them going back to the hotel together. They split up at the first Cosmopolis afterparty and haven’t been seen together since.

Cosmopolis after party:

I love Paul Newman. But to say that Rob and Kristen are untalented is false. They both got excellent reviews for Cosmopolis and On The Road respectively. You can’t compare them, Newman and Woodward were older than Rob and Kristen, and it was his 2nd marriage. And Rob and Kristen are far from being stupid. Many of you seem to forget that Kristen and Michael started dating after they were in the movie Speak. Kristen was 13 or 14. How many teenagers throughout this world have broken up with their highschool sweethearts? I have seen pictures of Kristen and Michael while they were dating, and while they were a cute couple, they didn’t have the energy and spark that Rob and Kristen have. Kristen did the right thing by ending her relationship with Michael when she realized she had feelings for Rob. Kristen does not bad mouth Michael and he does not bad mouth her. Michael seems to have moved on so anyone who keeps trying to find dirt on Kristen should move on as well.

I would have agreed with you on the twitching and speech breaks before I saw SWATH. I was pleasantly surprised by her performance in that movie. There was some halting in her big rally speech near the end but I decided to sit back and listen to the words and look at their impact and it worked! Still not one of my favourite actors but I did like her a lot in SWATH.

But I absolutely agree with you on the obsession people have over their status…to the point of name-calling and on-line fighting over it. Seriously!! I choose to believe they’re together. Not because I’m a “Robsten” (what a ridiculous name…almost as bad as “Nonsten”) but because I have eyes. However, if someone chooses to believe that they aren’t, who the fark cares??? If you have that much invested in two total strangers’ love lives, I think there must be something terribly lacking in your own life!

She actually said no, they weren’t writing a script together. The fact that they are always working has nothing to do with the 2 of them. He’s working, she’s working, they aren’t working together. Way to twist the truth to fit your agenda.

They aren’t working on anything together and there won’t be another movie with the 2 of them either. He has 6 projects lined up and she won’t be in any of them because not of them involve a teen franchise. They’re films for adults, he’s moved on.

Lindsay said nothing about them working together, right now. But both, Kristen and Robert have said, that they would gladly film together again, if there were an opportunity.

And Rob once said, they plan to write a script together, only not just yet. When Kristen was asked if they write a script, her answer didn’t contradict Rob’s utterance, because, at the moment, both are to busy with other things, to write something together.

Besides, what do you think was OTR? A movies for kids and teens? Kristen has moved on too.

I’m not sure why, but no one has been willing or able to speak truth to box-office power, so let me try:

Robert Pattinson is a terrible actor.

Oh, he’s pretty enough, with his sleepy eyes and pouty lips. Let him play a vampire in the Twilight series and he’s fine, for two reasons:

1) He’s doing a James Dean impression.

2) He’s sharing most of his scenes with Kristen Stewart, who has such a vital screen presence that he benefits from reflected glory.

But put him at the center of an actual movie – as opposed to something presold and predigested like the Twilight films – and he’s revealed as an empty pretty boy, a black hole of talent.

If you don’t believe that, go back and look at Little Ashes, where he was embarrassing as a young Salvador Dali; or Remember Me, a forgettable 9/11 romance; or Water for Elephants, in which he was chewed to pieces by a scenery-gobbling Christoph Waltz (and the elephants themselves).

Or watch him in the new Bel Ami, which opened in limited release 6/8/12, in which he alternately smirks and pouts as a Belle Epoque social-climber. Adapted from a novel by Guy de Maupassant by a pair of directors – Declan Donnellan and Nick Ormerod – Bel Ami follows Pattinson’s character, Georges Duroy, as he clambers from a roach-infested garret to the poshest chambers in 1890 Paris.

He starts with an old army buddy, Forestier (Philip Glenister), who he runs into at a raucous can-can joint and who stakes him to a new set of clothes so he can come for dinner. At dinner, he meets Forestier’s crowd, including the three women who will make his future: Clothilde (Christina Ricci), Virginie (Kristin Scott Thomas) and Madeleine (Uma Thurman).

Duroy leverages his acquaintance with Forestier, who works at a political newspaper, into his own gig on the paper, working for Virginie’s husband, Rousset (Colm Meaney). He takes Clothilde as a lover and begins to enjoy the swank appurtenances that go with life in what passed for the fast lane.

Duroy is canny enough to turn each setback he faces with the various men in his business life into a victory with one of their women. By the film’s midpoint, he has married Madeleine (who is Forestier’s widow) and seemingly become an arbiter of political and social fortunes at Rousset’s newspaper. In fact, he’s a pawn in a much larger scheme, and it’s completely understandable that Pattinson himself would fall prey to it.

But the script is too sketchy by half and Pattinson lacks the resources to show us any inner life of this character. The story’s point is that Georges is both foxy and self-deluding, but Pattinson can’t carry both thoughts at the same time. Georges comes off as a petulant dope, who can think strategically but only in the broadest strokes. As a result, this becomes less a tale of intricate scheming and more one about a lucky dolt who fails upward.

The women are all more than capable, and Meaney is a cagey old pro. But they’re undermined by Pattinson, who gives nothing and drains energy, turning Bel Ami into a kind of holding action between the directors’ attempts to go forward and Pattinson’s determination to sink the ship, simply with his enervating presence.

I don’t think kristen will be in any more movies. In SWOTH she did a terrible job. Her british accent was practically non existent and she had the entire enthusiasm of a sloth. She’a a horrible role model and on every award show or interview she’s practically high out of her mind. I’m sorry, but i don’t see a bright future for her. I’m not saying this out of spite, i don’t think robert pattinson is cute or what not. I’m saying that because she is a terrible actress, what happened to the drew barrymores and emma stones? Those r real actors.
