Kristen Stewart Reflects On ‘Twilight’ On “Ellen DeGeneres Show” (VIDEO)
This marked Stewart’s first time on the talk show since the Twilight Saga ended, and DeGeneres showed pictures of her with the cast from five years ago. Asked how it makes her feel and what she remembers, Stewart joked, “Really uncomfortable hair extensions.” More seriously, she went on, “I look at those photos and I feel like I’m looking at a college yearbook.”
“It was just after what my high school experience would have been, so it feels like just after,” she continued. “I don’t jump right back into those memories, but as soon as you see a picture, you’re like, ‘Ooh, god, that was like yesterday,’ and then it’s not.”
Stewart further told the host, “It was something I was really invested in, mattered to so many people. It was something personal [that] became not the most personal thing. Which is awesome, because to share something like that is great, but at the same time, I was 17 or 18 when it all went down, and that’s kind of the most uncomfortable, weird [time]… It forced me to stand at attention in a way. Who knows if I didn’t have that.”
The star, who was on the program to promote Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk, was also asked about her work on smaller films and winning a Cesar, France’s equivalent to the Oscar. It all culminated in Stewart speaking French! Check out the video below!
