A person has to be fake to some degree to cheat on the first place. Cheating means there are lies involved, behavior in front of people different then otherwise. I have to tell you, that even they did have sex, Kristen is being treated a lot more harshly that Sanders. Even, if he gets kicked off , SWATH, he still not get the bashing that she is getting. The point is, if a man does this, he gets a slap on the wrist, but the woman get vilified, insulted, etc. For all of the attention that Sanders is not getting, Kristen might as well have there by herself.

i think it is not about kristen anymore. it is about who will prevail in this daily arguments and discussions. they will still uphold or support what they believe regardless if it’s right or wrong just to spite the opposing side and outdo with its vile comments in the process.

I can’t say that I know how things played. You can only watch interactions, read interviews (not tabloid rags) but actual video interviews and reputable magazines. Rupert was mesmerized by Kristen, this is a fact, you can actually see him looking adoringly at her. Kristen has said that she felt that she actually had the Director’s attention and her ideas were being taken into consideration, she has mentioned that she would love to direct one day, she was like his apprentice. That is why I say that I am under the impression that he took advantage of the relationship “actor/director” they had. He also was the one who initiated contact that day, he called her. She is at fault for playing her part, but I believe that he pursued her. I am not saying she was a victim. She was a willing participant for whatever the time it lasted, now she is facing consequences.
I am going to try to step away from message boards, because it really doesn’t serve me well.
I stand as a fan next to Rob and Kristen, support them in their career and as individuals. I would love for them to get back together and be able to work things out, because they shared something very special that is hard to find these days. If they decide that they can’t work things out then I will support both of them in their decision, I won’t judge or prefer one over the other. I enjoy their work and the human beings that they are, mistakes and all, we all make them, some bigger than others, like that psycho in Colorado or even today in Texas that killed people and open fired in a public place, now where is the outrage regarding these killers in these public boards, where is the justice, these people killed innocents and yet no one talks about them. We will never know what led her to do what she did but any expert or person who has gone through an affair will tell you that it is because somthing is missing in their relationship, and that for a woman is more of an emotional issue than a physical one. Rupert sensed that and took advantage. People don’t want to hear about the fact that she is 22 but that is a major factor. Also, Kristen and Rob met when she was barely 16 and he was told to back off. Maybe he backed off but remained in the picture waiting. Maybe they did not date until she was 19 but he was in her life from 17 till 22. She has not earned her life since she was 17. He had some years in between to live.

The pappz have hounded them from day one but it was Kristen who got the nasty remarks of a sexual nature. Don’t you remember her father having to accompany her through airports and fight the pappz? She complained about it but she was told that was being an ungrateful bat and a whiner.

I agree that it’s very much possible that Kristen could have pursued the relationship. From her own interviews she was quite in awe of her director (Rupert) and stated that they were real close (everyone assumed of course that she meant professionally). It’s not only men who pursue. Lots of women, especially young ones, pursue men for various reasons: power, looks, wealth, etc. How can Rupert say no? She’s young, pretty, talented. Kristen was probably thinking that Rupert was the next big director a la Spielberg or whoever.

Just saw where OTR was going to be at the TFF. Well, I would hate to be Kristen when she faces the press. I know this is the movie that she is so proud of her boobs in, What a joke. I don’t know what made Kristen do what she did though I’ve wondered. I’ve been reading up on this topic and articles state – like you – that it is not about sex but something missing in the relationship. So, when you have a guy who appears to adore you what could be missing?

I wonder if the “no admitting anything” pact that they had did not backfire in some way. I’m not laying blame I’m just wondering objectively. She has “slipped” in interviews about Rob — “My boyfriend’s English” and other things. While Rob never DENIED anything he never slipped or admitted anything. Which sent the crazy fans into overdrive saying all kinds of crap like: there is no relationship; he doesn’t love her; she’s bringing him down…you remember.
