My theory has always been they first hooked up in Australia at the end of June. He went on to Hawaii with his family and she went back to LA. Kristen never wanted the fame that Twilight has brought her. If you listen to what she says she always thought that Twilight was going to be this cool Indie film. SHE DIDN’T WANT THE FAME. I really doubt this will have any long term impact on Kristen’s career or even Rupert’s for that matter. People cheat. Other people forget. Well there are still months before it starts so a lot of things could happen until then. They could work it out (doubtful), Rob will have been back on the media scene (next appearance is mid-August) and according to how he looks and how he is, people will react accordingly (I mean if he looks fine, even if it’s an act, if he talks about next projects with enthousiasm, people will calm down a bit). Also he could say something to appease people. Who knows he could have gone back to his single life and go out a lot (even if the heart’s not in it). I don’t know until BD2 promo, a lot of things will have occured and we won’t see things the same way we do now. Could get worse (but can it get worse?) or could get better, time will tell.

The word momentary implies one moment or in the way it was used a one time situation. It was an intentional wording to lead people to believe it was a one off. The problem with that was that the intimacy in those pictures made it clear that was obviously not the case.

I agree. I think that’s what blew me away about this betrayal. They looked really happy together and proud of each other in Cannes. When they spoke of one another it seemed so genuine. There are reports that said Rob was the one who wanted public apology, but then others said he was horified and angered by it. I think the tabs are wrong, the shock and humiliation and angry reaction of rob was not towards the public apology but the way the cheating was so publicised. Because it does not add up to the report that he demanded public apology I think he was more horrified and angry at the public apology that she was able to do, just to prove herself to him. Because if anything the public apology makes him get more sympathy as the wronged one, if anyone was humiliated by the public apology it was kristen not rob, why subject your self for further hatred and anger and ridicule with the public apology? Rob was humiliated and angry at the publicised cheating, but horrified and find the public apology horrifying. The way the reports were written contradicted each other, must be because that they did not consider the sequencing. They just wrote it, spin it any way they want because it doesn’t matter all they want are the hits and $. So now with this logic, I think there is really no PR team involved, that’s why it seems a sloppy PR job, her PR remained quiet, maybe because she asked them not to comment, but let her friends give info just to reach out to rob. Ever think of that? Rob is trying to be rational and getting facts, that is if he really wanted to talk to Rupert. If you have been cheated on you would want to talk to the person your partner cheated with, I think others should also think rationally and set aside their emotions for a moment. The world is not black and white, and maybe that’s what they are learning from this, maybe Rob can now understand why people cheat. Last, the hate towards Krsiten is unfair, because if she is someone close to you, someone you loved, someone you know as different and better than being a cheater, you would try to understand and be compassionate. As someone you don’t know, its simple to hate her because it was wrong and againts what you believe.

If you analyse people’s behavior more deeply then you would know how to understand people’s actions. What she did wasn’t narcissistic at all. Being selfish doesn’t mean the person is narcissist. Her behavior was very selfish, I agree, but for what purpose? Sometimes you have to be selfish so that you can get what you want, she said that. Then you ask her, but what is it that you want? Then you know the answer to that is her motivation.

No I don’t think so. If it was, the information would have been more consistent and not cotradictory. The Tabs were spinning this whole scandal into what they want because they get hits. Its sad that people today will label PR to anything they see printed or posted online, without truly understanding what PR is really all about. Can I ask you, how should her PR team have handled this scandal from the moment it hit the web? If you were them what would you do?

I disagree. They had to publicly apologize because there were incriminating pictures showing their hook up. People would have made all sorts of assumptions and the apology was done quickly to try and soften the blow of the pictures. I think Kristen apologized publicly because she probably thought at the time it was the best way to show Rob that she loves him. Alot has happens since they and knowing how humiliated Rob is she probably would have taken a different route had she waited, but she was probably doing why she thought would be the best way for Rob by owning her mistakes and declaring her love for him. In hindsight she probably should have waited.

The thing about all of this is that it’s been an invitation for those who already hate her to hate her more. And any context she offers, apologies, etc are always going to get thrown back in her face by her haters.

I was in London for the premiere of SWATH, to the birthday party of Robert, Sanders ‘Pig’ was not present, to the party only the friends of Robert have participated together with Kristen and to his/her family. STOP.

So far I have believed this story, and that the pics are not fake etc. I still believe that the pics are real, but can anyone comment on this one here please?

It is a post by Ted Casablanca on his Twitter account and I don’t know what to make of it… Well, nobody seems to know what to make of it but I mean, if all of this was allegedly “arranged” as he puts it, is this supposed to mean that all of this was a PR stund? How can this be? I mean aren’t the reputations of all these people at stake? Aren’t their careers at stake and their family lives ruines? Would they seriously endanger all of this just for the sake of some PR for upcoming movies? Apart from that – what kind of PR is that? It would obviously be negative PR as several fans claim they don’t want to watch the final twilight movie because they can’t bear it. And what about that anticipated Snow white sequel? Is it worth to ruin all of this?

When I see Kristens face though on some of the other pics where she is standing at that Hollywood Hill rail, she looks so… I don’t know how to put it… so self-confident, so diefferent as in any other pic with Rob. What is going on in her mind? She feels so carefree without any fear? Why the hell do they choose such non-secretive spot for their meeting?

Does “arranged” mean that Rob k n e w that this was going to happen? Because it was planned by everyone involved?

Oh please don’t think I am a spammer because of the theories that I am going to air now, I am just a Robsten Fan and have always been, and – just as your probably are – desperate for an answer. And in search of this I try to be realistic and play it all through in my mind. Please forgive me if my ideas are too far-fetched. I don’t mean to annoy any Robsten-fans. As I said, I am a Robsten-fan myself. But I don’t know what to believe anymore.

Robert and Kristen never really were a couple. But it was good for them and Summit to make it look like this because of the franchise. Now that the last movie is coming out they gradually want to let go of this fake relationship which would be a normal thing to do so that they can pursue their real lilves. But: how can you end a relationship like that without the huge fandom getting suspicious about it? It would be silly do it right after the final twilight movie coming out because then it would seem too obvious. It would also be silly to do it shortly before it comes out because then it would ruin the joy of the viewers. It would not be good to do it before an important event like Twicon where there is a huge Q&A and the risk of people asking unpleasant questions.

The best timing would be the summer after TwiCon. That still leaves enough time until the last movie comes out for the fans to calm down after a split. They will be sort of at ease by then and can happily go to the movies.

As for Rob and Kristen, they sort of get out of this without anybody doubting that they have ever been together.

But: How can you best create a split-up scenario? Would the fandom understand if they simply said “we have grown apart?”. Maybe a dramatic ending would be better. Rob however can not be the scapegoat because he is the most important part in the Twilight movies. So why not let Kristen be the loser for a while, many fans don’t like her anyway. So let her have an affair then.

I know, I know, I know this sounds all very weird. And as I said, I don’t want to offend anyone.
I hardly believe my own assumptions that I made here because – as I said above – I can’t and don’t want to believe that they would go as far as risking their reputations, box office sales and annoyed fans. And I have no idea why they have Kristen have an affair with a married man instead of any other man who is single and not attached. Would have had the same effect but without any major drama.

The other version is: wa it shamelessly planned by Rupert? Again, I have no idea why…

I actually hope that you will all prove me wrong with your comments. Be angry at me if you like. I can understand you. But please prove me wrong. Because I don’t want to feel fooled in such a way by the Twilight franchise. As I said, i can not really believe my own theory myself.. And maybe I am just another Robsten fan in denial.

The alternative to all of this would be that it simply is true what happened.
But that, I don’t want either. I don’t want Robsten to suffer like this. But I think the fans deserve a proper answer. And right now we are all ***ing lost amids a whirlwind of gossip that can not be ideintiefied as true or wrong anymore despite Gossip Cops huge efforts. Thanks for that by the way.

I don’t think Kristen’s biggest issue right now is PR or even Rob. I think she has some health issues to deal with. This past year she had so many ups and downs and her moods and behavior changed so much. One minute she’s fiery and chatty next she’s withdrawn, then she’s happy, then she’s self destructive. I don’t have much experience but it would not surprise me if she’s been having a manic episode lately. I would like to see her get some professional help and counseling because she’s just not right. And please spare me any replies like “yeah right, she’s in her right mind she’s just selfish, etc.” You should observe first then judge.

Ted Casablanca is an out of work gossip columnist trying to stay relevant. He knows nothing. Do yourself a favor and stop worrying about him. And stop posting about him.

Is this a great big publicity stunt with all involved? So the director and his wife get a bigger profile and Rob and Kristen can finally get away from the Bella and Edward Image and bring their relationship out in the open.

If not can we all give them some space to sort out the mess. No one knows what they were/are thinking now or at the time. Everyone seems to be emotionally invested in the fantasy of Rob and Kristen or should I say Bella and Edward. They have to sort this out at some point because of Breaking Dawn Part 2. Be Patient.

Don’t be stupid. Of the 49 photos that were posted on the Imgur site some of them show more intimacy than the honeymoon scene from BD1. Especially against the white fence in the Hollywood Hills. They were rubbing up against each other, Kristen looked ecstactic in some of the shots, they had their arms stretched over the fence and were stroking each others hands and fingers, she was bending over the fence with the wind blowing in her hair, he was probably telling her how much he loved her.

She made it our business when she issued a public statement.

So, now it’s “hookups” plural, and not a singular hookup and…what was it, misguided indiscretion? That’s even worse. That says their indiscretion occurred multiple times and that it wasn’t just a one time thing. Also, kudos to babypink for pointing out that Kristen really hasn’t released an official apology. So disappointed in her.

Kristen Stewart made this everyone’s business when she issued an public apology for her atrocious behavior and basically gave the ok to the public to flog her. She is in essence saying “I deserve to be insulted, talked about and shamed”. I don’t necessarily agree with that strategy but she has other considerations, such as salvaging a fanbase and essentially her career. You don’t have a movie career without fans.

This is not a set-up nor does she have mental issues. The fact that she’s a 22 year-old who made a mistake is somewhat true but the agregious nature of her actions actually make her look more like an immature, spoiled, entitled, cold-hearted and extremely selfish person. This is much more than a young girl who cheated on her boyfriend and made a mistake like young girls too. She was f*cking her director (her boss), who is twice her age, married and with children and whom her wife she called her friend. She was (is?) going to make ANOTHER movie with this man. A large portion of this is to be put on him, he is the older one and he has the responsibility to mentor and to guide and he abused that. But she is the more famous one who grew up in the business and is part of the hottest young couple in Hollywood. She knows how this works. She had more to lose (I don’t mean to minimize his marraige and children but this guy is essentially a nobody). Now in addition to all of that, she is making herself look like even MORE of a liar by vacillating from “it was a fleeting moment” to “we didn’t have sex (I CANNOT believe her PR team released that detail) to “hookupS that occured over the last few weeks”. She saw these pictures in advance of their release. I cannot believe that she thought that the public (or her boyfriend, for that matter) would buy her BS fleeting moment nonsense in the first place. It was planned and the pictures show habitual contact and familiarity that doesn’t just occur as a moment in time. These two weren’t even working together anymore, they had no reason to see it each other for work reasons. A fleeting moment in time isn’t taking a call to meet at a clandestine place, getting oral sex in the car and driving around all afternoon to dry hump in public. That was a calculated event for which you had ample time to make your judgement call. So it goes from a fleeting moment, no sex was had (right) to hookupS. Because a 41 year-old man is going to be satisfied with a carrying on a dalliance with a hot young girl with no sex. Sure. Ok. She is so desperately trying minimize this and instead should just have owned up to the AFFAIR (because that is what this is) in the first place. Does she need a definition?

The main issue is here is how can ANYONE trust Kristen Stewart anymore? Specifically, her boyfriend (or any boyfriend she has in the future), her female friends & colleagues (would you want her around your boyfriend or husband, no matter how old he is?), her fanbase and the studios who sign her on to do their movies. Let’s not forget that this is a BUSINESS. Studios spend/make millions of dollars by employing a star to make movies for them and make them money. These stars make the studios money because their fanbases come to see their movies. Besides the Twilight Saga, Kristen Stewart has had ONE commercial sucess and now she was busted f*cking the married of director of that movie, when there is a sequel in the works. All of these Hollywood people have issues, and they also have PR teams to cover for their various indiscretions, drug problems and mental problems so that the public buys into an image and so that they can sell their movies. It’s a fantasy. Well, Kristen Stewart just made it real and because of her obvious lack of morals, values and judgement she ruined her relationship and possibly her career. All of which she deserves. It doesn’t help that there are pictures to document this nastiness. She will forever have the images of this middle aged man slobbering all over her while she enjoys every minute of it out there for public consumption. She needs to take some time off from Hollywood, it is obviously too much for her and she is not mature enough to handle the pressures and responsibilities it requires and doesn’t have the proper people her around her to help her navigate through it. She needs to give people time to forget about this, do a lot of growing up and come back and build a new fanbase. I’m not sure that she can accomplish this really, she isn’t that PR savvy and by then she will have outgrown the Twilight connection and her young girl fanbase will have grown up and outgrown her. This is quite frankly the absolute worst thing she could have done to herself careerwise. No one will ever really know what happened, but then again, maybe they will. Her PR team keeps releasing little details like this that keep the people talking. This won’t be going away for awhile. And she better hope there isn’t a sex tape out there to make matters worse. If he divorces his wife, then that will be another blow. But then again, perhaps that will clear the way for her to have a relationsip with him, which may be what she wanted in the first place.

This morning the websites are carrying stories that Robert Pattinson was about to propose when he found out about this and he can’t understand why she keeps lying to him. Also, rampant speculation that he wants a face-to-face with Rupert Sanders. So the humiliation goes on for a guy who has shown himself to be nothing but a class act. The longer he steps back from this the more he will see that this girl is too immature, is deceitful and not only lacks respect for him but for herself. She is not ready to be in a committed relationship. The best thing he can do for her and for himself is to end this. They have a movie to promote soon, so I would expect to see them termporarily “reconcile” in order to salvage the opening but then part ways afterwards. This is all very, very sad. And for inexcusable as her actions were, what she is suffering right now is most certainly punishment enough. It will only get worse for her later, when she realizes what she had and destroyed. I don’t pity her but I do have empathy for the pain she has just caused herself. Self-inflicted pain is the worse kind. Also, please understand that Gossip Cop is a mouthpiece for their publicists, so they aren’t separating fact from fiction at all. They are printing what Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattison’s people want you to hear. No doubt they read these comments too. Ciao!

Why doesn’t anyone see that there were feelings involved between Kristen Stewart and Rupert Saunders? I thought that the 49 pictures made it obvious…the tender carresses and smiles, the linking of their fingers. That’s why it’s considered cheating. It didn’t matter whether or not they had sex…yet if we’re to believe the statement above. Sex was inevitable..until they were caught! Why can’t anyone see that?

Also, look at their statements below and tell me what is missing?

“I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry.” – Kristen Stewart

“I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family. My beautiful wife and children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together.” – Rupert Saunders

Neither one of them are sorry for cheating. They are sorry that their actions caused “hurt, embarrassment and pain”. That’s all. Even Kristen’s final line “I love him, I love him. I’m so sorry” sounds more like a confession of love for Rupert. It’s like she wants the public to know the reason for her “momentary indiscretion”. And let’s talk about that “momentary discretion” shall we? When did that become “hookups” that “occurred over the past few weeks”?

So what’s the real story? The story above sounds like damage control from their personal assistants.

I hope that Rob and Liberty get the real story.

Brad saying he never had anything with Angelina while he was with Aniston it’s like KStew saying she never had sex with that man: No one buys it. Sorry if I offended you in any way, but I don’t buy it. 1 year filming, fell in love with a woman (and not just any woman. It’s Angelina Jolie. She seduced co-workers before, the woman who kissed her brother… she is not afraid of her sexuality and good for her, but the kissing her brother thing was a little bit to much =S). Yes, I don’t have photographic proof like I have from KStew, but It’s MY OPINION that it happened and they just kept their mouths shut (smart) because they were never caught. I don’t blame people for falling in love (you can’t help that), I blame people for acting on their feelings when they are married or committed to someone else. For me, that inexcusable. Of course, I’m not going to spit on them or throw stones at them when I see them. That’s for the person they cheated on to do, if they want to (hopefully they won’t, but everyone has different ways to cope… I broke dishes and screamed and cried, which is a lot better then brake the face of my ex-bf and the little cow he cheated on me with like I reallyyyy wanted… ok, I did slapped them both at one point, but only because they came to me 1 month later and said “Hi, how are you doing?” and I wanted to give them a taste of how I was doing xp hey, I could have done worst…)
But if you prefer for me to give you another example, unfortunately there are many out there: Bergman and Rossellini, Tiger Woods, Sandra bullock and Jesse James, Bill Clinton (“I did not have sexual relations with that woman.” Yeah, right), Jude Law… Just because there are no pictures, doesn’t mean they didn’t do it, in my opinion. interesting read from Nikki Reed: Uhm I don’t really want to talk about this, as it is DEFINITELY not my business, but I would like to express my opinion too, if you let me..
This note was the first thing that appeared on my home page, its name caught my attention, so I decided to read it.
I am aware that “The Twilight Saga” had a huge effect on all of us, you as fans and us, as part of the movies. I also understand that thanks to them you got to know us a little bit more and that, therefore, you can either feel identified with a character or any of us “in real life” for what you see in public appearances.
But the truth is (and PLEASE don’t get me wrong) that you can’t really know a person by those moments. It’s not like we have multiple personalities haha but you are there being “an actress/actor”, not the real “us”. Being an actor is just one of the many aspects of ours lives. I am an actress, but also a writer, and a friend, and a wife and a daughter, and a sister and many other things… The situation determines your “role”, let’s say.
What I mean with all this is that, despite all the things you might see, read, imagine and assume, our lives are usually very different from what the media show of us.
When I read the note and the comments from the girls (and all the comments I saw on my home page) I noticed you are all very upset by this. I can understand it actually. And I must say I do agree with what is written here, only people involved in a particular situation are the ones who have to decide about their lives and futures.
But like I said, there are so many things you don’t know, that you end up making judgments of people.. of the parties involved, as people like to say. And that doesn’t necessarily mean you are saying something bad of someone, because CLEARLY you aren’t, but.. you know, worrying and thinking about someone else’s feelings/relationship is judging too. And it can be very complicated. Especially when you don’t acknowledge *everything* about it. It can be kinda tricky because in the end you are just assuming things..assuming things that were never said, assuming things that never happened, assuming things that never existed.
I think the best thing you can do is don’t worry about it. You shouldn’t worry about something you don’t really know and about people you don’t really know completely.
So I really hope you don’t get me wrong and that you will feel better soon!

I don’t think this affair (there’s no other word for this) is going to hurt her career in the long run. I don’t even think the success of the last installment of Twilight will be affected, although the promotion of it, certainly. But the perception a lot of people had of KS have changed. I never liked her to begin with, what with her superior attitude towards Rob, but now she’s completely lost me. I don’t get this girl.

If she had not issued an apology you would all be crucifying her right now, accusing her of not even having a word of regret for Rob, saying she owes him a public apology after a public humiliation, you’d say her silence is the proof she had no feelings for Rob and don’t care about him and about hurting him so bad.

If you are going to argue about her ‘mistake’ wait until you are grown up enough to understand why that happens. We love Rob, we have idolized him, He never asked for that. Kristen was an extension of Rob and perfection was expected.
We don’t really know Rob, you never do until you live with someone. Just MAYBE he isn’t as perfect as we all think. Perish the thought, but they are both human. I feel hurt because Rob is hurt but saying something bad about Kristen would hurt Rob, he loved her. Maybe he still does.

Um like someone said. It’s not only a BIG mistake but a choice. And it’s none of anyones business? Was it anyones business when people were stalking her and Robs relationship 24/7?

I do think she still loves him. At Comic Con when they were sparring back and forth you could tell she still had that feeling. I think her apology was very genuine. I doubt if she wants to end up with Rupert she seemed more into trying to get back at his wife, wearing a similar dress to another function and them glaring at each other at events.

Why is anyone surprised at this? All I can think about is the fact that K-stew has never been a “nice” girl. We all know that she was with Rob when she was with MA. We all know that she has a nasty mouth and shares her middle finger any time she sees fit despite the fact that she has young fans that look up to her. Her image has had to be saved more times than I can remember. And she has been quoted as saying “F**k everyone” “it doesn’t matter what anyone thinks”. And lets face it how many movies has she done where she is a stripper or a pig or half naked. They even had to re do the love making scenes in BD because she was too into it.

Now let me just also say that I don’t hate Kristen. I think she is a great actress. And I also think that a lot of times she gets a bad rap (like when people say she never smiles) I have hundreds of photo’s of her on my page of her smiling.

In addition though. I don’t understand that for someone who wants to keep her life so private and she claims to be so shy why does she do so many photo shoots (I’m sure she doesn’t need the money) She doesn’t seem to mind the attention.

And as far as Rob goes well in my opinion it took her almost 3 yrs before she would show real PD of Affection and it took her one day to show more to RP. And I can remember so many times at events where she would ignore Rob or dis him. I don’t think she ever cared for Rob as much as he did for her.

All in all I think think this is more typical K-Stew behavior if you ask me. And I believe that the only real thing she’s sorry for is getting caught doing what she did.

For me, I fell in love with Edward and Bella and what they had on screen and I can’t wait to see BD 2 for that reason.

i know she went out wit rob on the 19th, she went golfing with her dad on the 2oth and the tcas were i think the 22nd. She may have seen him weeks before they were caught but who knows. I agree she does need to be honest about how far she would have taken in and would she have really stopped the cheating if she was photographed. Theory 102 Part 1

I think this was all dreamed up and executed brilliantly by Rob, Kristen, and Rupert and the celerity gossip machine is about to get punked bigtime. It’s a big payback for all the crap they have had to put up with for years. Here’s why.

This July at Comicom, just a week before the whole thing blows up Rob posited that the next sequel of Twilight should involve a Edward/Bella divorce, a kind of Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Also,
Kristen was right in the middle of prepping for Cali, a movie in which her character FAKES her own death in a snuff film and escapes LA with the cash. Life imitating art?

Also, everything we know indicates that before this whole thing Rob & Kristen’s relationship if anything had never appeared stronger- the very public pda at Cannes, at the Cosmopolis Screening and at the afterparty; the ever increasing public outings together ever since “my boyfriend is English” last fall; their co-residence at Los Feliz, and their playful banter at ComicCon itself, not to mention with Josh Horowitz of MTV.

Also, everything we know also indicates that Rupert and his wife’s relationship if anything has also never appeared stronger. See her descriptions of how they managed a rough spot, and were stronger than ever. Remember, she worked with Kristen on Snow White. Rupert cast her in the film. Kristen apparently took their kids for ice cream during the LA SWATH promotion. Even Rupert commented on how Rob had visited the SWATH set in England and how they had all become friends.

Everything about this so called incident is so out of character for Kristen. Broad daylight interlude in a public place without any attempt to hide her identity? Please. The girl is probably the most recognizable person on planet. And the object of every paparazzi desire. And she knows it and that she is constantly followed. Even the so called source (the photog) according US Magazine, claims they changed location several times to evade the paps that day. At a couple points they even look directly at the camera in the photos, they knew they were being photographed, and yet they continued.

It tooks the paps years to even catch her holding hands with Rob (Paris tarmac) and years more for them to catch in a long distance, blurry full-on make out session (in Montreal during OTR) and that is virtually the only time since. Is she really going to parade around LA with a married with children guy twice her age and makeout without having sex for all the world to see? Both she and Rob have parents who are in intact long-term committed relationships, something they both respect. Is any of this consistent with her character?

Well maybe she was looking for a way to end her relationship with Rob. But they had hard even acknowledged it in the first place and even if you believe they had, why not just breakup quietly and just drift away. Why subject yourself to the ridicule and hate, damage your career, and risk your films. Because the farce isn’t going last much longer and the truth is going to come.

Well you could say that people act out of character every day and that she was madly in lust and couldn’t control herself. But if that were the case, why not just strip in the car and have real sex. Why go out at all. Why not just get a hotel. But why if they were both so out of control, why is the contact between them so limited in their fling. Take a really close look at the pictures both in the car and at the overlook. Suggestive perhaps, but his hands are never anywhere inappropriate. Hugging, spooning while standing, close face to face contact, smiling but not even kissing. Don’t fill in what you are seeing, just look at it. Hollywood is all about the illusion.

Then the endless other oddities. Why is the US cover clearly photoshopped. Kristen has no ear and two elbows. Why at the overlook is Kristen so obviously identifiable when people are so calledly all over place interrupting their interlude? She even takes off Rob’s hat which everyone is so geeked up about and interestingly, is wearing long sweatpants rather than the hot little so-accessible shorts she was wearing for the next two days going to the gym and a studio. To limit the physical contact? Not great makeout clothing. How did Rupert even get to the pickup point in the first place? Remember, Kristen purportedly dropped him near his house. Why would she wait alone for Rupert in an abandoned Warehouse area (dangerous???) for 15 minutes with a paparatzzi watching all the time? Why wasn’t Rupert’s arrival photographed. Why don’t we have pictures of him kissing her “all over her body” as the pap claims. I’m sorry, there are some who want to see Rupert going down on Kristin in the front seat of the car, but is that what the “evidence” shows. Ever sat in the front of a mini Cooper? Not impossible but there is a reason they call it a mini. No photos of the multiple stops the paparazzi claims as they change locations. No pictures of the people interrupting them. No pictures of him walking home. What happened, ran out of film? Please. It was obviously a digital camera capable of taking rapid fire exposures, (see the 50 equally meaningless photos from the overlook if you can still even find them on the web anymore, other than the ones of them looking squarely at the camera). What happened the paps batteries ran out? And finally why no video. Hey, they all have it and most of the digital cameras have it too.

Well you say that they just simply haven’t surfaced yet. But would US Magazine really let that happen in bargaining for these photos? When they probably paid millions for the ones they got. Or were they spoon fed some photos that they gobbled up hook line and sinker.

Well we haven’t seen those photos yet or the video, so it may be a little early to be calling someone a whore, a homewrecker , and the worst girlfriend of all time and having people threating her life on the internet.

But what of those famous apologies? They were only attributed to Kristen and Rupert. How valid are they if its all part of the ruse? And why to People? Why not to Josh Horowitz at MTV or to the LA Times, or Variety, or a host of other more reputable places. To make People look silly? And why the odd language? It’s the source of the “momentary” fling scenario which is hard to believe if you believe the rest of this unbelievable junk.

What of Rob moving? Fact is, haven’t seen either of them there or anywhere else since the 20th other than at the TCA. All we have is a truck ceremoniously parked out front, when it should be in the compound not outside and lots of unnamed sources. For all we know they could be on a beach in Brazil, laughing their heads off.

Sometimes when things are too unbelievable to be true they are just that: unbelievable. My theory is that Rob, Kristen, and Rupert put this whole thing together to make the celebrity gossip machine look ridiculous, which is exactly what it is: ridiculous. It payback time for all the stuff Rob and Kristen have had to put up with all the years and will probably mark their coming out. But they are not going to pull the trigger too soon so they can continue to draw out the ridiculousness of it all. Remember the rumor about Rupert’s documentary about star scandals and their fans reactions to them? It will only be a matter of time before they get to say “you’ve been punked” and it got Rob written all over it. Maybe that is the script he has been working on all along.

Once the rest of the pictures come out you’ll see that he really did catch everything. Some people still have them saved and you can really study them. In A lot of the “intimate” hugging shots by the railing, all you see is Rupert’s face. It’s his face that is glowing and into it, no one see’s Kristen face. Its hard to know what she’s feeling. The Pap caught everything on camera and he didn’t catch them doing any oral or otherwise. Don’t you think the Pap would have said “BTW, Rupert’s head was between her legs for 10 mins” if that had happened? Re. BD2 promo, I guess it’ll depend on how things evolve until then. If more pics or informations are released making things worse, Summit will have to totally rethink their promotion. When I read Twilighter’s Theory comment (thanks for that by the way) it struck me when he/she mentioned some rumour that once must have spread that Rupert was playing with the thought of doing some kind of documentary about star scandals and fans. I have never followed Ruperts interviews, neither before during or after SWath, but if this is true and not a rumour, and if Robsten and his family really got along very well during the Swath production, they just miht have sat cozily together one evening, glass of wine in hand, chatting happily about this and that, until this admittably stunning idea is developing. In the beginning it is just a little joke, everyone is having a good laugh, until Rupert suddenly gets serious and says (and I can’t help to believe that it was him starting it all off…) “hey guys, come on, let’s do this…! Robert will have looked at him incredulously, laughing, saying his typical “What?!” Ruperst wife might have encouraged them. Why not? We help you getting married, we watch what happens out there, my husband can write his book, do his documentary, whatever… Kristen might not have been too happy with that plan because she will be the biggest loser of it all. But they all agree that she is the scapegoat in the Twilight thing anyway. Why not risk it. After all they will all clear it up shortly, and then everyone will understand. And everyone will have a goooooooooooooooooooood laugh.

And as for the children: once they are old enough to hear what happened and how great but also difficult it is to be a celebrity, they WILL understand. And of course they would explain everything before the Twillight promo starts so that this is not endangered. After all, Summit is informed about this and will be more than happy to present a married couple (just like in the movie) on the silver plate when the movie starts in November.

Of course we haven’t got much evidence, none at all except for our common sense. But for me also the tiny things count that are easily overlooked or slammed as nonsense. Ted C.’s reaction, I can not help but throw it into the pot of my speculations. As well as the statement of someone here in the forum who said, some people in England claim, they had seen Robsten there plus someones uncle living near Roberts parents house who spotted a lot of guards there. Why not? Why should there not be an uncle who lives there who sees all of this? I once was in Venice and saw the Dalai Lama walking past St. Marcus Square. Nobody notices him but me and my parents. Don’t ask me why. Maybe because he was so casual (though still in his robe) that nobody could believe that it was him. But it WAS him. I read it two days later in the news that he was actually there during the time of my stay. If I had told this to anyone shortly after my visit, nobody would have believed it. I could hardly believe it myself. So sometimes we can not trust our eyes and ears. Often it is false information. And sometimes it is not.

I also use my common sense, my feeling. And my first impression when I saw the photos was: that is not Kristen. Well, it is her of course, physically. But the way she acted to me seemed… well, just like that: acted. On every pic we see her next to Rob, she looks hushed and shy and small. And on these she stretches, she puts her head into the air… she appears confident, too confident. Something is wrong.

Another common sense thing. Without any further discussion I will take all the blame if this cheating story is true and Rupert really is the shitty sleazebag that he is portrayed as right now. And perceptions of people can be horribly misleading. But right I can’t help it, but when I see his interviews I find him coming across as a nice person. And Kristen: yes, she is edgy, she flips her finger, she says offensive and stupid stuff at times. But if all of this was meant to hurt Rob, and just for that, because for some reason we don’t know she hates him… I can not possibly believe she would go this far… Again, I might be erring. But the past has proven that my judgment of people has not been all too bad… (I am much older than most of you ;-) and still very engaged in all of this without feeling ashamed of it…)

A while I was wondering why it had to be now, and why they couldn’t wait until after Twilight with a wedding (if it because of a wedding). But then I must say, I seriously don’t think that Rupert is a bad bad adulterer anymore (if the whole story is fake…) BUT: for some reason I have no doubt that he is a hardcore business man and the takes this opportunity to kind of “use” Robsten for a project.

This “experiment” comes more than handy for both parties. You scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours…

I don’t say that I don’t mind that I am used in this experiment. Honestly, I feel betrayed either way. I feel betrayed if Kristen really betrayed Rob, but I also feel betrayed if Rupert is one day issuing a book/or a movie about our fan reactions including mine. I think that’s not fair towards the fans who have supported Twilight and Swath so strongly over the years. Some of the fans are so devoted they are having nervous breakdowns because of this.

But if it is for the sake of Robsten and their happiness, I will not moan.

I will be glad to hear other ideas from you am curious to hear your opinions. This whole thing is starting to make me feel like ***ing Sherlock Holmes… Would love to hear more from Twilighter in this regard and what you think of it. Come on, let’s do some more brainstorming!

Uh oh – forgot two major points :

1) see how quickly Ruperts wife forgave him… It took her only a couple of days. And remember his dad played it all down? They want to make sure that they can as soon as possible return to a normal life after the “scandal”. After all, now the Sanders family is not needed anymore in this game.

2) Talking about Games – what better time to marry in London right now with almost everybody’s attention on the Olympic Games… Maybe the wedding took place right on the day of the opening celebration, just one week after the scandal came out. I agree that Rob wrote this script. And for a reason,. “Sources” ( whoever the heck they are) have said for a long time that Rob was so in love and has wanted to marry her for a long time. She has been resistant because she was so young, but since living with Rob for some time now, she was ready. Their best friends just had a baby and its all around them now. The Twilight sagas will be over and they may be able have a little more normalcy.

Obviously Kristen was in the wrong, but she is paying for it! She lost the trust and respect of many people and has a long road ahead in repairing that. That being said, she is 22 years old and is bound to mess up! I was an idiot in my 20′s and made quite a few mistakes that I wish I could take back. It must suck to be so young, f**k up, and have the whole world weigh in and call you out. Not to mention how much harder it has to be on Rob, this playing out so publicly. Plus I feel the need to mention, how come Kristen is getting most of the heat when the other half (the director) was a) almost twice her age and should have known better b) married, WITH kids c) wasnt this guy her director and as such in a position of power that he obviously abused?

Someone should addrees the fans (put the record stright). I know it goes against the grain, with Rob and Kristen not wanting people to know there personal life and why should we know. I agree with this on the whole but that is part of stardem these days. This story is not going to go away and it is just hurting the fans and even might alienate some. It may even stop some of the (so called) fans being so crass and nasty, well maybe not. I do not understand how people who do not really know the truth or even the people involved can judge and be so nasty. People will allways speculate, I guess it’s human nature.

I don’t condone cheating, if this has happened (have not even seen the pictures). We do not know what was/or is going on, even what emotions they are going through. We can all guess, but we do not rally know. We do not know them personally. We only know what they want us to know.

I only have one man in my life & that’s my husband. I wish I have experienced what Kristen did when I was young or have more experience with men. Thinking back of my younger years I didn’t have that excitement and/or had experience with other men. I was scared & always protected. So I don’t know what is like to be loved & coveted by other men too. I know cheating is a sin. It will destroy the trust & relationship with your partner. Kristen is young & probably wanted to experience what the other women experience too. Now she has experienced it & also has learnt the consequence. Her future partner will be lucky this time because I don’t think she will cheat again. Just like I said, she has learnt her lesson of losing Rob (i.e. if Rob decides not to get her back).

I just ran across something very odd after thinking about the issue of how were Rob & Kristen’s closest friends reacting to all of this. From all accounts from Rob, probably his three closest Britpack friends are Sam Bradley, Marcus Foster, and Tom Sturridge. I wouldn’t have been surprised of no comments as they all are rather protective of Rob and Kristen. But…

I went to what I believe is Sam Bradley’s twitter site. And where is one of Rob’s closest friends in this life while Rob is facing perhaps the most difficult times in his life?

There are several so look at all of them and the responses including one which hopes that his Britpack friends are with him.

I do not think its any of those places. I think it may be the Virgin Islands. Of course you know why.

A married director has a kissing jag with a young actress while a photographer happily takes pictures. The actress apologizes publicly The married director follows suit and gets to go home to family. The actress is hung out to dry. The actress’s beau isn’t strong enough to avoid the pictures so he looks. If the public hadn’t access to same, this wouldn’t have hit the couple as hard. The couple would have talked and had that chance to work things out after the initial shock. But now, the public’s eyes are on them so the beau acts accordingly. He leaves her swaying in the wind. What would he have done if there was actual sex? Kill her? If he loved her so much the day before, he can’t bring himself to speak with her now? Because there “might” have been “worse” things that happened. How could anything have happened before and since with the fringes of media watching her every move for the past 4 years?
So the photographer and magazine walks away whistling from the wreckage with bucks in pocket. The beau anguishes over his own hurt and the actress bears the red A alone without a second chance. What is the name of the lone photographer? Odd because they usually roam in groups. Where are pictures of that person, his family, friends, home, car, pets? Shouldn’t they share the spotlight too?

As for those who slam us for being in denial and too engaged in other people’s lives bla bla bla:
Yes, I am in fact very engaged in what is going on between Robsten. Still I do have another life. I am actually working very hard besides and trying to set up my own company. Still, when you like a person, be it someone in your close vicinity or far away it does matter if something happens to them. This is called “care”. It is actually a human trait that most of the people in world have /should have.

If it emerges soon that Robsten really are split and that Kristen really did what she did, then I will gladly stand corrected and take back everything I said, all my wrong assumptions.
But as long as there is no proof, and as long as there is a flicker of iffyness around this whole subject, and as long as there are buddies here who think the same, I will keep on with the guessing game. Just because it is much better to do this than to feel sad about something coming to an end that has kept me busy in a very positive way over the past 4 years and proved to be a wonderful distraction when I was suffering from hard bouts of depression and illness. Twilight kept me going. The reason I am still here is because of that. I am not ashamed to say this.

Surely just another crap-mag. But on previoius pages I too posted a similar comment where I wondered if it is a staged break up of a relationship that has never taken place. But I seriously doubt that they would all go this far by creating such a scandal which obviously is causing so much damage.

lol. If we were Rob and Kristen we would have packs of paparazzi chasing us, multiple US and People Magazine spreads, and a worldwide web debate raging if it was real or not. And we don’t even know each other! Quite frankly, I don’t understand how Rob & Kristen have done so well having been in the eye of the storm for so long. And no I don’t believe any of the net jabber that she had some kind of nervous breakdown that explains this all.

Final thought on the vans. Why the big deal about making a big statement by saying your moving out and displaying moving vans. And whats the hurry anyway. You would think its the last Rob would be worrying about if this was true. As has been stated, it is his house after all.

Wow, this gets better and better. Every time I re look at the smoking gun “evidence” the US Mag photos I see something more.

There is one that shows Kristen walking towards Rupert who is standing sort of looking over the guardrail with a …. CELLPHONE ??? to his ear. Am I seeing things or is that what it looks like. Decided to take a break from his marathon makeout sessions to make a call or two? Or is it part of the attempt to cover up what they are doing (even though they are doing right out in the open)? Very odd. And what about Kristen in the same photo. What do you see. And as always, why not more pictures.

The second thing I noticed, as an avid photographer, was the remarkable clarity, depth of field, and a lack of lens distortion of any kind in the overlook photos particularly. Compare the car make out photos to the overlook one. Long telephoto lenses, particularly super longs, when shooting from a distance tend to flatten perspective making everything that is in focus seem like it is closer to the same plane. They are also harder to hold still (which leads to camera shake bluriness) because the angle of view of the lens is so narrow. And lens and barrel distortion as well as other design issues with even modern high tech lenses can lead to a deterioration of the image. Especially when you go to the far end of a telephoto or you are magnify a portion of an image to print it.

Why is this important? Something tells me this camera is a lot closer to them at the overlook than it was at the car make out session. Maybe too close for the photographer to evade observation. Unless of course they were posing for them and not worried about the photographer standing there.

Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying the images are fabricated. I am here focusing on the issue of how far the photographer was from the picture’s subjects when it was taken and what that may or may not suggest.

Nothing definitive but certainly some more questions.

Which takes me back to the “four photographers” scenario that Flamewire tried to convince the LA Times of. I think its bs and there is only one. The question is what did they really see and who were they working for.

I like your posts. I have believed all along that certain things don’t add up and there is more to this story. Its not going to change my life either way – but several items (which you eloquently point out) just don’t follow the SOP of either party. You are very interesting and articulate — and you are not out there bashing people you don’t know. I’m with you – if I’m wrong I’m wrong – but I’m not going to call anyone names or lambast them here because of personal choices they made. My life is fuller than that – but deep down I hope this all turns out to be a funny story and we’ve all been on a pretty roller coaster ride. I hope they are holed up somewhere just sitting back and smiling.

Your info gets more interesting each day, and continues to strengthen the fact that this has been a well planned hoax. After viewing the pics (thanks for the link) it would appear that most of the shots are “posed”, and the shot of them kissing in the car, if you look really closely, their lips barely appear to be touching. That’s surely not a lustful, heated affair kiss.. And Kristen also appears to possibly be on her cell phone as well as Rupert. They were probably letting the rest of “team punk” know that the papps took the bait. And surely if they were meeting for the purpose of an “affair”, they why would they spend time looking at scenery, out of the car, instead of lustfully groping each other during the short time they would have together.

Your comment about the photog calling in for backup really hits a point also. Why would a photog call for backup? Why would he want to share the credit for the pix with others when he could have been exclusive. And yes, the shots appear to be taken at very close range.
We cannot forget though, that when pics come out, they don’t give them to us all at once, so I am sure more “posed” shots will surface.

I still think the purpose is for a wedding, BD promo or both, and am sure it will drag out for a while. Am curious to see the next crumbs they throw us. That being said, your evaluations are really so much more interesting!!!

Be aware that in the early days of the Robsten debate, Lainey was a pretty virulent anti-Kristen person. She’s softened somewhat lately but I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s suffered a relapse. Just be cautious of her being any kind of source on this one.

Now, here’s my theory: Ted Casablanca was a gossip reporter for E Online. For years he has written “blind vice” columns about celebrities that for the most part are ridiculous. His blind vice about Rob and Kristen said that they had an open sexual relationship. I never believed it because I thought with all the money those two have, somebody would surely blab on them.

Anyway, if they are in an open relationship, this would make sense. Rob’s quote on cheating says, “But there’s a thing I’ve never got: That is, why do people cheat? I can understand the impulse, but not how you can keep two relationships going at the same time for long. I’m not the casual-affair kind of guy. If I choose to be with someone, it’s because I really want it. When I have a relationship, I’m 100 percent into it.” Is it really cheating if both parties agree to it? And he says, “…how can you keep two relationships going at the same time FOR LONG…” That’s an odd choice of words. The comment isn’t about the repugnancy of cheating, but the logistics of it. Weird.

Now here’s what I got from the US article (didn’t buy it but scanned it while in line at the grocery store) Rupert called Kristen, and she drove to meet him (it seems like he walked to the meeting place, a secluded parking lot), and she drove around. At one point in the story, Rupert “guides” her, showing her where to park when they go to the lookout point. In an earlier interview, Rupert had quoted about Kristen that she was “wild and fiesty”. If he knew she and Rob were in an open relationship, maybe it was him who tipped off the paps. She could have trusted him to have spied out the area since he lives only a couple blocks away. Notice how the magazine article uses the word “guides” her? As in, he knows where to park for the best pictures. Who is going to benefit from this mess? Rupert. Face it, the man is never blamed like the woman when it comes to cheating. He’s an unknown director (Snow was his first big feature) but now everyone in the world knows his name. And I’m treading lightly here because I don’t want to appear unsympathetic, but perhaps even the wife could have known his plan. She’s a model from Britain lamenting the fact (in an interview a couple months ago) that she is bored in LA. Now she is going to be well known as the poor cheated-on wife, and think about all the interviews she’ll be asked to do. (People, don’t crucify me for saying that I’m blaming the victim, I’m just saying this is Hollywood and people do all kinds of things to get famous). Both of them have been photographed already, and both are wearing their wedding rings. Really? You’re going to make it that easy on him Liberty? And what’s the old saying, “There’s no such thing as bad publicity?”

Onto Kristen’s apology: “I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry.” Jeopardized, not their relationship, but Rob himself because how are they going to explain this? “Yes everyone, we’re swingers and we’re okay with Kristen fooling around with a married man. I do stuff like that too.” Doesn’t play well to middle America. Rob looks bad if he takes her back, like a wimp, and he’s desperately trying to shed that image by taking on some “tough guy” roles. But anyone with two eyes can see they love each other and if they’re okay with an open relationship then why should they break up? They’re laying low and staying hidden while their PR teams figure out how to make this right.

I could go on but I just noticed how late it is. Ugggh! I hate how much time I’m devoting to this story!!
