Kristen Stewart stars in a short film as part of a campaign for Chanel’s new Gabrielle bag. Watch the video below!
The footage opens with a chandelier crashing to the ground of a warehouse before the actress walks in and begins fervently dancing around the room. She eventually finds the Gabrielle bag at a makeup dressing table and straps it on. The video, directed by Daniel Askill, is set to the song “The Strangers” by Stewart’s ex-girlfriend St. Vincent, who also composed the score for the actress’s upcoming directorial debut, the short film Come Swim.
Stewart is one of four stars chosen by Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld to appear in a campaign for the fashion line’s new bag. Cara Delevingne, Pharrell Williams, and Caroline de Maigret also star in short films that are expected to be released later this month. As Gossip Cop previously reported, Stewart has been Chanel’s ambassador since 2013, and has headlined many of its brands in the past, including the Metiers d’Art collection.
Last year, Stewart starred in a commercial for Chanel’s “Paris in Rome” collection, and has even expanded into the brand’s makeup and eyewear categories. Watch Stewart’s new short film for the Chanel Gabrielle bag in the video below!
