She didn’t deny her relationship before, wasn’t she the one who talked about her boyfriend doing Bel ami recently, and wasn’t she proud as can be of Rob’s success after Cosmopolis. My question is who did she tell this apology to. Did she give it to GC or a magazine or in public. If so there should be a video out there. If this statement is true it says ‘ This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life” which could mean anything it could mean there was an affair it could mean that she is sorry that she was alone with him, there are many different possibilities. Usually these types of matters are handled quietly and out of the publics eye. To me that would be the smart thing to do if the photos are real (still not sure they are) then handle it quietly and dont say one way or the other if it is true or not. Think about it, Snow White has been done and over with for months, and their saying she JUST NOW started cheating with her director. She has been filming with Sanders 24/7 for how many months on Snow White? why would they just start to cheat now that the film is over with and they would be spending more time apart? She even said that it was Adele’s songs that were her “fight playlist & have inspired her to forge on while filming. She was very miserable at that point but as a professional, she has masked the whole devastation.

Of course, one will be very lonely & isolated especially as she was away from her family & support system, had possibly entertained some attention that the director was plying on her.

This is sad, as her apology seems genuinely heartfelt, but after being on both sides of this type of thing, once the trust is gone, it’s really hard to get back. If they do try to forge onward it will be a tough trek. But I give her credit for owning it, that’s one sign of growing up. My Opinion

I don’t condone what Kristen has done with a married man. I have always liked her more than Rob. Something always seemed off with Rob. I think there is more to the story than we know. Here is my opinion, don’t crucify me. I said I don’t like what Kristen has done.

There have been many stories of Rob’s alleged hookups. There was quite a bit of talk with the actress from Remember Me. Kristen shows up at the premiere.

Jump to Toronto and Caitlin Cronenberg. There was alot of talk about Rob and Caitlin. She even twitted some strange messages. Kristen shows up in Toronto.

Kristen is in London filming SWATH. There are pictures of Rob with Sarah Roemer. Messages about them leaving SOHO together. Her stepmother’s comments. Kristen comes back from London and all of a sudden they are more together than usual.

They come back from Paris and there is news that Rob has been calling Katy Perry. Don’t forget he went to her premiere and afterparty.

So here is my take. I think that Kristen has forgiven Rob many times. Something happened when she was London. Maybe she found about Sarah Roemer, time fits. She confided in Rupert Sanders. He is older, her director and mature. Things started happening again recently with Katy Perry stories. Kristen again started to confide in Mr. Sanders. Mr. Sanders is possibly going through a midlife crisis, men usually do. He has a young, attractive girl that is seeking him for guidance. He maybe pushes it a little farther. Kristen is not sure about her status with Rob and is tired of forgiving him. She gives into the flattery and temptation. Shit happens. Was she right to do have a “fling” with a married man? NO!!! What I observed at comic-con was that Rob seemed distant with Kristen. Nothing that was noticeable except that in light of the way he has been with her at these things in the past, he was just not so “taken” with her. His comment about “keeping it in your pants” has a little more significance now eh. I have a feeling, and it’s only a feeling, that she felt his drifting away from his smitten state, which would be natural given the fact they have been together a long while and the initial “state” is over, the more mundane is taking over. But she may have felt rejected somewhat. Again this is only a feeling. Being who she is she might have told her director, Rupert Saunders in talking with him about the sequel coming up. Directors are sort of father figures, there is a relation there like professors and students, teachers and students,one of dominant/dominated and she just may have told him her feelings and he responded sexually, to seduce her, make her feel better, whatever. It obviously was not preplanned in her car in a public place, and was an impulsive act on both their parts.He certainly may have felt attracted to her while shooting SWATH and his wife would surely have noticed and felt that incipient chemistry. Her tweeting started a firestorm, and was not the behavior of a mature, wife and mother, but of a jealous woman.

I have waited till now to issue a comment about this situation. At first I was really angry at Kristen, furious. However, as the day progressed and then evening took it’s place I realized why am I angry? I have nothing to do with this couple and their problems that involve them. The problem is not the “cheating people”. I get it, she is young, immature, she made a mistake in the spurr of the moment. Even this was a one time event (which i doubt), the way she chose to behave is unforgivable. She go out of character, she took a big risk and sacrificed everything by driving all over LA to meet up, suck face and grope her married/father director. She did whatever it was in her power not to be seen or act as she were with Rob for years? what is worse then cheating is the public humiliation and embarrasement she caused to Rob and other people affected. For a person who values her privacy above all, it is unforgivable. Was it worthit Kristen? I want to know, was it worthit to throw away maybe the only true love in your life? I’m not blaming Mr. Pattinson for her actions, all I’m saying is that a person cheats when they are lacking something in their relationship. It would have been ideal and the right thing to do to break up with him first and then pursue the affair. Bottomline no one but them know what truly happened in their relationship it takes two people to make it work and it’s going to take only those two people to figure out their next step either together or apart.

I agree with everything you said. I am convinced they cheated too, but there are still things that are really odd to me about this whole thing as well. Like you said, she’s usually a private person and this was very public. She was outside & in a car in daylight, people who sneak around don’t do those things. I think their relationships will both be okay in the end & it’s no one’s place to say otherwise.

Your right she is not a kid, but she is relatively inexperienced with only a few boyfriends. Also from a very young age she has been in the spotlight with every action watched. Should she have known better, yes, is she the only one to ever be overwhelmed by an older man, no.
