The Real Story Behind Kristen Stewart and ‘An American Girl’

Kristen Stewart has a movie hitting theaters (Welcome to the Rileys) and a blockbuster set to start shooting (Breaking Dawn), but it’s a rumored film on the horizon that has outlets buzzing.

A number of sites have picked up on an interview James Woods gave to MTV, in which the actor-director praises Stewart’s talent and mentions her commitment to An American Girl, which he plans to direct.

“We’re just about ready to go now in the spring,” says Woods of the project, which follows a young woman who joins the Marines following sexual humiliation.

We knew An American Girl was in the works with the Twilight star involved, but this was the first time a production timetable had been suggested.

So is Stewart actually set to start the movie in early 2011?

Nope.

Sources tell Gossip Cop that Stewart’s camp is “hoping that’s the next film” she does, though there are still a lot of things that need to fall into place before a production of that size can begin.

As of now, though, we’re told there is no start date.

If and when the project moves forward, Gossip Cop will have an update.

    poor dude, he really wants to make this film&without Stewart there’s no way it’ll be made.. obviously he doesn’t have the funds to make it yet& that’s why he’s @ss kissing her so much; can’t blame him though, I’d do exactly the same

    Her hair has a really nice reddish tint, and if you’re trying to get her cut/color, just take a picture in to your hair dresser. (DO NOT ATTEMPT to color your hair like hers with box dye that you buy at the grocery store!!!!) She has long layers, with some framing her face. It’s not a complex cut.

    Once the Twilight Saga is over, Kristen will find she has lost most of her fan base.She will have difficulty carrying a movie consequently. She can not have more box office hits with only goths, punks, stoners and gays as her biggest fans. She seems so wooden in the movies but it may be due to her contacts and her being goo goo eyed and weird around Rob. Rob is the star of the series, not Kristen. She went out of her way to insult the fans, the press and the public that was neutral about her with her constant nasty and hostile attitude. She has gotten better lately but it is a day late and a dollar short. Kristen even said on camera at the Eclipse premier when asked for advice “be healthy and fxxx everyone!” Her “managers” laughed with her and thought is was so cool and funny. Young fans were watching and listening. Who does Summit think supported the movies and books when they had no gore, sex or drugs in them? Young romantic girls and women of faith was the demographic. They let this strange girl parade around in dresses that look like they should be on a hooker and repeatedly using language like a
    truck driver. Would it kill her to smile and be gracious instead of arguing with the fans and often acting so huffy?

    My point is that she is over-rated and a pr disaster like Lindsey Lohan. I hear they share the same agent. There are dozens of talented girls waiting in the wings that will gladly take her spotlight that will have a lot more gratitude and grace then Kristen.

    Romantic Fool you do bring up some valid points and it is disturbing to know Kristen has the same agent as Lindsey Lohan!! Yikes!! I am surprised with parents in the business they would be ok with that!

    Still, I really think Kristen is very misunderstood. She is actually very very shy and this new found fame was not expected and she is getting a handle on it but, it is very hard for her. She does use bad language and that just shows her immaturity.

    She is a good kid though and I totally get her, I have shy artsy type children, yes I would be appalled if they used the language she did but, then again we are Christ followers and my husband and I do not swear so…who knows. I totally get Kristen’s behaviour–she is just really shy and it comes across as snotty, stuck up, spoiled brat, but she couldn’t be farther from that.

    Suefromnc: This girl is not what you think. If you kept up with all the interviews, comments from her and the cast and pics of her, you would not think as you do. Kristen is not shy and is not a nice kid as you say. She said on her first set interview of Twilight curse words and bossed the camera guy around. She announced that she was not shy while promoting Twi in Oct. 2008 when the interviewer asked her. She is not stuck up. She is a nasty punk. She is not spoiled as much as she is ungrateful for her good fortune. She is rude and crude and snotty. She pretended to be straight to get Rob. That is not nice. Perhaps she did not know it but everyone could tell by her look in Panic Room. She came out at Sundance and on Runaways dvd. Before every premier, KS has been caught drinking, smoking pot, kissing girls, bad mouthing the paps and has made crude comments in magazine interviews like Harpers, Nylon, Entertainment Weekly etc. She has talked behind her cast’s backs including mentioning private information about Rob. She mocked him in an interview for being moral. You see, Rob is a nice guy that was raised well. He stated on interview in fall of 2008 that he was waiting for the right girl, is a Catholic and not involved with anyone. He said it at the UK Twi premier and on Ellen’s show 2008. She also said at Eclipse premier that young girls should “be healthy and fxxx everyone” and was not apologetic. Her and her manager thought it was funny. No class, no brains, no business in the spot light for a movie supported by young nice teen girls. The making out with girls and public bad behavior is just part of it.

    Kristen has gone out of her way to destroy the franchise and Rob’s reputation by behaving badly and creating bad PR before EVERY premier. Rob has to come in and save the day by posing for a few pics and giving the teen fans what they want. the appearance of a real life romance like the books. Kristen knows that the worse she behaves the more she will have to be seen with Rob to offset the bad PR. Rob and Kristen know each other well after all this time and are partners in the success of the movies, so he plays along. They both have said over and over that they are just friends. Kristen is a PR disaster. She is ungrateful, crude, rude, nasty and tried to get Rob while she had a boyfriend. Assuming she ever was really with Michael and not using him as a beard, she came on strong to Rob and pretended to be a sweet young girl. It wasn’t until she realized that he had met someone else that she let the true Kristen show. She insulted the fans several times, flipped the bird in view of the press and fans and behaved like she was on drugs at Comic Con 2009. The wolf pack said she is scary as did Billy Burke. Chris Weitz said she has the foulest mouth of all of them. Rob said in spring 2008 that she was intimidating, fierce and angry. Kristen is not a nice person to most people. She does have a soft spot for Rob as it is hard to be mean to such a sweet, funny and gentle guy. Rob has behaved with extreme kindness and taken a lot of crap from her. Hell has no fury like a woman scorned. She has made his life hell. Rob should get an Oscar for being able to be romantic with her on screen and hazard pay for having to kiss this girl. Between the joint and spit swapping, nobody wants to get near her. Perez Hilton and the rest of the gay sites were right about her. She is a train wreck and should be kept under lock and key. Better yet, dock her for every time she opens her foul mouth a 100k. She is not cool, just a punk.

    Romantic Fool if you only knew how correct you are. Kristen was with Michael except Michael didn’t do the Drug scene parties where trains were run. Kristen loved these. Kristen slept with Robert while she was still with Michael and Michael was done. They were broken up awhile before it was known because Michael was a gentleman and the only one who showed any class in this situation. Kristen tried to get Michael back for months but he wasn’t having any of it. This gave Kristen something else to use to control Robert Pattinson. To this day he says he owes his fame to her, there were only 4 guys at the casting and Kristen picked Robert. Kristen now has the fact she picked him and slept with him and lost Michael. In Kristen’s world that meant that Robert owed her. Robert had some talent but the longer he has acted with Kristen he has lost it. They have openly been together since Eclipse was released that was in the contract by the way. My point is look how bad Robert looks now, he really looks like a crackhead. By the way his abs were painted on. I wish Kristen’s fans could be on a set and see how she really is. I couldn’t believe how rude she was and she would ask for a retake and changed nothing, Kristen Stewart is so clueless and no American is going to date her she is going to have to stick with British guys who like their girls slutty.
