That excuse makes me want to roll my eyes. I think a large part of Hollywood is using the whole gay platform to be in the headlines. B-C-D list celebs that use this excuse are just copying off of Brangelina.

and Stacy, as for her relationship with kevin mann – they went out for 4 years so it’s a bit of a stretch to claim she was engaged to him for that long too. in fact it was never confirmed that she was engaged to him at all, it was just assumed.

So for all that time she blows off anyone who asks her about marriage plans and she has said many times it is nobody’s business. Then all if a sudden the same month news leaks out she decided to walk away from paying her mortgage on her 3.2 million dollar mansion and it is foreclosed she then drops this bomb linking her non marriage with the gay marriage issue. That is a very nice job by her publicist if I must say myself. Starting to get negative flack about being one of the problems killing the housing market for people and all of a sudden getting a nice positive story out there

Well then, i for one am very impressed with her publicist, since he / she has the power and influence necessary to change an entire publications print schedule, just to get some positive press out there ASAP – because lord knows this woman needs it after that whole sloth incident – everybody hates her now. (hopefully all sarcasm is duly noted.)

My point is that this interview would’ve taken place in the last 4 – 6 weeks because thats generally how the monthly publication scenario works. (I’m not talking out my ass either, i am in the industry). This means therefore that her publicist was not in control of when this article was released that was already set ages ago. Also, i repeat, if you read the actual article in question and see what she is saying in context (including her answer as to why she has blown off the question in the past) u may at least appreciate where she is coming from. (or maybe not – to each there own).

PS. i am not saying that the house foreclosure thing was acceptable, although i will point out that we don’t know the full story since our only information on it has come from a tabloid site. But that is neither here not there – and another conversation entirely, what i am trying to say is that these two things are not related, that is all.

Good point. The publicist told them to give Ellen show the sloth home video to pre-empt the foreclosure with a positive distraction. Basically I am sick of Hollywood celebs constantly preaching politics from their soap box telling Americans how to live their life and spend their money and if they do do this or that they are bad. And then in their personal lives they are hypocrites screwing over taxpayers and homeowners like this example
